When I need motivation
My one solution is my queen
'cause she' stay strong yeah yeah
She is always in my corner
Right there when I wanna
All these other girls are tempting
But I'm empty when you're gone
And they say
Do you need me?
Do you think I'm pretty?
Do I make you feel like cheating?
I'm like no, not really 'cause

Oh, I think that I found myself a cheerleader
She is always right there when I need her
Oh, I think that I found myself a cheerleader
She is always right there when I need her

She walks like a model
She grants my wishes like a genie in a bottle
Yeah, Yeah
'cause I'm the wizard of love
And I got the magic wand
All these other girls are tempting
But I'm empty when you're gone
And they say
Do you need me?
Do you think I'm pretty?
Do I make you feel like cheating?
I'm like no, not really 'cause

Oh, I think that I found myself a cheerleader
She is always right there when I need her
Oh, I think that I found myself a cheerleader
She is always right there when I need her

She gives me love and affection
Baby did I mention, you're the only girl for me
No I don't need the next one
Mom loves you too, she thinks I made the right selection
Now all that's left to do
Is just for me to pop the question

Oh, I think that I found myself a cheerleader
She is always right there when I need her
Oh, I think that I found myself a cheerleader

She is always right there when I need her

You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off you
You'd be like heaven to touch
I wanna hold you so much
At long last love has arrived
I thank god I'm alive
You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off you

Pardon the way that I stare
There's nothing else to compare
The sight of you leaves me weak
There are no words left to speak
But if you feel like I feel
Please let me know that it's real
You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off you

I love you, baby
And if it's quite alright
I need you, baby
To warm a lonely night
I love you, baby
Trust in me when I say okay
Oh, pretty baby
Don't let me down, I pray
Oh, pretty baby, now that I found you, stay
And let me love you, baby
Let me love you

You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off you
You'd be like heaven to touch
I wanna hold you so much
At long last love has arrived
And I thank god I'm alive
You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off you

Pardon the way that I stare
There's nothing else to compare
The sight of you leaves me weak
There are no words left to speak
But if you feel like I feel
Please let me know that it's real
You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off you

I love you, baby
And if it's quite alright
I need you, baby
To warm a lonely night
I love you, baby
Trust in me when I say okay
Oh, pretty baby
Don't let me down, I pray
Oh, pretty baby, now that I found you, stay
And let me love you, baby
Let me love you, okay

Oh, pretty baby
Don't let me down, I pray
Oh, pretty baby, now that I found you, stay
And let me love you, baby

Baby, let me love you
GOODBYE AGAIN

Rocky Mountain High is the sixth album released by American singer-songwriter John Denver in September 1972. It was his first US Top 10 album (no. 4), propelled by the single "Rocky Mountain High", and in addition reached no. 11 in the UK.
John Denver é mais conhecido por sua balada Annie's Song, mas grandes sucessos mundiais foram também as canções Take Me Home, Country Roads, Sunshine On My Shoulders, Perhaps Love (em dueto com Plácido Domingo), Leaving on a Jet Plane, Don't Close Your Eyes Tonight e Come And Let Me Look In Your Eyes. Ficou também famoso por outras paixões, além da música: aviões, natureza e mulheres.
It's five o'clock this morning and the sun is on the rise.
There's frosting on the windowpane and sorrow in your eyes.
The stars are fading quietly, night is nearly gone.
And so you turn away from me and tears begin to come,
and it's goodbye again, I'm sorry to be leaving you.
Goodbye again, as if you didn't know, it's goodbye again,
and I wish you could tell me, why do we always fight when I have to go?

It seems a shame to leave you now, you lay so soft and warm.
I long to lay me down again and hold you in my arms.
I long to kiss your tears away and give you back your smile.
But other voices beckon me and for a little while it's goodbye again,
Goodbye again, as if you didn't know, it's goodbye again,
and I wish you could tell me, why do we always fight when I have to go?

I have to go and see some friends of mine and some that I don't know,
and some who aren't familiar with my name.
It's something that's inside of me, not hard to understand, it's anyone who'll listen to me sing.

If your hours are empty now, who am I to blame?
Do you think if I were always here, our love would be the same?
As it is, the time we have is worth the time alone.
And lying by your side's the greatest peace I've ever known, and it's goodbye again,
Goodbye again, as if you didn't know, it's goodbye again,

and I wish you could tell me, why do we always fight when I have to go?

Child you're talking of freedom
Painted on your garden wall
It's not there at all
Child you're talking of wisdom
You say wisdom is a golden rule
You ain't no fool
But you don't know who it is
Who calls you name
In the light of the golden moon
You don't know who it is who brought you here
And chained up your heart
So soon

Child you're life is a fairytale
And it's not the same
And the clouds
You're hiding behind
In your misty mind have disappeared
Like a sailor far from the shores of your dreams
And far from the love of your home
Sailor lost on your own misty seas
And the chains on your heart, baby
Might be my love
Might be my love

It's so confusing
And you feel that you're loosing yourself
But, there over the mountain
You thought you'd never have to climb
There's a road
Reaching and stretching
To the corner of your mind
Like a river casts aside the dust
And grows and grows as it flows
The feeling deep inside of you
Must break like a dam
So set you free
So set you free

So set you free
