WHAT HAPPENS TOMORROW

DURAN DURAN
SONGWRITER: DURAN DURAN
COUNTRY: U. K.
ALBUM: ASTRONAUT
LABEL: EPIC RECORDS
GENRE: ROCK
YEAR: 2005

"What Happens Tomorrow" is a song by British pop rock band Duran Duran and is featured on their 2004 album, Astronaut. It was released in January 2005 as the second single from that album, and the band's thirty-third single overall. The single debuted at number 11 in the UK Singles Chart on 6 February 2005 and was the second single from the album to peak at number two in Italy. It became a minor hit in Flanders, Germany, Ireland, and Romania.
Duran Duran (/djʊˌræn djʊˈræn/) are an English new wave band formed in Birmingham in 1978. The group were a leading band in the MTV-driven Second British Invasion of the US in the 1980s. The group was formed by keyboardist Nick Rhodes and bassist John Taylor, with the later addition of drummer Roger Taylor, and after numerous personnel changes, guitarist Andy Taylor (none of the Taylors are related) and lead singer Simon Le Bon. These five members featured the most commercially successful line-up.
When Duran Duran emerged they were generally considered part of the New Romantic scene, along with bands such as Spandau Ballet and Visage. However, the band would soon shed this image by using fashion and marketing to build a more refined and elegant presentation. The video age catapulted Duran Duran into the mainstream with the introduction of the 24-hour music channel MTV. Many of their videos were shot on 35 mm film, which gave a much more polished look than was standard at the time. They also collaborated with professional film directors to take the quality a step further, often teaming up with Australian director Russell Mulcahy for some of their most memorable video offerings. In 1984, the band were early innovators with video technology in their live stadium shows. The band were one of the most successful acts of the 1980s, though by the end of the decade, membership and music style changes challenged the band before a resurgence in the early 1990s.
The group have never disbanded, but after the departures of Andy and Roger Taylor in 1986, the line-up has changed to include former Missing Persons American guitarist Warren Cuccurullo from 1989 to 2001 and American drummer Sterling Campbell from 1989 to 1991. The reunion of the original five members in the early 2000s created a stir among the band's fans and music media. Andy Taylor left the band once again in mid-2006, and guitarist Dominic Brown has since been working with the band as a session player and touring member.
Duran Duran have sold over 100 million records worldwide, making them one of the world's best-selling music artists. They achieved 14 singles in the top 10 of the UK Singles Chart and 21 in the US Billboard Hot 100. The band have won numerous awards throughout their career: two Brit Awards including the 2004 award for Outstanding Contribution to Music, two Grammy Awards, an MTV Video Music Award for Lifetime Achievement, and a Video Visionary Award from the MTV Europe Music Awards. They were also awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Child, don't you worry
It's enough you're growing up in such a hurry
Brings you down the news they sell you
To put in your mind that all mankind is a failure
But nobody knows what's gonna happen tomorrow
We try not to show how frightened we are

If you let me i'll protect you however i can
You've got to believe it'll be alright in the end
You've got to believe it'll be alright again (again)

Fighting because we're so close
There are times we punish those who we need the most
No we can't wait for a saviour
Only got ourselves to blame for this behaviour

And nobody knows (nobody knows...) What's gonna happen tomorrow
We try not to show how frightened we are
It would seem lonely
If you were the only star in the night?

You've got to believe it'll be alright in the end
you've got to believe it'll be alright again

And nobody knows what's gonna happen tomorrow (nobody knows…)
So don't let go, now we've come this far

Hold my hand please, understand me
You'll never alone…
We've got to believe it'll be alright in the end (nobody knows...)
You've got to believe it'll be alright my friend (so don't let go…)
And yes we believe it'll be alright again (so don't let go…)

The group as of now consists of a trio of Dave Gahan (lead vocals and co-songwriting), Martin Gore (keyboards, guitar, co-lead vocals and main songwriting), and Andy Fletcher (keyboards).
Depeche Mode released their debut álbum Speak & Spell in 1981, bringing the band onto the British new wave scene. Founding member Vince Clarke left after the release of the album; they recorded A Broken Frame as a trio. Gore took over as main songwriter and, later in 1982, Alan Wilder replaced Clarke, establishing a lineup that continued for 13 years.
The band's last albums of the 1980s, Black Celebration and Music for the Masses, established them as a dominant force within the electronic music scene. A highlight of this era was the band's June 1988 concert at the Pasadena Rose Bowl, where they drew a crowd in excess of 60,000 people. In early 1990, they released Violator, an international mainstream success. The following album, Songs of Faith and Devotion, released in 1993, was also a success, though internal struggles within the band during recording and touring resulted in Wilder's departure in 1995.
Depeche Mode have had 54 songs in the UK Singles Chart and 17 top 10 albums in the UK chart; they have sold more than 100 million records worldwide. Q included the band in the list of the "50 Bands That Changed the World!". Depeche Mode also ranks number 98 on VH1's "100 Greatest Artists of All Time". In December 2016, Billboard named Depeche Mode the 10th most successful dance club artist of all time. They were nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017 and 2018, and will be inducted as part of the Class of 2020.

Precious and fragile things
Need special handling
My God, what have we done to you?

We always tried to share
The tenderest of care
Now look what we have put you through

Things get damaged
Things get broken
I thought we'd manage
But words left unspoken
Left us so brittle
There was so little left to give

Angels with silver wings
Shouldn't know suffering
I wish I could take the pain for you

If God has a masterplan
That only he understands
I hope it's your eyes he's seeing through

Things get damaged
Things get broken
I thought we'd manage
But words left unspoken
Left us so brittle
There was so little left to give

I pray you learn to trust
Have faith in both of us
And keep room in your heart for two

Things get damaged
Things get broken
I thought we'd manage
But words left unspoken
Left us so brittle
There was so little left to give.

Cara come sei tu dolce
Sempre di piu' per quello
Che mi dai io ti
Ringrazierei ma poi
Non so parlare

E' piu' vicino
Il tuo profumo
Stringiti forte a me
Non chiederti perche'
La sera scende gia'
La notte impazziro'
In fondo agli occhi
Tuoi bruciano i miei

Un amore cosi' grande
Un amore cosi' tanto
Caldo dentro e
Fuori intorno a noi
Un silenzio breve e poi

La bocca tua
Si accende un' altra volta
Un amore cosi' grande
Un amore cosi' tanto
Caldo dentro e
Fuori intorno a noi
Un silenzio breve e poi
In fondo agli occhi tuoi
Bruciano i miei

La sera scende gia'
La notte impazziro'
In fondo agli occhi tuoi
Bruciano i miei
Un amore cosi' grande
Un amore cosi' tanto
Ccaldo dentro e
Fuori intorno a noi

Un silenzio breve e
Poi la bocca tua
Si accende
Si accende un'altra volta
E poi la bocca tua
Si accende
Si accende un'altra
Volta per me

OneRepublic is an American pop rock band formed in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in 2002. It consists of lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Ryan Tedder, guitarist Zach Filkins, guitarist Drew Brown, bassist and cellist Brent Kutzle, drummer Eddie Fisher and keyboardist Brian Willett. The band first achieved commercial success on Myspace as an unsigned act. In late 2002, after OneRepublic played shows throughout the Los Angeles area, several record labels approached the band with interest, but the band ultimately signed with Velvet Hammer, an imprint of Columbia Records. They made their first album with producer Greg Wells during the summer and fall of 2005 at his studio, Rocket Carousel, in Culver City, California. The album was originally scheduled for release on June 6, 2006, but the group was dropped by Columbia two months before the album came out. The lead single of that album, "Apologize", was released on April 30, 2006, on Myspace and received some recognition there, becoming number one on the Myspace charts.
In 2007, OneRepublic released their debut album, Dreaming Out Loud. Its lead single, "Apologize", was remixed by Timbaland, becoming a huge international success, reaching number one in sixteen countries and subsequently earning them a Grammy Award nomination. The second single, "Stop and Stare", mirrored its predecessor's success. The album was later certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The band's second album, Waking Up (2009), produced the singles "All the Right Moves", "Secrets", "Marchin On", and "Good Life", with the latter reaching the top ten of the US Billboard Hot 100.
OneRepublic's third album, Native (2013), became the band's first top ten album on the Billboard 200, and highest-charting album to date, charting at number four. The lead single, "If I Lose Myself", charted within the top ten in several countries, while the album's third single, "Counting Stars", became the band's most successful single in recent years, obtaining top-five placements in Australia, Canada, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, the U.S., and the UK. This marks their highest charting single in the United Kingdom to date. It has also peaked at number 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100, matching their highest peak of "Apologize" in 2007.
On October 7, 2016, OneRepublic released Oh My My, their fourth studio album, which featured a number of collaborators, including Cassius, Peter Gabriel, and Santigold. Preceded by the singles "Wherever I Go", released on May 13, 2016, and "Kids", released on August 12, 2016, it was recognized as a change in their sound in contrast to previous albums by both critics and the band itself. In 2017, the band released the singles "No Vacancy", "Truth to Power", "Stranger Things" with Kygo and "Rich Love" with Seeb. To date, the band has sold approximately over 16 million records worldwide.
"Love Runs Out" is a song recorded by American pop rock band OneRepublic for the 2014 reissue of their third studio album Native (2013). It was produced by Ryan Tedder, who co-wrote the song with Brent Kutzle, Drew Brown, Zach Filkins, and Eddie Fisher. The song was digitally released in Australia on April 14, 2014, and was serviced to contemporary hit radio in the United States on May 6 as the fifth overall single from the album.
"Love Runs Out" was also one of the official theme songs of WrestleMania 35.

I'll be your light, your match, your burning sun
I'll be the bright, in black that's making you run
And we'll feel alright
And we'll feel alright
'Cause we'll work it out
Yeah, we'll work it out
I'll be doing this, if you ever doubt
'Till the love runs out
'Till the love runs out

I'll be your ghost, your game, your stadium
I'll be your fifty-thousand clapping like one
And I feel alright
And I feel alright
'Cuz' I worked it out
Yeah, I worked it out
I'll be doing this, if you ever doubt
'Till the love runs out
'Till the love runs out

I got my mind made up
Man, I can't let go
I'm killing every second till it saves my soul
Ooh, I'll be running
Ooh, I'll be running
'Till the love runs out
'Till the love runs out
And we'll start a fire
And we'll shut it down
'Till the love runs out
'Till the love runs out

There's a maniac out in front of me
Got an angel on my shoulder
And Mestopholes
My momma raised me good
Momma raised me right
Momma said
"Do what you want, say prayers at night"
And I'm saying them cause I'm so devout
'Till the love runs out
'Till the love runs out

I got my mind made up
Man, I can't let go
I'm killing every second till it saves my soul
Ooh, I'll be running
Ooh, I'll be running
'Till the love runs out
'Till the love runs out
And we'll start a fire
And we'll shut it down
'Till the love runs out
'Till the love runs out

Oooh, we all want the same thing
Oooh, we all run for something
Oh, for God, for fate
For love, for hate
For gold, for rust
For diamonds, for dust

I'll be your light, your match, your burning sun
I'll be the bright, in black that's making you run

I got my mind made up
Man, I can't let go
I'm killing every second till it saves my soul
Ooh, I'll be running
Ooh, I'll be running
'Till the love runs out
'Till the love runs out
And we'll start a fire
And we'll shut it down
'Till the love runs out
'Till the love runs out

I'll be your light, your match, your burning sun
I'll be the bright, in black that's making you run

And we'll feel alright
And we'll feel alright
'Cuz' we'll work it out
Yes, we'll work it out
And we'll start a fire
And we'll shut it down
'Till the love runs out
'Till the love runs out
'Till the love runs out.
