I know your eyes in the morning sun
I feel you touch my hand in the pouring rain
And the moment which you wander far from me
I wanna feel you in my arms again

And you come to me on a summer breeze
Keep me warm in your love then you softly leave
And it's me you need to show
How deep is your love

How deep is your love, how deep is your love
I really need to learn
'Cause we're living in a world of fools
Breaking us down
When they all should let us be
We belong to you and me

I believe in you
And you know the door to my very soul
You're the light in the deepest darkest night
You're my savior when I fall

And you may not think
That I care for you
When you know down inside that I really do
And it's me you need to show
How deep is your love

How deep is your love, how deep is your love
I really need to learn
'Cause we're living in a world of fools
Breaking us down
When they all should let us be
We belong to you and me

And you come to me on a summer breeze
Keep me warm in your love then you softly leave
And it's me you need to show
How deep is your love

How deep is your love, how deep is your love
I really need to learn
'Cause we're living in a world of fools
Breaking us down
When they all should let us be
We belong to you and me

How deep is your love, how deep is your love
I really need to learn
'Cause we're living in a world of fools
Breaking us down
When they all should let us be
We belong to you and me

Rita Ori Filomena Merk-Pavone, coniugata Ricordi, nota come Rita Pavone (Torino, 23 agosto 1945) è una cantante, attrice e showgirl italiana naturalizzata svizzera.

A quella smorfiosa
Con gli occhi dipinti
Che tutti quanti fan ballare
Lasciandomi a guardare
Eh, eh, che rabbia mi fa
Um, um, che rabbia mi fa

E, e datemi un martello
Che cosa ne vuoi fare?
Lo voglio dare in testa
A chi non mi va
A tutte le coppie
Che stanno appiccicate
Che vogliono le luci spente
E le canzoni lente, ha ha
Che noia mi da, uffa
Che noia mi da

Eh datemi un martello
Che cosa ne vuoi fare?
Per rompere il telefono
L'adopererò
Perchè tra pochi minuti
Mi chiamerà la mamma
Il babbo ormai sta per tornare
A casa devo andare, uffa
Che voglia ne ho, no, no, no
Che voglia ne ho

Un colpo sulla testa
A chi non è dei nostri
Così la nostra festa
Più bella sarà
Saremo noi soli
Saremo tutti amici
Faremo insieme i nostri balli
Il surf e l'hully-gully, ah ah
Che forza sarà
Che forza sarà
Che forza sarà
Che forza sarà.

it's, oh, so quiet
it's, oh, so still
you're all alone
and so peaceful until...

you fall in love
zing boom
the sky up above
zing boom
is caving in
wow bam!!!
you've never been so nuts about a guy
you wanna laugh you wanna cry
you cross your heart and hope to die

'til it's over and then
it's nice and quiet
but soon again
starts another big riot

you blow a fuse
zing boom
the devil cuts loose
zing boom
so what's the use
wow bam
of falling in love

it's, oh, so quiet
it's, oh, so still
you're all alone
and so peaceful until...

you ring the bell
bim bam
you shout and you yell
hi ho ho
you broke the spell
gee, this is swell you almost have a fit
this guy is "gorge" and I got hit
there's no mistake this is it

'til it's over and then
it's nice and quiet
but soon again
starts another big riot

you blow a fuse
zing boom
the devil cuts loose
zing boom
so what's the use
wow bam
of falling in love

the sky caves in
the devil cuts loose
you blow blow blow blow blow your fuse
when you've fallen in love
ssshhhhhh...

BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATER

SIMON & GARFUNKEL
SONGWRITER: PAUL SIMON
COUNTRY: U. S. A.
ALBUM: BRIDGE OVER TROUBLER WATER
LABEL: COLUMBIA RECORDS
GENRE: POP
YEAR: 1970

"Bridge over Troubled Water" is a song composed by American singer-songwriter Paul Simon and recorded by Simon & Garfunkel. Produced by the duo and Roy Halee, the song was released as the follow-up single to "The Boxer" in January 1970. The song is featured on their fifth studio album, Bridge over Troubled Water (1970). Art Garfunkel performs lead vocals over a piano accompaniment exhibiting strong influence of gospel music. The original studio recording employs elements of Phil Spector's "Wall of Sound" technique using L.A. session musicians from the Wrecking Crew.
It was the last song recorded for their fifth and final album, but the first fully completed. The song's instrumentation was recorded in California while the duo's vocals were cut in New York. Simon felt his partner, Art Garfunkel, should sing the song solo, an invitation Garfunkel initially declined but later accepted. Session musician Larry Knechtel performs piano on the song, with Joe Osborn playing bass guitar and Hal Blaine closing out the song with drums. The song won five awards at the 13th Annual Grammy Awards in 1971, including Grammy Award for Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
The song became Simon & Garfunkel's biggest hit single, and it is often considered their signature song. It was a number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 for six weeks, and it also topped the charts in the United Kingdom, Canada, France, and New Zealand. It was a top five hit in eight other countries as well, eventually selling over six million copies worldwide, making it among the best-selling singles. It became one of the most performed songs of the 20th century, with over 50 artists, among them Elvis Presley, Aretha Franklin, and Johnny Cash covering the song. It was ranked number 48 on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

When you're weary
Feeling small
When tears are in your eyes
I will dry them all
I'm on your side

When times get rough
And friends just can't be found
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down

When you're down and out
When you're on the street
When evening falls so hard
I will comfort you

I'll take your part
When darkness comes
And pain is all around
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down

Sail on Silver Girl,
Sail on by
Your time has come to shine
All your dreams are on their way

See how they shine
If you need a friend
I'm sailing right behind
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind.
