Where is the sun?
You're numb and dumb
Please I need the seeds of change
It’s wearing a new dream
It's ripping at the seams
I've come undone
And there is one place left to run and that is

Never let yourself give in
When you're trying to start again
Put on your dreams and let’s go

I've come so far and gone so low
I've fallen in decay
Always try to find a way out and up to better days
Are waiting for me
And I will come dressed up in dreams

Never let yourself give in
When you're trying to start again
Put on your dreams and let’s go

I won't give up at all
I want the freedom to dream the impossible
I will make it real.

"Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me" is a song written by English Singer Elton John and his lyricist Bernie Taupin. It was originally recorded in 1974 by Elton John for his studio álbum Caribou and was released as a single that peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and reached number 16 on the UK Singles Chart. The song found further success in 1991 in a live cover version recorded as a duet between John and George Michael, which reached number one in the UK and US.
Ladies & Gentlemen: The Best of George Michael is a greatest hits album by George Michael, released on 9 November 1998.
The collection of 28 songs (29 songs are included on the European and Australian release) are separated into two halves, with each CD of the double set containing music of a particular theme and mood. The first CD, titled "For the Heart", predominantly contains Michael's hit ballads, while the second CD, "For the Feet", comprises mostly his popular dance tunes.
Ladies & Gentlemen is notable for containing a large number of compilation tracks and duets that have not previously appeared on a George Michael album, including his US and UK number-one duet with Aretha Franklin, "I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me)", previously available on Franklin's 1986 album Aretha; "Desafinado", the duet in Portuguese with Brazilian singer Astrud Gilberto; and the Elton John duet "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me", from John's 1993 album Duets.
Ladies & Gentlemen was released by Sony Music Entertainment as a condition of Michael severing his contractual ties with the label amid a great deal of acrimony and publicity prior to the release of Older in 1996. However, singles from Older do appear on this compilation. Michael would later return to Sony to release his 2004 album Patience.
After his death in December 2016, it was revealed by Michael's friend Geri Halliwell on The One Show that all of the British profits from the album went to the charity Terrence Higgins Trust.
George Michael(born Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou; 25 June 1963 – 25 December 2016) was an English singer, songwriter, record producer, and philanthropist who rose to fame as a member of the music duo Wham! and later embarked on a solo career. Michael's first solo single "Careless Whisper" reached number one in over 20 countries, including the UK and US. Michael's debut solo album, Faith, was released in 1987, topping the UK Albums Chart and staying at number one on the Billboard 200 for 12 weeks. Four singles from the album--"Faith", "Father Figure", "One More Try", and "Monkey"--reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Faith was named Album of the Year at the 31st Grammy Awards. Three years after the release of Faith, Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1(1990) was released; that album included the Billboard Hot 100 number one "Praying for Time". "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me", a 1991 duet with Elton John, was also a transatlantic number one.
Michael, Who came out as gay in 1998, was an active LGBT rights campaigner and HIV/AIDS charity fundraiser. Michael's personal life and legal troubles made headlines during the late 1990s and 2000s, as he was arrested for public lewdness in 1998 and was arrested for multiple drug-related offenses after that time. The 2005 documentary A Different Story covered his career and personal life. Michael's first tour since 1991, the 25 Live tour, spanned three tours over the course of three years; 2006, 2007, and 2008. Four years later, he performed his final concert at London's Earls Court in 2012. In the early hours of 25 December 2016, Michael was found dead at his home in Goring-on-Thames, Oxfordshire aged 53. A coroner's report attributed his death to natural causes.

In 2008, he was ranked 40th on Billboard's list of the Greatest Hot 100 Artists of All Time.
I can't light no more of your darkness
All my pictures seem to fade to black and white
I'm growing tired and time stands still before me
Frozen here on the ladder of my life

It's much too late to save myself from falling
I took a chance and changed your way of life
But you misread my meaning when I met you
Closed the door and left me blinded by the light

Don't let the Sun go down on me
Although I search myself, it's always someone else I see
I'd just allow a fragment of your life to wander free
But losing everything is like the Sun going down on me

I can't find, oh the right romantic line
But see me once and see the way I feel
Don't discard me just because you think I mean you harm
But these cuts I have they need love to help them heal

Don't let the Sun go down on me
Although I search myself, it's always someone else I see
I'd just allow a fragment of your life to wander free
But losing everything is like the Sun going down on me.

Io voglio per me le tue carezze
Si, io t'amo piu' della mia vita!
Ritornero' in ginocchio da te
L'altra non e' niente per me
Ora lo so
Ho sbagliato con te
Ritornero' in ginocchio da te
E bacero' le tue mani amor
Negli occhi tuoi
Che hanno pianto per me
Io cerchero'
Il perdono da te
E bacero' le tue mani amor
Io voglio per me le tue carezze
Si, io t'amo piu' della mia vita!
(Per finire)
Io voglio per me le tue carezze
Si, io t'amo piu' della mia vita!

GENERE: POP ROCK
ANNO: 2003

sente vibrazioni sconosciute
e vuole mettertele in piazza
senza parole.
Poi racconta di un amore mai vissuto
e quando sogna non ha nome e non ha età
e vive con lo sguardo incuriosito
di una misteriosa razza
senza colore.

Vedi che gente allegra
che tiene il tempo con le mani,
che tiene il mondo tra le mani
e poi regala l'immaginazione a te.

Rotaie - oltre la linea di confine,
rotaie - fosforescenti nella scia,
rotaie - inargentate dalla brina,
e domattina

e poi ti accendi.

Vedi che gente strana
che alza nel cielo le sue mani,
si stringe forte con le mani
e poi regala un altro desiderio a te.

Rotaie - oltre la linea di confine,
rotaie - fosforescenti nella scia,
rotaie - inargentate dalla brina,
e domattina
ti pianterò nel cuore una canzone.

Il musicista prende, archivia,
muore e rinasce,
si innamora di sè e poi vola, vola.

Rotaie - oltre la linea di confine,
rotaie - fosforescenti nella scia,
rotaie - inargentate dalla brina,
e domattina
ti pianterò nel cuore una canzone,
ti pianterò nel cuore una canzone,
ti pianterò nel cuore una canzone.
