Urgh!
A Music War is a 1982 British concert film featuring
performances by punk rock, new wave, and post-punk bands
and artists. Filmed
in August to September 1980 it was directed by Derek Burbidge and produced by
Michael White and Lyndall Hobbs. Among the acts featured in the
film are Orchestral
Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD), Magazine, the Go-Go's, Toyah Willcox, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts,
X, XTC, Devo, the Cramps, Oingo Boingo, Dead Kennedys, Gary Numan, Klaus Nomi, Wall of Voodoo, Pere Ubu, Steel Pulse, Surf Punks, 999, UB40, Echo &
the Bunnymen and The Police. These were many of the most
popular groups on the New Wave scene; in keeping with the spirit of the scene,
the film also features several less famous acts.
Well someone told me yesterday
That when you throw your love away
You act as if you just don't care
You look as if you're going somewhere
But I just can't convince myself
I couldn't live with no one else
And I can only play that part
And sit and nurse my broken heart
So lonely
So lonely
So lonely
So lonely
So lonely
So lonely
So lonely
So lonely
So lonely
So lonely
So lonely
So lonely
Now no one's knocked upon my door
For a thousand years or more
All made up and nowhere to go
Welcome to this one man show
Just take a seat they're always free
No surprise, no mystery
In this theater that I call my soul
I always play the starring role
So lonely
So lonely (I feel low)
So lonely (I feel so lonely)
So lonely (I feel low)
(I feel so lonely)
So lonely (I feel low)
So lonely (I feel so lonely)
So lonely (I feel low)
(I feel so lonely)
So lonely (I feel low)
So lonely (I feel so lonely)
So lonely (I feel low)
(I feel so lonely)
So lonely (I feel low)
So lonely (I feel so lonely)
Lonely, I'm so lonely
So lonely
So lonely
So lonely
So lonely
So lonely
So lonely
Lonely, I'm so lonely
I feel so alone
I feel low
I feel so
Feel so low
I feel low, low
I feel low, low, low
I feel low, low, low
I feel low, low, low
I feel low, low, low
I feel low, low, low
Low, I feel low
I feel low
I feel low
I feel so lonely
I feel so lonely
I feel so lonely, lonely, lonely, lone
Lone, lone, lone
I feel so lonely
So lonely
So lonely
So lonely
So lonely (I feel so alone)
So lonely (I feel so alone)
