Queriendo despertar pensando cómo no quisiera

A Marshmallow World
DEAN MARTIN & Frank Sinatra
SONGWRITERS: PETER DEROSE & CARL SIGMAN
COUNTRY: U.S.A.
ALBUM: MERRY CHRISTMAS
LABEL: REPRISE
GENRE: JAZZ
YEAR: 1966

"A Marshmallow World" (sometimes called "It's a Marshmallow World") is a popular song that was written in 1949 by Carl Sigman (lyrics) and Peter DeRose (music). The song is about winter and is commonly regarded as a Christmas song, although the lyrics make no mention of the holiday.
The song was first a hit for Bing Crosby (backed by the Lee Gordon Singers and Sonny Burke and his Orchestra). Crosby's version, recorded in 1950, peaked at number 24 on the pop singles chart in January 1951. Other artists who recorded the song in 1950 included Ray Anthony, Vic Damone, Johnny Desmond, Arthur Godfrey, Vaughn Monroe and Dean Martin.
The Dean Martin Christmas Album is a 1966 studio album by Dean Martin arranged by Ernie Freeman and Bill Justis.
This was Martin's only album of Christmas music released on Reprise Records (his only other Christmas album, A Winter Romance, having been released in 1959 on Capitol Records). It was reissued on CD by Hip-O Records in 2008, retitled A Very Cool Christmas.
Ricci James Martin, Martin's son, wrote in a biography of his father that The Dean Martin Christmas Album was the only one of his father's albums that was played in the Martin household, his parents seldom listening to Dean Martin's music.
It's a marshmallow world
In the winter
When the snow
Comes to cover the ground
It's the time for play
It's a whipped cream day
I wait for it all year round
Those are marshmallow clouds
Being friendly
In the arms
Of the evergreen trees
And the sun is red

Like a pumpkin head
It's shining
So your nose won't freeze
The world is your snowball
See how it grows
That's how it goes
Whenever it snows
The world is your snowball
Just for a song
Get out and roll it along

It's a yum-yummy world
Made for sweethearts
Take a walk
With your favorite girl
It's a sugar date
What if spring is late
In winter
It's a marshmallow world

The world is your snowball
See how it grows
That's how it goes
Whenever it snows
The world is your snowball
Just for a song
Get out and roll it along
It's a yum-yummy world
Made for sweethearts
Take a walk
With your favorite girl
It's a sugar date
What if spring is late
In winter
It's a marshmallow world
In winter
It's a marshmallow world
In winter
It's a marshmallow world.
I’II BE SEEING YOU
GINGER ROGER
SONGWRITERS: SAMMY FAIN & IRVING KAHAL
COUNTRY: U.S.A.
ALBUM: I’LL BE SEEING YOU
LABEL: MGM
GENRE: POPULAR SONG

YEAR: 1944

"I'll Be Seeing You" is a popular song, with music by Sammy Fain and lyrics by Irving Kahal. Published in 1938, it was inserted into the Broadway musical Right This Way, which closed after fifteen performances. In the musical it was performed by the singer Tamara Drasin, who had a few years earlier introduced "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes". The song is a jazz standard, and has been covered by many musicians.
Ginger Rogers (July 16, 1911 – April 25, 1995) was an American actress, dancer, and singer, widely known for performing in films and RKO's musical films, partnered with Fred Astaire. She appeared on stage, as well as on radio and television, throughout much of the 20th century.
Born in Independence, Missouri and raised in Kansas City, Rogers and her family moved to Fort Worth, Texas, when she was nine years old. After winning a 1925 Charleston dance contest that launched a successful vaudeville career, she gained recognition as a Broadway actress for her debut stage role in Girl Crazy. This success led to a contract with Paramount Pictures, which ended after five films. Rogers had her first successful film role as a supporting actress in 42nd Street(1933). Throughout the 1930s, Rogers made 10 films with Astaire, among which were some of her biggest successes, such as Swing Time(1936) and Top Hat(1935). After two commercial failures with Astaire, Rogers began to branch out into dramatic films and comedies. Her acting was well received by critics and audiences, and she became one of the biggest box-office draws of the 1940s. Her performance in Kitty Foyle(1940) won her the Academy Award for Best Actress.
I'll be seeing you
In all the old familiar places
That this heart of mine embraces
All day through.

In that small cafe;
The park across the way;
The children's carosel;
The chestnut trees;
The wishin' well.

I'll be seeing you
In every lovely summer's day;
In everything that's light and gay.
I'll always think of you that way.

I'll find you
In the morning sun
And when the night is new.
I'll be looking at the moon,
But I'll be seeing you.

I'll be seeing you
In every lovely summer's day;
In everything that's light and gay.
I'll always think of you that way.

I'll find you
In the morning sun
And when the night is new.
I'll be looking at the moon,
But I'll be seeing you.

O amor, quando se revela
Não se sabe revelar
Sabe bem olhar p'ra ela
Mas não lhe sabe falar

Quem quer dizer o que sente
Não sabe o que há de dizer
Fala: parece que mente
Cala: parece esquecer

Ah, mas se ela adivinhasse
Se pudesse ouvir o olhar
E se um olhar lhe bastasse
P'ra saber que a estão a amar!

Mas quem sente muito, cala
Quem quer dizer quanto sente
Fica sem alma nem fala
Fica só, inteiramente!

Mas se isto puder contar-lhe
O que não lhe ouso contar
Já não terei que falar-lhe
Porque lhe estou a falar.
