Baby, are you down?
Down, down
Even if the sky is fallin' down
Down, down

You ought to know
Tonight is the night to let it go
Put on a show
I wanna see how you lose control

So leave it behind 'cause we have a night to get away
So come on and fly with me as we make our great escape

So, baby, don't worry
You are my only
You won't be lonely
Even if the sky is falling down
You'll be my only
No need to worry
Baby, are you down?
Down, down
Baby, are you down?
Down, down
Even if the sky is falling down

Just let it be
Come on and bring your body next to me
I'll take you away
Turn this place into our private getaway

So leave it behind 'cause we have a night to get away
So come on and fly with me as we make our great escape
So why don't we run away

Baby, don't worry
You are my only
You won't be lonely
Even if the sky is falling down
You'll be my only
No need to worry
Baby, are you down?
Down, down
Baby, are you down?
Down, down
You're down
Even if the sky is falling down

[Lil Wayne:]
Down like she's suppose to be
She gets down low for me
Down like her temperature
'Cause to me she's zero degree
She's cold, over-freeze
I got that girl from overseas
Now she's my Miss America
Now can I be her soldier, please?
I'm fighting for this girl
On the battlefield of love
Don't it look like baby Cupid
Sending arrows from above?
Don't you ever leave the side of me
And definitely, not probably
And honestly
I'm down like the economy

Baby, don't worry
You are my only
You won't be lonely
Even if the sky is falling down
You'll be my only
No need to worry
Baby, are you down
(the sky is falling down)
Down, down
Baby, are you down
Down, down
(the sky is falling down)
Even if the sky is falling down
And the sky is falling down.

I've been roaming around
Always looking down at all I see
Painted faces fill the places I can't reach
You know that I could use somebody
You know that I could use somebody

Someone like you, and all you know, and how you speak
Countless lovers under cover of the street
You know that I could use somebody
You know that I could use somebody

Someone like you

Off in the night, while you live it up, I'm off to sleep
Waging wars to shake the poet and the beat
I hope it's gonna make you notice
I hope it's gonna make you notice

Someone like me
Someone like me
Someone like me, somebody

I'm ready now
I'm ready now
I'm ready now
I'm ready now
I'm ready now
I'm ready now
I'm ready now

Someone like you, somebody
Someone like you, somebody
Someone like you, somebody

I've been roaming around
Always looking down at all I see.

Contaram-me ainda á pouco
Que á noite pela mouraria
Andava o fadista louco
Sem saber o que dizia
Andava o fadista louco
Sem saber o que dizia
Falava na amendoeira
Na guia no capelão
Falava na amendoeira
Na guia no capelão
Na rosária camiseira
E na tasca do gingão
Na rosária camiseira
E na tasca do gingão

Metido numa samarra
Melenas em desalinho
Cantava o fado velhinho
Dedilhando uma guitarra
Cantava o fado velhinho
Dedilhando uma guitarra
Cantava o fado velhinho
Dedilhando uma guitarra

Louco gritou pela severa
E quando a manha surgiu
Louco gritou pela severa
E quando a manha surgiu
Quando alguém quis ver quem era
Nunca mais ninguém o viu
Quando alguém quis ver quem era
Nunca mais ninguém o viu

Então fiquei meditando
Que um louco que ninguém o via
Então fiquei meditando
Que um louco que ninguém o via
Era a saúdade chorando
A morte da mouraria
Era a saúdade chorando
A morte da mouraria
ROCK AND ROLL SUICIDE
DAVID BOWIE
SONGWRITER: DAVID BOWIE
WHERE: LIVE IN PHILADELPHIA 1974
COUNTRY: U. K.
ALBUM: THE RISE AND FALL OF ZIGGY STARDUST AND THE SPIDERS FROM MARS
LABEL: RCA VICTOR
GENRE: ROCK AND ROLL
YEAR: 1972

"Rock 'n' Roll Suicide" is a song by David Bowie, originally released as the closing track on the album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars in June 1972. It detailed Ziggy's final collapse as an old, washed-up rock star and, as such, was also the closing number of the Ziggy Stardust live show. In April 1974 RCA issued it as a single.
Time takes a cigarette, puts it in your mouth
You pull on your finger, then another finger, then your cigarette
The wall-to-wall is calling, it lingers, then you forget
Oh, you're a rock 'n' roll suicide

You're too old to lose it, too young to choose it

And the clock waits so patiently on your song
You walk past a cafe but you don't eat when you've lived too long
Oh, no, no, no, you're a rock 'n' roll suicide

Chev brakes are snarling as you stumble across the road

But the day breaks instead so you hurry home
Don't let the sun blast your shadow
Don't let the milk float ride your mind
You're so natural - religiously unkind

Oh no love! You're not alone
You're watching yourself but you're too unfair
You got your head all tangled up but if I could only make you care
Oh no love! You're not alone
No matter what or who you've been
No matter when or where you've seen
All the knives seem to lacerate your brain
I've had my share, I'll help you with the pain
You're not alone

Just turn on with me and you're not alone
Let's turn on with me and you're not alone
Let's turn on and be not alone
Gimme your hands cause you're wonderful[2x]
Oh gimme your hands.
