For
each moment of tears
I
still have my souvenirs
Cherished
in a pocket full of dreams
I
could hold, I could feel
Kept
pretending they were real
Long
time after lovers stayed away
Now
a picture of you
I
had cherished so true
Even
kissed till I'd see you again,
But
when
Chorus
I've
been crying today
Threw
my memories away
Someting
died, as I cried
For
my broken souvenirs
As
I reach for the sun
Find
a place I belong
Now
your one of my broken souvenirs
If
you need me again,
There's
no way you really can
Pasted
pieces never make a whole
And
if you leave your room
On
some windy afternoon
Tried
to see where all the pices flew
It
was hard to get on
Since
my memories were gone
But
if you'll ever see me again
I
can.
Repeat
Chorus
Now
your one of my broken souvenirs
Baby
your one of my broken souvenirs.

It was released in 1992 and written by Charlotte Anning and produced by Kenneth
"Babyface" Edmonds, L.A. Reid and Daryl Simmons.
"End of the Road" achieved overwhelming
domestic and international success and is considered one of the most successful
songs of all time. In the United States, "End of the
Road" spent a then record breaking 13 weeks at number one on the US Billboard
Hot 100, a record broken later in the year by Whitney Houston's 14-week number
one hit "I Will Always Love You"; Boyz II Men would later match
Houston's record with "I'll Make Love to You", which spent 14 weeks
at number one in 1994, and then reclaim the record with "One Sweet Day"
(a duet with Mariah Carey), which spent 16 weeks at number one from 1995 to
1996.
"End of the
Road" was the number one single of 1992 on the Billboard Year-End Hot 100

the decade 1990–1999. It is also ranked at number 50 on Billboard's
"All Time Top 100 Songs".
[Spoken:]
Girl, you know we belong together
I have no time for you to be playing with my heart like this
You'll be mine forever, baby, you just see
[Verse:]
We belong together
And you know that I'm right
Why do you play with my heart?
Why do you play with my mind?
Said we'd be forever
Said it'd never die
How could you love me and leave me
And never say goodbye?
When I can't sleep at night without holding you tight
Girl, each time I try I just break down and cry
Pain in my head oh I'd rather be dead
Spinnin' around and around
[Chorus:]
Although we've come to the end of the road
Still I can't let you go
It's unnatural, you belong to me, I belong to you
Come to the end of the road
Still I can't let you go
It's unnatural, you belong to me, I belong to you
Girl, I know you really love me,
You just don't realize
You've never been there before
It's only your first time
Maybe I'll forgive you, hmm
Maybe you'll try
We should be happy together
Forever, you and I
Will you love me again like you loved me before
This time I want you to love me much more
This time instead just come to my bed
And, baby, just don't let me down
[Chorus:]
Although we've come to the end of the road
Still I can't let go
It's unnatural, you belong to me, I belong to you
Come to the end of the road
Still I can't let go
It's unnatural, you belong to me, I belong to you
[Spoken:]
Girl, I'm here for you
All those times at night when you just hurt me
And just run out with that other fella
Baby, I knew about it, I just didn't care
You just don't understand how much I love you do you?
I'm here for you
I'm not out to go out and cheat on you all night
Just like you did, baby, but that's all right
Hey, I love you anyway
And I'm still gonna be here for you 'till my dying day, baby
Right now, I'm just in so much pain, baby
'Cause you just won't come back to me
Will you? Just
come back to me
(Lonely)
Yes, baby, my heart is lonely
(Lonely)
My heart hurts, baby
(Lonely)
Yes I feel pain too
Baby, please
This time instead just come to my bed
And, baby, just don't let me down
[Chorus:]
Although we've come to the end of the road
Still I can't let go
It's unnatural, you belong to me, I belong to you
Come to the end of the road
Still I can't let go
It's unnatural, you belong to me, I belong to you
[Chorus — a cappella:]
Although we've come to the end of the road
Still I can't let go
It's unnatural, you belong to me, I belong to you
Come to the end of the road
Still I can't let go
It's unnatural, you belong to me, I belong to you.

(Wanted wanted)
Alone, so alone that I could cry
I want to be wanted (wanted)
Alone, watching lovers passing by
I want to be wanted
When I am kissed
I want his lips to really kiss me
When we're apart
I want his heart to really miss me
I want to know
He loves me so his eyes are misting
That's the way I want to be loved
Alone, just my lonely heart knows how
I want to be wanted (wanted) right now
Not tomorrow, but right now
I want to be wanted
I want someone
To share my laughter and my tears with
Someone I know
I'd love to spend a million years with
Where is this someone somewhere meant for me?
(Alone) Just my lonely heart knows how
I want to be wanted (right now)
Not tomorrow, but right now
I want to be wanted
I want someone
To share my laughter and my tears with
Someone I know
I'd love to spend a million years with
Where is this someone somewhere meant for me?
(Someone, somewhere) Meant for me.
