Psychiatrists
and Lawyers destroying mankind
Drivin' 'em crazy...and stealing 'em blind
Bankers and Brokers ruling the world
Storing the silver and hoarding the gold
Ain't no use in preachers preaching
When they don't know what they're teaching
The weakest man be strong as Samson
When you're being held to ransom
Famine and hardship in true living colour
Constant reminders...the plight of our brother
Daily starvation our diet of news
Fed to the teeth with a barrage of views
Ain't no use in preachers preaching
When they don't know what they're teaching
The weakest man be strong as Samson
When you're being held to ransom
Black men and white men, and Arabs and Jews
Causing congestion and filling the queues
Fighting for freedom the truth and the word
Fighting the war for the end of the world
Ain't no use in preachers preaching
When they don't know what they're teaching
Weakest man be strong as Samson
When you're being held to ransom.

Heart over mind, yes I'm
My father's son
I live my life, just like
My father's done
If he'd told me, one day
That somebody'd have my heart in chains
Would I believe it, no way
Made up my mind I'd never fall that way
But tell me why
Everytime I try, to tell you it's goodbye
I can't seem to let go
In my heart I know I want to stay
What I'm trying to say
heart over mind
Yes I'm my father's son
Yes I'm inclined to do
As my fathers done
Here I am with you
And I know that it's true
Despite all the feelings
Your putting me through
I try to alk away, something makes me stay
Heart over mind, yes I'm
My father's son
I live my life, just like
My father's done
But tell me why
Everytime I try, to tell you it's goodbye
I can't seem to let go
In my heart, I know I want to stay, never run away
My father's son
I live my life, as my father's done
If he'd told me, one day
That somebody would have my heart in
Chains would I believe it, no way
Made up my mind, I'd never fall that way
But it's heart over mind, yes I'm my father's son.

We gotta move these refrigerators
We gotta move these colour TV's
See the little faggot with the earring and the make-up
Yeah, buddy, that's his own hair
That little faggot got his own jet airplane
That little faggot he's a millionaire

We

Custom kitchens deliveries
We gotta move these refrigerators
We gotta move these colour TV's

Man, we could have some fun
And he's up there, what's that? Hawaiian noises?
Bangin' on the bongoes like a chimpanzee

Van Halen
(/væn ˈheɪlɛn/van HAY-len)
is an American rockband formed in Pasadena,
Californiain 1972. Credited with
"restoring hard rock to the forefront of the music scene", Van Halen
is known for its energetic live shows and for the work of its acclaimed lead
guitarist, Eddie Van Halen. The
band was inducted into the Rock and Roll
Hall of Famein 2007.
From 1974
until 1985, Van Halen consisted of Eddie Van Halen; Eddie's brother, drummer Alex Van Halen;
vocalist David Lee Roth; and
bassist Michael
Anthony. Upon its release, the band's self-titled debut albumreached No. 19 on the Billboardpop music charts. By the early 1980s, Van Halen was one of the most
successful rock acts of the time. The album 1984was a hit; its lead single, "Jump",
is the band's only U.S. number one single to date and was internationally
known.
In 1985,
Van Halen replaced Roth with former Montroselead vocalist Sammy Hagar.
With Hagar, the group released four U.S. number-one albums over the course of
11 years (5150in 1986, OU812in 1988, in 1991,
and Balancein 1995). Hagar left the band in 1996 shortly before the release of
the band's first greatest hits collection, Best
Of – Volume I. Former Extremefrontman Gary Cheronereplaced
Hagar, remaining with the band until 1999; Van Halen then went on hiatus until
reuniting with Hagar for a worldwide tour in 2003. The following year, the band
released The Best of Both Worlds, its
second greatest hits collection. Hagar again left Van Halen in 2005; in 2006, Roth
returned as lead vocalist. Anthony was fired from the band
in 2006 and was replaced on bass guitar by Wolfgang Van Halen,
Eddie's son. In 2012, the band released the commercially and critically
successful A Different
Kind of Truth.
As of
March 2019, Van Halen is 20th on the RIAAlist of
best-selling artists in the United States; the band has sold 56 million albums
in the States and more than 80 million worldwide, making them one of the best-selling
groups of all time. As of 2007, Van Halen was one
of only five rock bands with two studio albums that sold more than 10 million
copies in the United States. Additionally, Van Halen has charted 13 number-one
hits on Billboard's Mainstream
Rockchart. VH1 ranked the band seventh on a
list of the top 100 hard rock artists of all time.
"Jump"
is a song by American hard rockband Van Halen. It was
released in December 1983 as the lead single from their álbum 1984.
It is Van Halen's most successful single to date, reaching number 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The
song differs from earlier Van Halen songs in that it is driven by a keyboardline (played on
an Oberheim OB-Xa)
although the song does contain a guitar solo,
which was spliced together from multiple takes. David Lee Rothdedicated the song to martial artist Benny "The Jet" Urquidez,
of whom he was a student.
It is
played before the start of each home game of Olympique de
Marseilleand Brøndby IF. As part
of the goal celebrationsit is also played every time A.C. Milanscores a goal at their home ground, San Siro.
The
original Winnipeg Jetsof the National
Hockey Leagueplayed "Jump" on the arena
PA system as the team came onto the ice. They used the song until the team's departure for
Phoenix after the 1995–96 season. On the team's return in 2011, public
outcry for use of the song initially was ignored, as the team's management
company True North
Sports and Entertainmentwished to
create a break with the past, considering the previous Jets a different
organization from the new Jets (the former Atlanta Thrashers).
However, in 2016 True North resumed the use of "Jump", this time as
the team's goal songwhenever
the Jets score a goal at Bell MTS Place.
"Jump"
was the theme song for the introduction of Chicago Cubsbroadcasts on WGN-TVin 1984 and 1985
I get
up, and nothin' gets me down
You got it tough, I've seen the toughest around
And I know, baby, just how you feel
You got to roll with the punches and get to what's
real
