Strange lady in town, strange lady in town.
She's all that any man could ever hope or pray for.
If I were king, I'd trade the crown,
For that strange, strange lady in town.
(Strange lady in town.)

Oh, heart of mine, you're in danger,
There's a strange lady in town.
Who is this heart-stealin' stranger?
Who is turnin' the town upside down.

Here hair is red as the settin' sun.
Her lips are ripe as the corn.
The lights that rise in her sea-green eyes,
Make a man kinda glad he was born.

Strange lady in town, strange lady in town.
She's all that any man could ever hope or pray for.
If I were king, I'd trade the crown,
For that strange, strange lady in town.
(Strange lady in town.)

Ain't got no ring for her finger,
And I can't buy her a gown.
But rain or shine, I'll still make her mine.
That strange, strange lady in town.

Strange lady in town, strange lady in town.
She's all that any man could ever hope or pray for.
If I were king, I'd trade the crown,
For that strange, strange lady in town.

(Strange lady in town.)
Strange lady in town.

(Strange lady in town.)
Strange lady in town.

(Strange lady in town.)
Strange lady in town.

EYE OF THE TIGER
PAUL ANKA
Composers: Frank sullivan; James Michael peterik; daniel Jones; darren hayes & jim peterik
ALBUM: PAUL ANKA ROCK SWINGS
Label: verve records
Genre: swing
Year: 2005

Rock Swings is na album by Paul Anka. Recorded in November 2004 and released on May 31, 2005 in Canada and June 7, 2005 in the United States, it contains swing jazz covers of popular rock and pop songs from the 1980s and 1990s.
The idea of an established vocalist giving rock hits a "standards" treatment was earlier realized by Anka's contemporary Pat Boone in the 1997 album, In a Metal Mood: No More Mr. Nice Guy, with Boone doing covers of songs by Alice Cooper, Van Halen and Judas Priest. That same year, Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gormé covered Soundgarden's "Black Hole Sun" in a lounge-jazz style on the 1997 compilation album release, Lounge-A-Palooza. Anka also covers "Black Hole Sun" on Rock Swings.
Reportedly, the Michael Jackson song "Billie Jean" was slated to be on the album in the recording stages, but Paul Anka could not get through a vocal take without bursting into laughter. The album features 'It's My Life' by Bon Jovi, a song which includes the line "Like Frankie said, 'I did it my way'" - a tongue-in-cheek reference to the Sinatra classic My Way, the English lyrics to which were written by Anka.
After the release of this album, Anka was awarded a star on Canada's Walk of Fame in Toronto. A DVD release of the same name, including live performances of these songs by Anka, was released on December 6, 2005.

Risin' up, back on the street
Took my time, took my chances
Went the distance
Now I'm back on my feet
Just a man and his will to survive

So many times, it happens too fast
You trade your passion for glory
Don't lose your grip
On the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive

It's the eye of the tiger
It's the thrill of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge
Of our rival
And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And his fortune must always be
Eye of the tiger

Face to face, out in the heat
Hangin' tough, stayin' hungry
They stack the odds
Still we take to the street
For the kill with the skill to survive

It's the eye of the tiger
It's the thrill of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge
Of our rival
And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And his fortune must always be
Eye of the tiger

Risin' up straight to the top
Had the guts, got the glory
Went the distance
Now I'm not gonna stop
Just a man and his will to survive

It's the eye of the tiger
It's the thrill of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge
Of our rival
And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And his fortune must always be
Eye of the tiger

The eye of the tiger
The eye of the tiger
The eye of the tiger

The eye of the tiger

Cry baby

festival eurovisão da canção 2003
label: Walt Disney records
genre: eletropop
year: 2003

Love, love's not enough
I need your trust
But you don't try anymore

Hun, you still turn me on
Though your love has gone
And I don't want to cry anymore
I thought our love would last forever

Bye bye baby
You lied to me baby
I must have been crazy
Baby, bye bye

Cry, cry baby
You lied to me baby
Survive without you baby
Baby, bye, Baby, bye bye

You're, living a lie
You won't say goodbye
You just keep me hanging on

I've got my whole life to live
Got more love to give
Got to get a life of my own

I know you're looking for something else
Not gonna settle for anything less, so....

Bye bye baby
You lied to me baby
I must have been crazy
Baby Bye Bye

It's your turn to cry, cry cry baby
You lied to me baby
I'll survive without you baby
Baby, bye, baby, bye bye

Bye bye baby
You lied to me baby
I must have been crazy
Bye Bye
It's your turn to cry

Cry cry baby
You lied to me baby
I'll survive without you baby

Baby, bye, baby, bye bye

I've had enough of baby love
I need a love that's strong and tough
Someone to hold me when things get rough
I need a love that's big enough

Bye bye baby
You lied to me baby
I must have been crazy
Baby bye bye

Cry, cry baby
You lied to me baby
I'll survive without you baby
Baby, bye, baby, bye bye

Bye bye baby
You lied to me baby
I must have been crazy

Baby
It's your turn to cry

Cry cry baby
(Oh no)
Cry cry baby
(I don't wanna cry)
Cry cry baby
Baby bye Baby bye bye
(baby bye byeeeeeeee)
Ooooh baby
Bye bye
(Oh yeah)
Oh baby bye bye

If tomorrow is judgement day (sing mommy)
And I'm standin' on the front line
And the Lord ask me what I did with my life
I will say I spent it with you

If I wake up in World War 3
I see destruction and poverty
And I feel like I want to go home
It's okay if you're coming with me

Cause your love is my love
and my love is your love
It would take an eternity to break us
And the chains of Amistad couldn't hold us

Cause your love is my love
and my love is your love
It would take an eternity to break us
And the chains of Amistad couldn't hold us

If I lose my fame and fortune
And I'm homeless on the street
And I'm sleepin' in Grand Central Station
It's okay if you're sleepin' with me

As the years they pass us by
we stay young through each other's eyes
And no matter how old we get
It's okay as long as I got you babe

Cause your love is my love
and my love is your love
It would take an eternity to break us
And the chains of Amistad couldn't hold us

Cause your love is my love
and my love is your love
It would take an eternity to break us
And the chains of Amistad couldn't hold us

If I should die this very day
Don't cry, cause on earth we wasn't meant to stay
And no matter what people say
I'll be waiting for you after judgement day

Cause your love is my love
and my love is your love
It would take an eternity to break us
And the chains of Amistad couldn't hold us

Cause your love is my love
and my love is your love
It would take an eternity to break us
And the chains of Amistad couldn't hold us

Cause your love is my love
and my love is your love
It would take an eternity to break us
And the chains of Amistad couldn't hold us
