Audrey Faith McGraw (née Perry; born September 21, 1967), known professionally as Faith Hill, is an American singer and record producer. She is one of the most successful country artists of all time, having sold more than 40 million albums worldwide. She then achieved mainstream and crossover success with her next two albums, Faith(1998) and Breathe(1999). Faith spawned her first international success in early 1998, "This Kiss", while Breathe became one of the best-selling country albums of all time, led by the huge crossover success of the songs "Breathe" and "The Way You Love Me". It had massive sales worldwide and earned Hill three Grammy Awards.
In 2001, she recorded "There You'll Be" for the Pearl Harbor soundtrack and it became an international success and her best-selling single in Europe. Hill's next two albums, Cry(2002) and Fireflies(2005), were both commercial successes; the former spawned another crossover single, "Cry", which won Hill a Grammy Award, and the latter produced the singles "Mississippi Girl" and "Like We Never Loved at All", which earned her another Grammy Award.
Hill has won five Grammy Awards, 15 Academy of Country Music Awards, six American Music Awards, and several other awards. Her Soul2Soul II Tour 2006 with McGraw became the highest-grossing country tour of all time. In 2001, she was named one of the "30 Most Powerful Women in America" by Ladies Home Journal. In 2009, Billboard named her as the No. 1 Adult Contemporary artist of the 2000s decade and also as the 39th best artist. From 2007 to 2012, Hill was the voice of NBC Sunday Night Football's intro song. In 2019, Hill will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
I can feel the magic floating in the air
Being with you gets me that way
I watch the sunlight dance across your face and I've
Never been this swept away

All my thoughts just seem to settle on the breeze
When I'm lying wrapped up in your arms
The whole world just fades away
The only thing I hear
Is the beating of your heart

'Cause I can feel you breathe
It's washing over me
Suddenly I'm melting into you
There's nothing left to prove
Baby all we need is just to be
Caught up in the touch
The slow and steady rush
Baby, isn't that the way that love's supposed to be
I can feel you breathe
Just breathe

In a way I know my heart is waking up
As all the walls come tumbling down
I'm closer than I've ever felt before
And I know
And you know
There's no need for words right now

'Cause I can feel you breathe
It's washing over me
Suddenly I'm melting into you
There's nothing left to prove
Baby all we need is just to be
Caught up in the touch
The slow and steady rush
Baby, isn't that the way that love's supposed to be
I can feel you breathe
Just breathe

Caught up in the touch
The slow and steady rush
Baby, isn't that the way that love's supposed to be
I can feel you breathe
Just breathe

I can feel the magic floating in the air
Being with you gets me that way.

Anthony Dominick Benedetto(born August 3, 1926), known professionally as Tony Bennett, is an American singer of traditional pop standards, big band, show tunes, and jazz. He is also a painter, having created works under the name Anthony Benedetto that are on permanent public display in several institutions. He is the founder of the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts in Astoria, Queens, New York.
Born and raised in Astoria to an Italian-American family, Bennett began singing at an early age. He fought in the final stages of World War II as a U.S. Army infantryman in the European Theater. Afterward, he developed his singing technique, signed with Columbia Records and had his first number-one popular song with "Because of You" in 1951. Several top hits such as "Rags to Riches" followed in early 1953. He then refined his approach to encompass jazz singing. He reached an artistic peak in the late 1950s with albums such as The Beat of My Heart and Basie Swings, Bennett Sings. In 1962, Bennett recorded his signature song, "I Left My Heart in San Francisco". His career and personal life experienced an extended downturn during the height of the rock music era.
Bennett staged a comeback in the late 1980s and 1990s, putting out gold record albums again and expanding his reach to the MTV generation while keeping his musical style intact. He remains a popular and critically praised recording artist and concert performer in the 2010s. He has won 19 Grammy Awards (including a Lifetime Achievement Award, presented in 2001) and two Emmy Awards, and was named an NEA Jazz Master and a Kennedy Center Honoree. Krall is the only jazz singer to have had eight albums debuting at the top of the Billboard Jazz Albums. To date, she has won three Grammy Awards and eight Juno Awards. She has also earned nine gold, three platinum, and seven multi-platinum albums.]]
[Tony Bennett:]
The more I read the papers
The less I comprehend
The world and all its capers
And how it all will end

[Diana Krall:]
Nothing seems to be lasting
But that isn't our affair

[Tony Bennett:]
We've got something permanent
I mean in the way we care

It's very clear
Our love is here to stay
Not for a year
But ever and a day

The radio and the telephone
And the movies that we know
May just be passing fancies
And in time may go

But oh, my dear
Our love is here to stay
Together we're
Going a long, long way

In time the Rockies may crumble
Gibraltar may tumble
They're only made of clay
But...
Our love is here to stay

[Diana Krall:]
It's very clear
Our love is here to stay
Not for a year

The radio and the telephone

Our love is here to stay
Together we're
Going a long, long way

But...

Someday, when I'm awfully low
When the world is cold
I will feel a glow, just thinking of you
And the way you look tonight

Oh, but your lovely
With your smile so warm
And your cheeks so soft
There is nothing for me, but to love you
Just the way you look tonight

With each word your tenderness grows
Tearing my fear apart
And that laugh
That wrinkles your nose
Touches my foolish heart

Lovely, never, never change
Keep that breathless charm
Won't you please arrange it
Because I, I love you
Just the way you look tonight.

COMPOSITORES: CHICO BUARQUE DE HOLANDA & AUGUSTO BOAL
PAÍS: BRASIL
ÁLBUM: BANDIDO(LP)
GRAVADORA: CONTINENTAL
GÊNERO: MPB
ANO: 1976

Elas tecem longos bordados
Mil quarentenas
E quando eles voltam, sedentos
Querem arrancar, violentos
Carícias plenas, obscenas

Mirem-se no exemplo
Daquelas mulheres de Atenas
Despem-se pros maridos
Bravos guerreiros de Atenas

Quando eles se entopem de vinho
Costumam buscar um carinho
De outras falenas
Mas no fim da noite, aos pedaços
Quase sempre voltam pros braços
De suas pequenas, Helenas

Mirem-se no exemplo
Daquelas mulheres de Atenas:
Geram pros seus maridos
Os novos filhos de Atenas

Elas não têm gosto ou vontade
Nem defeito, nem qualidade
Têm medo apenas
Não tem sonhos, só tem presságios
O seu homem, mares, naufrágios
Lindas sirenas, morenas

Mirem-se no exemplo
Daquelas mulheres de Atenas
Temem por seus maridos
Heróis e amantes de Atenas

As jovens viúvas marcadas
E as gestantes abandonadas
Não fazem cenas
Vestem-se de negro, se encolhem
Se conformam e se recolhem
Às suas novenas, serenas

Mirem-se no exemplo
Daquelas mulheres de Atenas
Secam por seus maridos
Orgulho e raça de Atenas.
