O meu primeiro amor,
o meu primeiro amor
Demorei, mas encontrei o meu primeiro amor
Para mim tudo na vida agora tem valor
O meu primeiro amor,
o meu primeiro amor
Como é bom a gente ter
Na vida alguém prá amar
Tudo agora é tão lindo
Eu vivo a cantar
O meu primeiro amor
que eu tanto quiz, enfim,
chegou prá mim
Foi só no primeiro olhar
e eu senti então,
senti então,
bateu forte como nunca o meu coração
O meu primeiro amor,
o meu primeiro amor,
chegou prá mim
Foi só no primeiro olhar
e eu senti então,
senti então,
bateu forte como nunca o meu coração
Demorei, mas encontrei o meu primeiro amor
Para mim tudo na vida agora tem valor
O meu primeiro amor,
o meu primeiro amor,
chegou prá mim prá mim.

There must have been an angel by my side
Something heavenly led me to you
Look at the sky
It's the color of love
There must have been an angel by my side
Something heavenly came down from above
He led me to you
He led me to you
He built a bridge to your heart
All the way
How many tons of love inside
I can't say

When I was led to you
I knew you were the one for me
I swear the whole world could feel my heartbeat
When I lay eyes on you
Ay ay ay
You wrapped me up in
The color of love

You gave me the kiss of life
Kiss of Life
You gave me the kiss that's like
The kiss of life

Wasn't it clear from the start
Look the sky is full of love
Yeah the sky is full of love
He built a bridge to your heart
All the way
How many tons of love inside
I can't say

You gave me the kiss of life
Kiss of Life
You gave me the kiss that's like
The kiss of life

You gave me the kiss of life
Kiss of Life
You gave me the kiss that's like
The kiss of life

You gave me the kiss of life
Kiss of Life
You gave me the kiss that's like
The kiss of life

You wrapped me up in the color of love
Must have been an angel come down from above
Giving me love yeah
Giving me love yeah

You gave me the kiss of life
Kiss of Life
You gave me the kiss of life
The kiss of life.
LITTLE GREEN APPLES
DEAN MARTIN
SONGWRITER: RUSSELL ROBERT L BOBBY
COUNTRY: U. S. A.
ÁLBUM: I TAKE A LOT OF PRIDE IN WHAT I AM
LABEL: reprise
GENRE: traditional pop
YEAR: 1969

I Take a Lot of Pride in What I Am is a 1969 studio album by Dean Martin arranged by Glen Hardin and Jimmie Haskell.
Martin recorded very little in 1969, only devoting two three-hour sessions in the Spring to record this album. I Take a Lot of Pride in What I Am peaked at 90 on the Billboard 200.
Dean Martin(born Dino Paul Crocetti; June 7, 1917 – December 25, 1995) was an American actor, singer and comedian. One of the most popular and enduring American entertainers of the mid-20th century, Martin was nicknamed "The King of Cool" for his seemingly effortless charisma and self-assurance.
Martin gained his career breakthrough together with fellow comedian Jerry Lewis, billed as Martin & Lewis, in 1946. They performed in nightclubs and later had numerous appearances on radio, television and in films. Following an acrimonious ending of the partnership in 1956, Martin pursued a solo career as a performer and actor.
Martin established himself as a notable singer, recording numerous contemporary songs as well as standards from the Great American Songbook. He became one of the most popular acts in Las Vegas and was known for his friendship with fellow artists Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr., who together formed the Rat Pack.
Starting in 1964, Martin was the host of the television variety program The Dean Martin Show, which centred on Martin's singing talents and was characterized by his relaxed, easy-going demeanour. From 1974 to 1984 he was roastmaster on the popular Dean Martin Celebrity Roast, which drew notable celebrities, comedians and politicians.
Throughout his career, Martin performed in concert stages, nightclubs, audio recordings and appeared in 85 film and television productions. His relaxed, warbling, crooning voice earned him dozens of hit singles, including his signature songs "Memories Are Made of This", "That's Amore", "Everybody Loves Somebody", "You're Nobody till Somebody Loves You", "Sway", "Ain't That a Kick in the Head?" and "Volare".
And I wake up in the morning
With my hair down in my eyes and she says hi
And I stumble to the breakfast table
While the kids are gonna to school goodbye
She reaches out and takes my hand
And squeezes it and says how you feeling hon
And I look across at smiling lips
That warm my heart and see my morning sun

And if that's not lovin' me then all I've got to say God didn't make little green apples
And it don't rain in Indianapolis in the summertime
There's no such thing as Doctor Suess
Disneyland or Mother Goose is no nursery rhyme
God didn't make little green apples
And it don't rain in Indianapolis in the summertime
And when myself is feelin' low
I think about her face aglow and ease my mind

Sometimes I call her up at home knowing she's busy
And ask if she could get away and meet me and grab a bite to eat
Then she drops what she's doin' and hurries down to meet me and I'm always late
But she sits waitin' patiently
And smiles when she first sees me cause she's made that way

And if that ain't lovin' me then all I've got to say
God didn't make little green apples
It don't snow in Minneapolis when the winter comes
There's no such thing as make believe
Puppy dogs and autumn leaves and BB guns
God didn't make little green apples
And it don't rain in Indianapolis in the summertime
When myself is feelin' low
I think about her face aglow and ease my mind
To ease my mind to ease my mind.
AIN'T NOBODY
CHAKA KHAN
SONGWRITER: DAVID HAWK WOLINSKI
COUNTRY: U.S.A.
ALBUM: STOMPIN’ AT THE SAVOY
LABEL: WARNER BROS
GENRE: R & B
YEAR: 1983

"Ain't Nobody" is a song by American funk band Rufus and American singer Chaka Khan. It was released on November 4, 1983, as a bonus track for their live album Stompin' at the Savoy(1983). "Ain't Nobody" quickly gathered popularity, and reached number one on the US Billboard R&B chart and number 22 on the US Billboard Hot 100. It has become one of Khan's signature songs.
Rufus keyboardist David "Hawk" Wolinski wrote the song around a repeating synthesizer loop backed by a Linn LM-1 drum computer; however, John J. R. Robinson, the band's drummer, played real drums for the recording session. The band did a democratic vote and they decided to include the song in their album repertoire. Once the song was recorded, Warner executives wanted to issue another song as the album's first single. Wolinski threatened to give the song to American singer Michael Jackson and American producer Quincy Jones for Jackson's album Thriller if the song was not the lead-off single. The label relented and "Ain't Nobody" was issued and hit number one on the R&B chart for the week ending October 15, 1983.
The song was also included on the soundtrack album to the 1984 film Breakin'.
The song was adopted in the United Kingdom by fans of some of the country's soccer clubs, with the words: Ain't nobody loves (player), makes me happy, makes me feel this way. Teams include Fulham(Tom Cairney), Nottingham Forest(Joe Lolley), Arsenal(Laurent Koscielny), Wales (Joe Ledley) and West Ham(Manuel Lanzini).
Captured effortlessly
That's the way it was
Happened so naturally
I did not know it was love
The next thing I felt was
You holding me close
What was I gonna do?
I let myself go

And now we're flying through the stars
I hope this night will last forever

I've been waiting for you
It's been so long
I knew just what I would do
When I heard your song
Filled my heart with your bliss
Gave me freedom
You knew I could not resist
I needed someone

And now we're flying through the stars
I hope this night will last forever
Oh oh oh oh

Ain't nobody
Loves me better
Makes me happy
Makes me feel this way
Ain't nobody
Loves me better than you

I wait for night time to come
And bring you to me
Can't believe I'm the one
I was so lonely
I feel like no one could feel
I must be dreaming
I want this dream to be real
I need this feeling

I make my wish upon a star
And hope this night will last forever

And first you put your arms around me
Then you put your charms around me
I can't resist this sweet surrender
Oh my nights are warm and tender
We stare into each other's eyes
And what we see is no surprise
Got a feeling most with treasure
And a love so deep we cannot measure.
