"Magic" is a song by British rock band Coldplay for their sixth studio album, Ghost Stories (2014). It was written and produced by band members Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland, Will Champion, Chris Martin, with production assistance from Paul Epworth.
The song was recorded by the band during sessions for their sixth studio album in 2013, at their purpose-built studios The Bakery and The Beehive in North London, England, both originally constructed for work on their two previous studio albums, 2008's Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends and 2011's Mylo Xyloto respectively. The song's bass riff, the first part of the song, was originally conceived by Guy Berryman during the band's recording sessions in February 2013. The song was then covered by singer-songwriter Lauren Aquilina for her BBC Radio 1 Maida Vale Studios session.
Call it Magic
Call it true
I call it magic
When I'm with you
And I just got broken
Broken into two
Still I call it magic
When I'm next to you

And I don't, and I don't
And I don't, and I don't
No, I don't, it's true
No I don't, No I don't
No I don't, No I don't
Want anybody else but you
No I don't, No I don't
No I don't, No I don't
No, I don't, it's true
No I don't, No I don't
No I don't, No I don't
Want anybody else but you

Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh

Call it magic
Cut me into two
And with all your magic
I disappear from view
And I can't get over
Can't get over you
Still I call it magic
It's such a precious truth

And I don't and I don't and I don't and I don't
No, I don't it's true
I don't, no I don't, no I don't, no I don't
Want anybody else but you
I don't, no I don't, no I don't, no I don't
No, I don't it's true
I don't, no I don't, no I don't, no I don't
Want anybody else but you

Want to fall, fall so far
I want to fall, fall so hard
And I call it magic
And I call it true
I call it magic

Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh

And if you were to ask me
After all that we've been through
Still believe in magic
Oh yes I do
Oh yes I do
Yes I do
Oh yes I do

Of course I do.

Sometimes at night when I turn off the lights
I be thinking about you
Baby, baby, baby, yeah
Tossing in my bed all these thoughts in my head
Got me losing my breath now
Baby, baby, baby, yeah

Tell me what would you do
If you only knew
How I feel about you
About you

I wanna your be first, your last, your everything
I wanna be in your arms and definitely
I wanna be someone you keep coming back to see
I wanna be one
I wanna be who
Wanna be your baby

Deep down inside there's an unending fire
And I just can't contain it
Baby, baby, baby, yeah
You're the only one who can
Show me that you feel the same
I wanna hear you say my name
Baby, baby, baby, yeah

Tell me what would you do
If you only knew
How I feel about you
About you, you, you
I wanna your be first, your last, your everything
I wanna be in your arms and definitely
I wanna be someone you keep coming back to see
I wanna be one
I wanna be who
Wanna be your baby

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
I wanna your be first, your last, your everything
I wanna be in your arms and definitely

With her full lyric soprano voice, she maintains an active concert and recording career performing song cycles and operas as well as in concerts throughout the U.S. She has won six Tony Awards, more performance wins than any other actor, and is the only person to win all four acting categories. "Maybe This Time" is a song written by John Kander and Fred Ebb which was included in the 1972 film Cabaret. It is sung by the character Sally Bowles, played by Liza Minnelli in the film. It had already been recorded and released twice, in similar arrangements, on Liza Minnelli's debut studio álbum Liza! Liza!, in 1964, and on Minnelli's 1970 album New Feelin', but it turned into a traditional pop standard after its 1972 inclusion in Cabaret.
Maybe this time, i'll be lucky
Maybe this time, he'll stay
Maybe this time
For the first time
Love won't hurry away

He will hold me fast
I'll be home at last
Not a loser anymore
Like the last time
And the time before

Everybody loves a winner
So nobody loved me;
'lady peaceful,' 'lady happy,'
That's what i long to be
All the odds are in my favor
Something's bound to begin
It's got to happen, happen sometime
Maybe this time i'll win.

Kristin Dawn Chenoweth (/ˈtʃɛnoʊwɛθ/; born Kristi Dawn Chenoweth, July 24, 1968) is an American actress and singer, with credits in musical theatre, film and television. In 1999, she won a Tony Award for her performance as Sally Brown in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown on Broadway. In 2003, she received wide notice for originating the role of Glinda in the musical Wicked, including a nomination for another Tony. Her television roles have included Annabeth Schott in NBC's The West Wing and Olive Snook on the ABC comedy-drama Pushing Daisies, for which she won a 2009 Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. Chenoweth also starred in the ABC TV series GCB in 2012.
Kristin Chenoweth is known for her exceptional talent when it comes to acting and singing. With shows like Wicked, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, and Glee under her belt, it's obvious why she's such a big star. Along with her immense repertoire and extreme talent, she's also very humble and thankful for where she is now and for all who support her.
Halfway through Chenoweth's breathtaking performance of Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You", she said through falling tears, "As you can imagine, going up here and looking out at your faces, having this whole experience with these musicians. This whole night of music that I love, with the people I love the most sitting in the front row, is too much for television."
"I Will Always Love You" was released in 1974 as the second single off of Dolly Parton's Jolene album. It made it onto the charts in 1974, 1982, and again in 1995. The first time, it peaked at #1 on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. It was later covered by Whitney Houston in 1992 for her film, The Bodyguard and became one of the best-selling singles of all time.
If I should stay
I would only be in your way
So I'll go but I know
I'll think of you every step of the way

And I will always love you
Will always love you
You
My darling, you

Bittersweet memories
That is all I'm taking with me
So good-bye
Please don't cry
We both know I'm not what you, you need

And I will always love you
I will always love you

I hope life treats you kind
And I hope you have
All you've dreamed of
And I wish you joy and happiness
But above all this I wish you love

And I will always love you
I will always love you
I will always love you
I will always love you

I will always love you
I, I will always love you

You
Darling, I love you
I'll always
I'll always love you.
