has also recorded a cover of Yano's famous song, "Senti"
"Everybody's Talkin'"is a songwritten and recordedby singer-songwriter Fred Neil Fred Neilin 1966. A version of the song performed by
Harry Nilssonbecame a hit in 1969, reaching No. 6 on the
Billboard Hot 100chart and winning a Grammy Awardafter it was featured in the film Midnight Cowboy. The song, which describes the singer's desire to retreat
from other people to the ocean, is among the most famous works of both artists,
and has been covered by many other notable performers. The song later appeared
in the 1994 film Forrest Gump and is also on the film's soundtrack album. It also appeared in the comedy film Borat, on The Hangover
Part IIIsoundtrack and in the English
television show Black Books.Harry Edward Nilsson III (June 15, 1941 – January 15, 1994), usually
credited as Nilsson, was an American singer-songwriter who achieved the
peak of his commercial success in the early 1970s. His work is characterized by
pioneering overdub experiments, returns to the Great American Songbook, and
fusions of Caribbean sounds. A tenor with a three-and-a-half octave range,
Nilsson was one of the few major pop-rock recording artists of his era to
achieve significant commercial success without ever performing major public
concerts or undertaking regular tours.
Born in Brooklyn, Nilsson fled to Los Angeles as
a teenager and landed a job as a computer programmer at a bank. It was there
that he cultivated an interest in musical composition and close-harmony singing,
and was successful in having some of his songs recorded by various artists such
as the Monkees, and later, Three Dog Night, who had a No. 5 hit with his
song "One". In 1967, he debuted on RCA Victor with the LP Pandemonium
Shadow Show, followed with a variety of releases that include a
collaboration with Randy Newman (Nilsson Sings Newman, 1970) and the
original children's story The Point! (1971). After a brief period of
widely publicized, alcohol-fueled antics with John Lennon—the two collaborating
in 1974 for the album Pussy Cats—Nilsson left RCA, and his record output
subsequently diminished. In response to Lennon's 1980 death by shooting, he
took a hiatus from the music industry to campaign for gun control. For the rest
of his life, he recorded only on sporadic occasions. In 1994, Nilsson died of a
heart attack while in the midst of recording new material for a
since-unreleased comeback album.
Eric Clapton is the debut solo album from British
rock musician Eric Clapton, released in August 1970 under Atco and Polydor
Records.
After being successful with bands including The
Yardbirds, John Mayal & the Bluesbreakers, Cream and Blind Faith, Clapton
recorded an album under his own name in late 1969 and early 1970. The album
cover shows Clapton sitting in a room which is going to be decorated and in
which a ladder, a chair and some carpets are placed. Clapton holds a cigarette
in his right hand and has his Fender Stratocaster Brownie electric guitar with
him.
After midnight, we're gonna let it
all hang down.
After midnight, we're gonna chug-a-lug and shout.
We're gonna stimulate some action;
We're gonna get some satisfaction.
We're gonna find out what it is all about.
After midnight, we're gonna let it all hang down.
After midnight, we're gonna shake your tambourine.
After midnight, it's all gonna be peaches and cream.
"Be My Love" is
a popular song with lyrics by Sammy Cahn and music by Nicholas Brodzsky.
Published in 1950, it was written for Mario Lanza who sang it with Kathryn
Grayson in the 1950 movie The Toast of New Orleans. Lanza's 1950 recording of
the song (released by RCA Victor Records as catalog number 10-1561) was his
first million-seller, eventually selling over two million copies. It was on the Billboard charts for 34 weeks, going all the way to
number one. It was the theme song for Lanza's radio program, The Mario Lanza
Show (1951–52). It
eventually became so firmly linked to him that he wearied of it and resorted to
spoofing it in private.
Thriller is the sixth studio
album by American singer Michael Jackson, released on November 30, 1982, in the
United States by Epic Records and internationally by CBS Records. The follow-up
to Jackson's successful previous studio album, Off the Wall, it explores genres
similar to those of its predecessor, including pop, post-disco, rock and funk.
Recording sessions for the album took place from April to November 1982 at Westlake
Recording Studios in Los Angeles, with a production budget of $750,000. Quincy
Jones produced the album, and Jackson wrote four of its nine songs.
In just over a year, Thriller
became—and currently remains—the world's best-selling album, with estimated
sales of 66 million copies. Representatives for Sony and Jackson's estate say
that Thriller has sold 105 million copies globally. It is the best-selling
album in the United States and the first album to be certified 33×
multi-platinum, having shipped 33 million album-equivalent units. The album won
a record-breaking eight Grammy Awards in 1984, including Album of the Year. Seven
singles were released from the album—"The Girl Is Mine", "Billie
Jean", "Beat It", "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'",
"Human Nature", "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)", and "Thriller"—all
of which reached the top 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. Thriller also
enabled Jackson to break down racial barriers in pop music, via his appearances
on MTVand meeting with President Ronald Reagan at the White House. The
album was one of the first to use music videos as successful promotional tools,
and the videos for the songs "Thriller", "Billie Jean", and
"Beat It" all received regular rotation on MTV.
[Michael Jackson:]
It's close to midnight and something evil's lurkin' in the dark
Under the moonlight you see a sight that almost stops your heart
You try to scream but terror takes the sound before you make it
You start to freeze as horror looks you right between the eyes,
You're paralyzed
'Cause this is thriller, thriller night
And no one's gonna save you from the beast about to strike
You know it's thriller, thriller night
You're fighting for your life inside a killer, thriller tonight
You hear the door slam and realize there's nowhere left to run
You feel the cold hand and wonder if you'll ever see the sun
You close your eyes and hope that this is just imagination, girl
But all the while you hear a creature creepin' up behind
You're outta time
'Cause this is thriller, thriller night
There ain't no second chance against the thing with the forty eyes, girl
Thriller, thriller night
You're fighting for your life inside a killer, thriller tonight
Night creatures call
And the dead start to walk in their masquerade
There's no escaping the jaws of the alien this time (they're open wide)
This is the end of your life
They're out to get you, there's demons closing in on every side
They will possess you unless you change that number on your dial
Now is the time for you and I to cuddle close together
All through the night I'll save you from the terror on the screen,
I'll make you see
That this is thriller, thriller night
'Cause I can thrill you more than any ghoul could ever dare try
Thriller, thriller night
So let me hold you tight and share a killer, thriller, chiller
Thriller here tonight
'Cause this is thriller, thriller night
Girl, I can thrill you more than any ghoul could ever dare try
Thriller, thriller night
So let me hold you tight and share a killer, thriller

Scared of my own limits
Scared of my own immaturity
Scared of my own ceiling
Scared I'll die of uncertainty
Fear might be the death of me
Fear leads to anxiety
Don’t know what’s inside of me
Don't forget ab-b-b-b-bout me
Don't forget ab-b-b-b-bout me
Even when I doubt you
I'm no good without you, no, no
Temperature is dropping
Temperature is dropping
I'm not sure if I can
See this ever stopping
Shaking hands with the dark parts of my thoughts, no
Pretty Woman is a 1990
American romantic comedy film directed by Garry Marshall from a screenplay by J.
F. Lawton. The film stars Richard Gere and Julia Roberts, and features Hector
Elizondo, Ralph Bellamy (in his final performance), Laura San Giacomo and Jason
Alexander in supporting roles. Its story centers on down-on-her-luck Hollywood hooker
Vivian Ward, who is hired by Edward Lewis, a wealthy businessman, to be his
escort for several business and social functions, and their developing
relationship over the course of her week-long stay with him.
Originally intended to be
a dark cautionary tale about class and sex work in Los Angeles, the film was
reconceived as a romantic comedy with a large budget. It was widely successful
at the box office and became one of the highest-grossing films of 1990. The
film saw the highest number of ticket sales in the U.S. ever for a romantic
comedy, with Box Office Mojo listing it as the #1 romantic comedy by the
highest estimated domestic tickets sold at 42,176,400, slightly ahead of My Big
Fat Greek Wedding (2002) at 41,419,500 tickets. The film received positive
reviews, with Roberts's performance being praised, for which she received a Golden
Globe Award and a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actress. In
addition, screenwriter J. F. Lawton was nominated for a Writers Guild Award and
a BAFTA Award.
"What's Up?" is

Better, Faster, More!. It

number one in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands,
Norway, Poland, Sweden, and Switzerland.
No Prayer for the Dying is
the eighth studio album by English heavy metal band Iron Maiden. It marks their
first line-up change since 1982; guitarist Adrian Smith left the band during
the pre-production phase, unhappy with the musical direction it was taking, and
only having contributed to one song, "Hooks in You". Smith was
replaced by Janick Gers, who had previously worked with singer Bruce Dickinson on
his first solo-album, Tattooed Millionaire, and had also worked with Ian Gillan,
former Marillion singer Fish, and new wave of British heavy metal band, White
Spirit.
Although it received
generally mixed to negative reviews, the album peaked at No. 2 in the UK Albums
Chart and contains the band's only UK Singles Chart No. 1, "Bring Your
Daughter... to the Slaughter".
Mother Russia, how are you sleeping
Middle winter cold winds blow
from the snowflakes drifting
swirling round like ghosts in the snow
Mother Russia, poetry majestic
tells the time of a great empire
turning round the old man ponders reminiscing an age
gone by
