"I Finally Found Someone" is a song duet from 1996 with Canadian artist Bryan Adams and American artist Barbra Streisand. The song was part of the soundtrack of Streisand's self-directed movie The Mirror Has Two Faces and was nominated for an Oscar. Several versions of a CD single were issued on its initial release. One contains a rare Spanish-language version of her 1976 song "Evergreen", as well as Adams' previous single "Let's Make a Night to Remember". Another version includes three solo recordings by Adams from his most recent album.
"I Finally Found Someone" reached No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 2 on the Billboard Hot Adult Contemporary chart. The song gave Streisand her first significant hit in almost a decade and her first top-ten hit on the Hot 100 (and first gold single) since 1981. The song was included on several reissues of Adams' album, 18 Til I Die. The single was also successful in several other countries, reaching No. 1 in Ireland, No. 2 in Australia, No. 6 in New Zealand and No. 18 in Adams' native Canada.
I finally found someone, that knocks me off my feet
I finally found the one, that makes me feel complete
We started over coffee, we started out as friends
It's funny how from simple things, the best things begin

This time it's different
It's all because of you
It's better than it's ever been
'Cause we can talk it through
Oohh, my favorite line was: Can I call you sometime?
It's all you had to say to take my breath away

This is it, oh, I finally found someone
Someone to share my life
I finally found the one, to be with every night
'Cause whatever I do, it's just got to be you
My life has just begun
I finally found someone, ooh, someone
I finally found someone, oooh

Did I keep you waiting, I didn't mind
I apologize, baby, that's fine
I would wait forever just to know you were mine
And I love your hair, sure it looks fine
I love what you wear, isn't it the time?
You're exceptional, I can't wait for the rest of my life

Whatever I do, it's just got to be you
My life has just begun
I finally found someone.

Toto Cutugno all'anagrafe Salvatore Cutugno (Tendola, 7 luglio 1943) è un cantautore, compositore, paroliere e conduttore televisivo italiano.

Soli
la pelle come un vestito
soli
nel cuore guarda chi c'e': io e te
soli
le briciole nel letto
soli
ma stretti un po' di piu'
solo io, solo tu

DEAN MARTIN
SONGWRITERS: RICHARD RODGERS & LORENZ HART
COUNTRY: u.S.A.
ALBUM: DREAM WITH DEAN
LABEL: REPRISE
GENRE: POP
YEAR: 1964

Dream with Dean is a 1964 studio album by Dean Martin, produced by Jimmy Bowen.
This was the first of two albums that Martin released in 1964. Dream with Dean peaked at 15 on the Billboard 200. The album features "Everybody Loves Somebody" with a quartet accompaniment, Martin was to re-record the song with strings later in 1964, and it would become his second single to top the Billboard Hot 100.
The initial Billboard review from 22 August 1964 praised the selection of material on the album and wrote that "As long as the performer is Dean Martin, you've got to see the words "sales" and "airplay" light up".
Joe Viglione on Allmusic.com gave the album three stars out of five. Viglione said that if the album had "one drawback, it is that the 12 songs are incessant in their providing the same atmosphere...not only a very pleasant listening experience, it shows what a tremendous vocalist Dean Martin truly was". Vigilone describes Martin as performing as if "he were a lounge singer at 1:15 a.m. as the Saturday night crowd is dwindling".
Dean Martin(born Dino Paul Crocetti; June 7, 1917 – December 25, 1995) was an American actor, singer and comedian. One of the most popular and enduring American entertainers of the mid-20th century, Martin was nicknamed "The King of Cool" for his seemingly effortless charisma and self-assurance.
Martin gained his career breakthrough together with fellow comedian Jerry Lewis, billed as Martin & Lewis, in 1946. They performed in nightclubs and later had numerous appearances on radio, television and in films. Following an acrimonious ending of the partnership in 1956, Martin pursued a solo career as a performer and actor.
Martin established himself as a notable singer, recording numerous contemporary songs as well as standards from the Great American Songbook. He became one of the most popular acts in Las Vegas and was known for his friendship with fellow artists Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr., who together formed the Rat Pack.
Starting in 1964, Martin was the host of the television variety program The Dean Martin Show, which centred on Martin's singing talents and was characterized by his relaxed, easy-going demeanour. From 1974 to 1984 he was roastmaster on the popular Dean Martin Celebrity Roast, which drew notable celebrities, comedians and politicians.
Throughout his career, Martin performed in concert stages, nightclubs, audio recordings and appeared in 85 film and television productions. His relaxed, warbling, crooning voice earned him dozens of hit singles, including his signature songs "Memories Are Made of This", "That's Amore", "Everybody Loves Somebody", "You're Nobody till Somebody Loves You", "Sway", "Ain't That a Kick in the Head?" and "Volare".
Blue moon, you saw me standing alone
Without a dream in my heart without a love of my own
Blue moon, you knew just what I was there for
You heard me saying a prayer for someone I really could care for

And then there suddenly appeared before me
The only one my arms could ever hold
I heard somebody whisper please adore me
When I looked to the moon it turned to gold

Blue moon, now I'm no longer alone
Without a dream in my heart without a love of my own

And then there suddenly appeared before me
The only one my arms will ever hold
I heard somebody whisper please adore me
And when I looked the moon had turned to gold

Blue moon, now I'm no longer alone
Without a dream in my heart without a love of my own
Without a love of my own without a love of my own.

COMPOSITEUR: SALVATORE “TOTO” CUTUGNO; VERSIÓN: PIERRE DELANOË & CLAUDE LE MESLE
PAYS: FRANCO-AMERICAINE
ALBUM: LE COSTUME BLANC
RECORD: CBS DISQUES
GENRE: CHANSON
ANNÉE: 1975

Salut is a song performed by Joe Dassin from his 1975 album Joe Dassin (Le Costume blanc)(CBS 81147).
It was also released as a single, in 1976 with "Et si tu n'existais pas" on the other side.
It is a French adaptation, par Pierre Delanoë and Claude Lemesle, of an Italian song, "Uomo dove vai" (by Toto Cutugno).
It is one of the most famous songs by Joe Dassin.
Salut! C'est encore moi!
Salut, c'est encore moi!
Salut, comment tu vas?
Le temps m'a paru très long
Loin de la maison j'ai pensé à toi

J'ai un peu trop navigué
Et je me sens fatigué
Fais-moi un bon café
J'ai une histoire à te raconter

Il était une fois quelqu'un
Quelqu'un que tu connais bien
Il est parti très loin
Il s'est perdu
Il est revenu

Salut, c'est encore moi!
Salut, comment tu vas?
Le temps m'a paru très long
Loin de la maison j'ai pensé à toi
Bababa ban ban ban

Tu sais, j'ai beaucoup changé
Je m'étais fait des idées
Sur toi, sur moi, sur nous
Des idées folles, mais j'étais fou
Tu n'as plus rien à me dire
Je ne suis qu'un souvenir
Peut-être pas trop mauvais
Jamais plus je ne te dirai

Salut, c'est encore moi!
Salut, comment tu vas?
Le temps m'a paru très long
Loin de la maison j'ai pensé à toi
Bababa.
