Looking back on when I
Was a little nappy headed boy
And my only worry
Was for Christmas what would be my toy
Even though we sometimes
Would not get a thing
We were happy with the
Joy the day would bring

Sneaking out the back door
To hang out with those hoodlum friends of mine
Greeted at the back door
With "boy thought I told you not to go outside,"
Tryin' your best to bring the
Water to your eyes
Thinkin' it might stop her
From woopin' your behind

I wish those days could come back once more
Why did those days ev-er have to go
I wish those days could come back once more
Why did those days ev-er have to go
Cause I love them so

Brother says he's tellin'
'Bout you playin' doctor with that girl
Just don't tell I'll give you
Anything you want in this whole wide world
Mama gives you money for Sunday school
You trade yours for candy after church is through

Smokin' cigarettes and writing something nasty on the wall
(you nasty boy)
Teacher sends you to the principal's office down the hall
You grow up and learn that kinda thing ain't right
But while you were doin'it-it sure felt outta sight

I wish those days could come back once more
Why did those days ev-er have to go
I wish those days could come back once more
Why did those days ev-er have to go.

A produção do álbum inclui produtores André 3000, Clive Davis, Antonio Dixon, Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, Terry Hunter, Eric Kupper, Harvey Mason, Jr., Dapo Torimiro, Wayne Williams, entre outros.

There's a fire burning in my heart
Reaching a fever pitch and it's bringing me out the dark
Finally, I can see you crystal clear
Go ahead and sell me out and I'll lay your shit bare

See how I'll leave with every part of you
Don't underestimate the things that I will do

There's a fire burning in my heart
Reaching a fever pitch and its bringing me out the dark

The scars of your love remind me of us
It keeps me thinking we almost had it all
The scars of your love, it keeps me breathless
I can't help thinking

We could've had it all
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
Rolling in the deep
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
You had my heart inside of your hand
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
But you played it to the beat
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)

Baby, I have no story to be told
But I've heard one of you and I'm gonna make your head burn
(Woah) think of me in the depths of your despair
Making a home down there, as mine sure won't be shared

The scars of your love remind me of us
It keeps me thinking we almost had it all
The scars of your love, it keeps me breathless
I can't help thinking
We could've had it all
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
Rolling in the deep
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
You had my heart inside of your hand
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
But you played it to the beat
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)

We could've had it all
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
Rolling in the deep
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
You had my heart inside of your hand
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
But you played it to the beat, to the beat
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
Throw your soul through every open door
Count your blessings to find what you look for
Turn my sorrow into treasured gold
You pay me back in kind and reap just what you sow

You know that ain't no mountain high enough
Ain't no valley low enough
Ain't no river wide enough
To keep me from getting to you, babe

You know that ain't no mountain high enough
Ain't no valley low enough
Ain't no river wide enough
To keep me from getting to you, babe

We could've had it all (oh)
Rolling in the deep (oh)
You had my heart inside of your hand (oh)
But you played it to the beat
(Rolling in the deep)
We could've had it all
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
Rolling, rolling, rolling
(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)
(You're gonna wish you never had met me)
Oh, yeah, oh, yeah

(Tears are gonna fall, rolling in the deep)

Faz muito tempo, mas eu me lembro
Você implicava comigo
Mas hoje eu penso que tanto tempo
Me deixou muito mais calmo

O meu comportamento egoísta
O seu temperamento difícil
Você me achava muito esquisito

When I wake up each morning trying to find myself
And if I'm ever the least unsure
I always remind myself
Though your someone in this world that I'll always choose to love
From now on you're only someone that I used to love
As for me it's getting down to the last unspoken part
When you must begin to ease the pain of a broken heart
Tell me why should I even care if I have to lose your love
From now on you're only someone that I used to love
Wish it was enough for you
All the love I had to give
I did my best to keep you satisfied
I guess you'll never know how much I tried
I really tried
And if ever our paths should cross again
Well, you won't find me being the one to get lost again
Once I had so much to give but you just refused my love
From now on you're only someone that I used to love
Musical Interlude
I did my best to keep you satisfied
I guess you'll never know how much I tried
I really tried
When I wake up each morning trying to find myself
And if I'm ever the least unsure I always remind myself
Though you're someone in this world that I'll always choose to love
From now on you're only someone that I used to love
From now on you're only someone that I used to love
Though you're someone in this world that I'll always choose to love
From now on you're only someone that I used to love

Hmm, from now on you're only someone that I used to love
