The album was critically and commercially successful, producing her first Billboard Hot 100 number-one single "Fallin'" and selling over 16 million copies worldwide. The album earned Keys five Grammy Awards in 2002. Her second album, The Diary of Alicia Keys (2003), was also a critical and commercial success, spawning successful singles "You Don't Know My Name", "If I Ain't Got You", and "Diary", and selling eight million copies worldwide. Her fourth album, The Element of Freedom (2009), became her first chart-topping album in the UK, and sold 4 million copies worldwide. In 2009, Keys also collaborated with Jay Z on "Empire State of Mind", which became her fourth number-one single and won the Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration. She has sold over 50 million albums and 40 million singles worldwide and was named by Billboard the top R&B artist of the 2000s decade. She placed tenth on their list of Top 50 R&B/Hip-Hop Artists of the Past 25 Years. VH1 included her on their 100 Greatest Artists of All Time and 100 Greatest Women in Music lists, while Time has named her in their 100 list of most influential people in 2005 and 2017. Keys is also acclaimed for her humanitarian work, philanthropy and activism; she co-founded and serves as the Global Ambassador of the nonprofit HIV/AIDS-fighting organization Keep a Child Alive.
"You Don't Know My Name" is a song by American singer-songwriter Alicia Keys from her second studio album, The Diary of Alicia Keys. Written by Keys, Kanye West and Harold Lilly, and produced by Keys and West, the track was released as the album's lead single in November 2003. It contains a sample from the 1975 song "Let Me Prove My Love to You", written by J. R. Bailey, Mel Kent and Ken Williams and performed by The Main Ingredient. "I Wanna Know Your Name" by The Intruders.
The song became Keys' third top ten hit in the United States, peaking at number three on the Billboard Hot 100, as well as topping the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for eight consecutive weeks, her first Top 10 single in both charts since 2002's "A Woman's Worth". Additionally, the song won a Grammy Award for Best R&B Song and a Soul Train Music Award for Best R&B/Soul Single, Female. "You Don't Know My Name" was sampled on rapper Lil Wayne's 2008 song "Comfortable" featuring Babyface, produced by West. Blender magazine placed the song at number thirty-seven on its list of "The 100 Best Songs of 2004".
Baby, baby, baby, from the day I saw you
I really, really wanted to catch your eye
There's somethin' special 'bout you,
I must really thank you
'Cause not a lot of guys are worth my time,
Ooh, baby, baby, baby,
it's gettin' kinda crazy 'Cause you are takin' over my mind

And it feels like ooh...
But you don't know my name
I swear it feels like ooh...
But you don't know my name
Round and round we go Will you ever know

Oh, baby, baby, baby,
I see us on a first date
You're doin' everything that makes me smile
And when we had our first kiss,
it happened on a Thursday And ooh,
it set my soul on fire Ooh,
Oh baby, baby, baby,
I can't wait for the first time My imagination's runnin' wild

It feels like ooh...
But you don't know my name
And I swear it baby, It feels like ooh...
But you don't know my name
Round and round we go Will you ever know

I'm sayin' He don't even know
what he's doin' to me
I'm feelin' all crazy inside
I'm feelin' like, ow, ooh...ooh...
Do nothin' I've ever done For anyone's attention
Take notice of what's in front of you
'Cause did I mention you're 'bout to miss a good thing

And you'll never know how good it feels
To have all of my affection
And you'll never get a chance to experience
My lovin' 'cause my lovin' Feels like ooh...
But you don't know my name,
mmm Round and round we go
And i swear it feels like ooh....
But you don't know my name
Round and round we go (Oh) Will you ever really know

Will you ever know it No,
no, no, no, no,
Will you ever know it

[Talking]
I might have to just go ahead
and call this boy ....
Hello Can I speak Michael
Oh, hey, how you doin' Uh,
I feel kinda silly doin' this But uh,
this is the waitress from the coffee house
on 39th and Innis
You know the one with the braids, yeah
Well I see you on Wednesdays all the time
You come in every Wednesday
on your lunch break,
you always order the special
with the hot chocolate
My manager be trippin' and stuff talkin' 'bout
we gotta use the water
But I always use some milk and cream for you
'cause
I think you're kinda sweet
Anyway you always got on some fly blue suit,
mmm Your cuff links are shinin' all bright
So what you do
Oh, word Yeah, that's interesting
Look, man,
I mean I don't wanna waste your time
but I know girls don't usually do this
But I was wondering if maybe we could get together
outside the restaurant one day
You know 'cause I do look a lot different
outside my work clothes
I mean
we could just go across the street to the park
right here Wait, hold up,
my-my cell phone breakin' up, hold up
Can you hear me now, yeah
So what day did you say Oh, Thursday's perfect

You're feeling like ooh...
But you don't know my name
Round and round we go (Baby)
Will you ever really know (Baby, I swear) It's like ooh...
But you don't know my name
Round and round we go (No, no, no)
Will you ever really know And it's feel like ooh...
But you don't know my name
Round and round we go
(And I swear on my mother and father)
Will you ever really know It feels like ooh,
Ooh (x23)
But you don't know my name
Round and round we go,
will you ever really know.

Tú no me puedes compreender

A tu manera

YEAR: 2002

George Michael (born Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou; 25 June 1963 – 25 December 2016) was an English singer, songwriter, record producer, and philanthropist who rose to fame as a member of the music duo Wham! and later embarked on a solo career. Michael sold over 80 million records worldwide making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time. He achieved seven number one songs on the UK Singles Chart and eight number one songs on the US Billboard Hot 100. Michael won various music awards including two Grammy Awards, three Brit Awards, three American Music Awards, 12 Billboard Music Awards, four MTV Video Music Awards and six Ivor Novello Awards. In 2008, he was ranked 40th on Billboard's list of the Greatest Hot 100 Artists of All Time.
Born in East Finchley, Michael formed the duo Wham! With Andrew Ridgeley in 1981. The band's first two albums, Fantastic (1983) and Make It Big (1984), reached number one on the UK Albums Chart and the US Billboard 200. Certifying themselves as a global act, Wham!'s tour of China in April 1985 was the first visit to China by a Western popular music act, and generated worldwide media coverage. Michael's first solo single "Careless Whisper" reached number one in over 20 countries, including the UK and US. His debut solo album, Faith, was released in 1987, topping the UK Albums Chart and staying at number one on the Billboard 200 for 12 weeks. Four singles from the album—"Faith", "Father Figure", "One More Try", and "Monkey"—reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Faith was awarded Album of the Year at the 1989 Grammy Awards. Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1 (1990) was a UK number-one and included the Billboard Hot 100 number-one "Praying for Time"."Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me", a 1991 duet with Elton John, was also a transatlantic number one. Michael went on to release the albums Older (1996), Songs from the Last Century (1999) and Patience (2004). In 2004, the Radio Academy named him the most played artist on British radio during the period 1984–2004.
"Freeek!" is a single written and performed by English singer George Michael, and a remastered version called "Freeek! '04" was later featured on his álbum Patience.
The single was released on 18 March 2002; the first of six to come from Patience, although the album itself was not released until 2004. The song peaked at number seven on the UK Singles Chart and also charted within the top ten in many other European countries. It topped the charts in Denmark, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, and Spain and reached number two in Switzerland, number five in Australia, and number six in Finland. The song contains samples from "Try Again" by Aaliyah, "Breathe and Stop" by Q-Tip, and "N.T." by Kool & the Gang.
"The Long and Winding Road" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1970 album Let It Be. It was written by Paul McCartney and credited to Lennon–McCartney. When issued as a single in May 1970, a month after the Beatles' break-up, it became the group's 20th and last number-one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States.
The main recording of the song took place in January 1969 and featured a sparse musical arrangement. When preparing the tapes from these sessions for release in April 1970, producer Phil Spector added orchestral and choral overdubs. Spector's modifications angered McCartney to the point that when the latter made his case in the English High Court for the Beatles' disbandment, he cited the treatment of "The Long and Winding Road" as one of six reasons for doing so. New versions of the song with simpler instrumentation were subsequently released by McCartney and by the Beatles.
In 2011, Rolling Stone ranked "The Long and Winding Road" at number 90 on their list of 100 greatest Beatles songs.

The long and winding road
That leads to your door
Will never disappear
I've seen that road before
It always leads me here
Lead me to your door

The wild and windy night
That the rain washed away
Has left a pool of tears
Crying for the day
Why leave me standing here?
Let me know the way

Many times I've been alone
And many times I've cried
Any way youll never know
The many ways I've tried

And still they lead me back
To the long winding road
You left me standing here
A long long time ago
Don't leave me waiting here
Lead me to your door

Many times I've been alone
And many times I've cried
Any way youll never know
The many ways I've tried

But still they lead me back
To the long winding road
You left me standing here
A long long time ago
Don't keep me waiting here
Lead me to your door.
