A new world hangs outside the window
Beautiful and strange
It must be falling away
I must be
Sound and color with me for my mind
And it should show you where to go when I need to speak

With me in my mind

His 1990s and 2000s-era solo music hás glam influences, such as David Bowie and Iggy Pop. More recently, he has released fewer music recordings, splitting his time between songwriting, DJing, writing books, designing clothes, and photography. In 2015, Boy George received na Ivor Novello Award from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors for Outstanding Services to British Music.
This Is What I Do is a 2013 album by Boy George, produced by Richie Stevens. With this release, it was the first time since the mid-1990s that a sober George had taken the time to complete a full-length album. It gained positive reviews, with The Guardian calling it "the best comeback of the year". It was Boy George's first solo album to reach the UK Top 40 since his 1987 debut Sold.
Three songs, with videos, were selected as promotional tracks for the album; "King of Everything", "My God" and "Nice and Slow".
To promote the album, George undertook a UK tour in November 2013 featuring support from self-styled "Flock Rock" band The Featherz, whose lead singer/guitarist Danie Cox appeared in the videos for "King of Everything", "My God" and non-album single "I'm Coming Home". A further tour took place in April 2014.
Everybody knew the boy was strange
The raised him in whispers
Oh how they prayed
The demons would go away
His daddy was cruel
He tried to meme him tough
Always afraid to give him too much love
Too much love

Running running running
What a waste of time
No-one you can be but your good self
Bigotry & hatred
And too much lies

Now it’s time to live your life
Ain’t no second chance
You can’t rewind, no, no
You can’t rewind

Everybody said the boy will change
Many years are gone but the truth remains
The truth remains

Running running running
What a waste of time
No-one you can be but your good self
Bigotry & hatred
And too much lies

Now it’s time to live your life
Ain’t no second chance
You can’t rewind
You can’t rewind.

Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh

[The Weeknd]
I'm always ready for a war again
Go down that road again
It's all the same
I'm always ready to take a life again
You know I'll ride again
It's all the same (ooh, ooh, ooh)

Tell me who's gon' save me from myself
When this life is all I know
Tell me who's gon' save me from this hell
Without you, I'm all alone

Who gon' pray for me?
Take my pain for me?
Save my soul for me?
'Cause I'm alone, you see
If I'm gon' die for you
If I'm gon' kill for you
Then I'll spill this blood for you, hey

[Kendrick Lamar]
I fight the world, I fight you, I fight myself
I fight God, just tell me how many burdens left
I fight pain and hurricanes, today I wept
I'm tryna fight back tears, flood on my doorsteps
Life a livin' hell, puddles of blood in the streets
Shooters on top of the building, government aiding relief
Earthquake, the body drop, the ground breaks
The poor one with smoke lungs and Scarface
Who need a hero? (hero)
You need a hero, look in the mirror, there go your hero
Who on the front lines at Ground Zero? (hero)
My heart don't skip a beat, even when hard times bumps the needle
Mass destruction and mass corruption
Their souls are sufferin' men
Clutchin' on deaf ears again, rapture is comin'
It's all prophecy and if I gotta be
Sacrificed for the greater good, then that's what it gotta be

[The Weeknd]
Who gon' pray for me?
Take my pain for me?
Save my soul for me?
'Cause I'm alone, you see
If I'm gon' die for you
If I'm gon' kill for you
Then I'll spill this blood for you, hey (hey)

Hey (hey), hey
Hey (hey), hey
Hey (hey), hey
Hey (hey), hey

Who gon' pray for me?
Take my pain for me?
Save my soul for me?
'Cause I'm alone, you see
If I'm gon' die for you
If I'm gon' kill for you
Then I'll spill this blood for you, hey

[Kendrick Lamar & The Weeknd]
Just in case my faith go
I live by my own law
I live by my own law
I live by my own
Just in case my faith go
I live by my own law
I live by my own law
I live by my own.

Abandonada por você
Tenho tentado te esquecer
No fim da tarde uma paixão
No fim da noite uma ilusão
No fim de tudo, a solidão...

Apaixonada por você
Tenho tentado não sofrer
Lendo antigas poesias
Rindo em novas companhias
E chorando por você...

Mas você não vem
Nem leva com você
Toda essa saudade
Nem sei mais de mim
Onde vou assim,
Fugindo da verdade?

Abandonada por você
Apaixonada por você
Sem outro porto ou outro cais
Sobrevivendo aos temporais
Essa paixão ainda me guia...

Abandonada por você
Apaixonada por você
Eu vejo o vento te levar
Mas tenho estrelas prá sonhar
E ainda te espero todo dia...

Mas você não vem
Nem leva com você
Toda essa saudade
Nem sei mais de mim
Onde vou assim,
Fugindo da verdade?

Abandonada por você
Apaixonada por você
Sem outro porto ou outro cais
Sobrevivendo aos temporais
Essa paixão ainda me guia...

Abandonada por você
Apaixonada por você
Eu vejo o vento te levar
Mas tenho estrelas prá sonhar
E ainda te espero todo dia...
