Debulhar o trigo
Recolher cada bago do trigo
Forjar no trigo o milagre do pão
E se fartar de pão

Decepar a cana
Recolher a garapa da cana
Roubar da cana a doçura do mel
Se lambuzar de mel

Afagar a terra
Conhecer os desejos da terra
Cio da terra, a propícia estação

E fecundar o chão

Home is the eighth Simply Red studio album, released in 2003. It is the first Simply Red album released on band frontman Mick Hucknall's own record label, Simplyred.com. The album was a success all around the world, due to the hit singles, "Sunrise", "Fake", "You Make Me Feel Brand New" and "Home".
The success of "Sunrise" was due in part to the sensuous video being shot in Rio de Janeiro, and its borrowing of a loop found in the 1981 Hall and Oates single "I Can't Go for That" (as well as some of the lyrics).
The album includes three cover versions: the Bob Dylan song, "Positively 4th Street," the The Stylistics' soul hit, "You Make Me Feel Brand New," and the Dennis Brown song, "Money in My Pocket".
Após 30 anos de carreira, com um interregno de 5 (2010-2015),o grupo de soul-pop britânico lançou sucessos como "Holding Back the Years", regravando o sucesso dos anos 70,"If You Don't Know Me By Now", "Stars", "Come to My Aid" , "For Your Babies", "Fairground", "You make me feel brand new", vendendo mais de sessenta e cinco milhões de cópias.
As I look into your eyes I see the sunrise
The light behind your face helps me realize
Will we sleep and sometimes love until the moon shines
Maybe the next time I'll be yours and maybe you'll be mine

Sunrise
I don't know if it's even in your mind at all
It could be me
At this moment in time
Is it in your mind at all
It should be me, it could be me
Forever, forever

Wandering through life will love come home to you
And the love you want forever, will they be true to you
Will we sleep and sometimes love until the moon shines
Maybe the next time I'll be yours and maybe you'll be mine

I don't know if it's even in your mind at all
It could be me
At this moment in time
Love's indescribable
It should be me, it could be me
Forever

Easy, ready, willing, over time
Where does it stop where do you dare me to draw the line
You've got the body now you want my soul
Don't even think about it say no go

Sunrise
I don't know if it's even in your mind at all
It could be me
At this moment in time
Is it in your mind at all
It should be me, it could be me
Forever

At this moment in time
Is it in your mind at all
It should be me, it could be me

Forever, forever.

Não aprendi a dizer adeus
não sei se vou me acostumar
olhando assim nos olhos teus
sei que vai ficar nos meus
a marca desse olhar.

Não tenho nada pra dizer
só o silêncio vai falar por mim
eu sei guardar a minha dor
e apesar de tanto amor
vai ser melhor assim.

Não aprendi a dizer adeus
mas tenho que aceitar
que amores vêm e vão
são aves de verão
se tens que me deixar
que seja então feliz.

Não aprendi a dizer adeus
mas deixo você ir
sem lágrimas no olhar
seu adeus me machuca
o inverno vai passar

e apaga a cicatriz.

And I should have known better to lie with one as beautiful as you.
Yeah, I should have known better to take a chance on ever losing you.
But I thought you'd understand, can you forgive me?

I saw you walking by the other day.
I know that you saw me, you turned away and I was lost.
You see: I've never loved no one as much as you.
I've fooled around but tell me now just who is hurting who?
And I should have known better to lie with one as beautiful as you. ...
I should have known better to take a chance on ever losing you
But I thought you'd understand, can you forgive me?

I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I
should have known better,
I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I
should have known better.

It's true, I took our love for granted all along.
And trying to explain where I went wrong, I just don't known.
I cry but tears don't seem to help me carry on.
Now there is no chance you'll come back home, got too much pride.
And I should have known better to lie with one as beautiful as you. ...
I should have known better to take a chance on ever losing you
But I thought you'd understand, can you forgive me?

I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I love you,
I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I love you.
No-no-no-no-no-no I love you!
No-no-no-no-no-no, yeah!

And I should have known better to lie with one as beautiful as you.
