Last time I was sober, man I felt bad
Worst hangover that I ever had
It took six hamburgers and scotch all night
Nicotine for breakfast just to put me right
'cos if you wanna run cool
If you wanna run cool
If you wanna run cool, you got to run
On heavy, heavy fuel

My life makes perfect sense
Lust and food and violence
Sex and money are my major kicks
Get me in a fight I like dirty tricks
'cos if you wanna run cool
Yes if you wanna run cool, you got to run
On heavy, heavy fuel

My chick loves a man who's strong
The things she'll do to turn me on
I love the babes, don't get me wrong
Hey, that's why I wrote this song

I don't care if my liver is hanging by a thread
Don't care if my doctor says I ought to be dead
When my ugly big car won't climb this hill
I'll write a suicide note on a hundred dollar bill
'cos if you wanna run cool
If you wanna run cool
Yes if you wanna run cool, you got to run

On heavy, heavy fuel.
PANCHO AND LEFTY
WILLIE NELSON AND MERLE HAGGARD
SONGWRITER: TOWNES VAN ZANDT
COUNTRY: U.S.A.
ALBUM: THE ESSENTIAL
LABEL: EPIC RECORDS
GENRE: COUNTRY
YEAR: 2003

Pancho & Lefty is a honky tonk album by outlaw country musicians Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson, released in 1983. Original vinyl copies from 1983 give the album's title as "Poncho & Lefty" on the cover, as well as on the inner sleeve and the record label; the album's title track is similarly rendered "Poncho & Lefty" on the cover, inner sleeve, and label. Later editions correct the title to the intended "Pancho & Lefty".
Livin on the road my friend, is gonna keep you free and clean
Now you wear your skin like iron
Your breath as hard as kerosene
You weren't your momma's only boy, but her favorite one it seems
She began to cry when you said goodbye
And sank into your dreams
Pancho was a bandit boy, his horse was fast as polished steel
He wore his gun outside his pants
For all the honest world to feel
Pancho met his match you know on the deserts down in Mexico
Nobody heard his dyin words, ah but that's the way it goes

All the Federales say, they could've had him any day
They only let him slip away, out of kindness I suppose

Lefty he can't sing the blues all night long like he used to
The dust that Pancho bit down south ended up in Lefty's mouth
The day they laid poor Pancho low, Lefty split for Ohio
Where he got the bread to go, there ain't nobody knows

All the Federales say, they could've had him any day
They only let him slip away out of kindness I suppose

The boys tell how old Pancho fell, and Lefty's livin in cheap hotels
The desert's quiet, Cleveland's cold
And so the story ends we're told
Pancho needs your prayers it's true, but save a few for Lefty too
He only did what he had to do, and now he's growing old

All the Federales say, they could've had him any day
They only let him slip away out of kindness I suppose

A few gray Federales say, they could've had him any day

They only let him slip away out of kindness I suppose.
IN THE END
LINKIN PARK
SONGWRITER: LINKIN PARK
COUNTRY: U.S.A.
WHERE: LIVE 2017 RIP
ALBUM: HYIBRID THEORY
LABEL: WARNER BROS RECORDS
GENRE: ALTERNATIVE ROCK
YEAR: 2000

It starts with one
One thing
I don't know why
It doesn't even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind
I designed this rhyme
To explain in due time

All I know
Time is a valuable thing
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings
Watch it countdown 'till the end of the day
The clock ticks life away

It's so unreal
You didn't look out below
Watch the time go right out the window
Trying to hold on, to didn't even know
I wasted it all just to

Watch you go
I kept everything inside
And even though I tried
It all fell apart
What it meant to me will eventually
Be a memory of a time when

I've tried so hard
And got so far
But in the end
It doesn't even matter
I had to fall
To lose it all
But in the end
It doesn't even matter

One thing, I don't know why
It doesn't even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind I designed this rhyme
To remind myself how
I've tried so hard

In spite of the way you were mocking me
Acting like I was part of your property
Remembering all the times you fought with me
I'm surprised, it
Got so far

Things aren't the way they were before
You wouldn't even recognize me anymore
Not that you wouldn't knew me, back then
But it all comes back to me
In the end

You kept everything inside
And even though I tried
It all fell apart
What it meant to me will eventually
Be a memory
Of a time when

I've tried so hard
And got so far
But in the end
It doesn't even matter
I had to fall
To lose it all
But in the end
It doesn't even matter

I've put my trust in you
Pushed as far as I can go
For all this
There's only one thing you should've known

I've tried so hard
And got so far
But in the end
It doesn't even matter
I had to fall
To lose it all
But in the end
It doesn't even matter.

Da janela lateral do quarto de dormir
Vejo uma igreja, um sinal de glória
Vejo um muro branco e um vôo pássaro
Vejo uma grade, um velho sinal

Mensageiro natural de coisas naturais
Quando eu falava dessas cores mórbidas
Quando eu falava desses homens sórdidos
Quando eu falava desse temporal
Você não escutou
Você não quer acreditar
Mas isso é tão normal
Você não quer acreditar
E eu apenas era
Cavaleiro marginal lavado em ribeirão
Cavaleiro negro que viveu mistérios
Cavaleiro e senhor de casa e árvores
Sem querer descanso nem dominical

Cavaleiro marginal banhado em ribeirão
Conheci as torres e os cemitérios
Conheci os homens e os seus velórios
Quando olhava da janela lateral
Do quarto de dormir
Você não quer acreditar
Mas isso tão normal
Você não quer acreditar
Mas isso tão normal
Um cavaleiro marginal
Banhado em ribeirão

Você não quer acreditar.
