Oh Uh Oh Uh
Everynight I go
Everynight I go
Sneaking out the door
I lie a little more
Baby I'm helpless

Theres something about the night
And the way it hides all the things I like
Little black butterflies
Deep inside me

What would my mama do (Oh Uh Oh Uh)
If she knew about me and you? (Oh Uh Oh Uh)
What would my daddy say (Oh Uh Oh Uh)
If he saw me hurt this way? (Oh Uh Oh Uh)

Why should I feel ashamed?
Feeling guilty at the mention of your name
Here we are again
It's nearly perfect

What would my mama do (Oh Uh Oh Uh)
If she knew about me and you? (Oh Uh Oh Uh)
What would my daddy say (Oh Uh Oh Uh)
If he saw me hurt this way? (Oh Uh Oh Uh)

What would my mama do... (Oh Oh )
What would my daddy say...

All the things a girl should know
Are the things she can't control
All the things a girl should know
she can't control

What would my mama do (Oh Uh Oh Uh)
If she knew about me and you? (Oh Uh Oh Uh)
What would my daddy say (Oh Uh Oh Uh)

If he saw me hurt this way? (Oh Uh Oh Uh)

1. verse

Har alltid trodd at penger
var det jeg ville ha,
nå vet jeg at jeg trenger
en solskinnsdag.
For jeg husker ikke lenger
hva som er ned eller opp,
de siste 24 timer
har jeg bare vært på jobb.

Refreng:

Piano Solo ~

Refreng:

Oooooo-oooo

Bridge:

Har alltid trodd at penger
var det jeg ville ha,
nå vet jeg at jeg trenger
en solskinnsdag,

en solskinnsdag.

Cold and frosty morning
There's not a lot to say
About the things caught in my mind
And as the day was dawning my plane flew away
With all the things caught in my mind

And I don't wanna be there when you're...
Coming down
And I don't wanna be there when you hit the ground

So don't go away
Say what you say
But say that you'll stay
Forever and a day
In the time of my life
'Cause I need more time, yes, I need more time
Just to make things right

Damn my situation and the games I have to play
With all the things caught in my mind
Damn my education I can't find the words to say
About the things caught in my mind

I don't wanna be there when you're
Coming down
I don't wanna be there when you hit the ground

So don't go away
Say what you say
But say that you'll stay
Forever and a day
In the time of my life
'Cause I need more time, yes, I need more time
Just to make things right

Me and you what's going on?
All we seem to know is how to show
The feelings that are wrong

So don't go away
Say what you say
Say that you'll stay
Forever and a day
In the time of my life
'Cause I need more time, yes, I need more time
Just to make things right

So don't go away
Say what you say
But say that you'll stay
Forever and a day
In the time of my life
'Cause I need more time, yes I need more time
Just to make things right

'Cause I need more time just to make things right
Yes, I need more time just to make things right

YEAR: 2015

Buy Me a Boat is the debut album of American country music singer Chris Janson. The album was released on October 30, 2015. It features the singles "Buy Me a Boat", "Power of Positive Drinkin'" and "Holdin' Her".
I ain’t rich, but I damn sure wanna be
Working like a dog all day, ain’t working for me
I wish I had a rich uncle that’d kick the bucket
And that I was sitting on a pile like Warren Buffett
I know everybody says
Money can’t buy happiness

But it could buy me a boat, it could buy me a truck to pull it
It could buy me a Yeti 110 iced down with some silver bullets
Yeah, and I know what they say,
Money can’t buy everything
Well, maybe so,
But it could buy me a boat

They call me redneck, white trash and blue collar
But I could change all that if I had a couple million dollars
I keep hearing that money is the root of all evil
And you can’t fit a camel through the eye of a needle
I’m sure that’s probably true,
But it still sounds pretty cool

‘Cause it could buy me a boat, it could buy me a truck to pull it
It could buy me a Yeti 110 iced down with some silver bullets
Yeah, and I know what they say,
Money can’t buy everything
Well, maybe so,
But it could buy me a boat

To float down on the water with a beer…
I hear the Powerball Lotto is a-sitting’ on a hundred mill…
Well, that would buy me a brand new rod and reel…

And it could buy me a boat, it could buy me a truck to pull it
It could buy me a Yeti 110 iced down with some Silver Bullets
Yeah, and I know what they say,
Money can’t buy everything
Well, maybe so,
But it could buy me a boat

Yeah, and I know what they say,
Money can’t buy everything
Well, maybe so,
But it could buy me a boat

It could buy me a boat.
