I can't imagine why you say the things you do
Maybe in time I'll understand
What is the reason for the emptiness you feel
When I'm trying everything I can

My love is running deeper than the night
Stronger than the north wind blowing
It's a fire burning bright
And it's always been this way

Can you hear me?
Am I really coming thru?
Why do your eyes seem to dance away?
I know what's right for you Haven't I always?
I need you more than I can say

My love is running deeper than the night
Stronger than the north wind blowing
It's a fire burning bright
And it's always been this way

My love is running deeper than the night
Stronger than the north wind blowing
It's a fire burning bright
And it's always been this way

And I'll never ever change
In my lifetime, I'll stay the same
Yes I'll never, I'll never change
I'll love you, I'll stay the same

My love is running deeper than the night
Stronger than the north wind blowing
Fire burning bright, and it keeps on growing, keeps on growing

DIANA ROSS

COUNTRY: U. S. A.
ALBUM: TO LOVE AGAIN
LABEL: MOTOWN RECORDS
GENRE: R & B
YEAR: 1981

Diana Ross (born March 26, 1944) is an American singer and actress. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, she rose to fame as the lead singer of the vocal group The Supremes, who became Motown's most successful act during the 1960s and one of the world's best-selling girl groups of all time. They remain the best-charting female group in US history, with a total of twelve number-one hit singles on the US Billboard Hot 100, including "Where Did Our Love Go", "Baby Love", "Come See About Me", and "Love Child".
Following departure from the Supremes in 1970, Ross embarked on a highly successful, globally ground-breaking solo career in music, television, film and stage. Ross' eponymous debut solo album that same year, featured the US number-one hit "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and music anthem "Reach Out and Touch (Somebody's Hand)". It was followed with her second solo album, Everything Is Everything, which spawned her first UK number-one single "I'm Still Waiting". She continued her successful solo career by mounting elaborate record-setting world-wide concert tours, starring in a number of highly-watched prime-time television specials and releasing hit albums like Touch Me in the Morning (1973), Mahogany (1975) and Diana Ross (1976) and their number-one hit singles, "Touch Me in the Morning", "Theme from Mahogany" and "Love Hangover", respectively. Ross further released numerous top-ten hits into the 1970s, 80s and 90s. She achieved two more US number-one singles "Upside Down" (1980) and "Endless Love" (1981), as well as UK number-one hit "Chain Reaction" (1989) and UK number-two hit "When You Tell Me You Love Me" (1991). In 2019, Ross made history by charting four more number-ones on the US Billboard Dance Chart in just two years with remixes 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough 2017' in January 2018, 'I'm Coming Out/Upside Down 2018' in August that year and 'The Boss 2019' in April 2019.
Ross has also ventured into acting, with a Golden Globe Award-winning and Academy Award-nominated performance in the film Lady Sings the Blues (1972); she recorded its soundtrack, which became a number one hit on the US album chart. She also starred in two other feature films, Mahogany (1975) and The Wiz (1978), later acting in the television films Out of Darkness (1994), for which she also was nominated for a Golden Globe Award, and Double Platinum (1999).
Ross was named the "Female Entertainer of the Century" by Billboard in 1976. She is the only female artist to have number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 as a solo artist, as the other half of a duet, as a member of a trio, and as an ensemble member. Billboard ranked her as 28th greatest Hot 100 artist of all time. According to Joel Whitburn, Diana Ross ranks among the Top 5 artists on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart from 1955 to 2018 when combining her solo and Supremes' hits. She had a top 10 UK hit in every one of the last five decades, and sang lead on a top 75 hit single at least once every year from 1964 to 1996 in the UK, a period of 33 consecutive years and a record for any performer. In 1988, Ross was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Supremes. In 1990s, Guinness Book of World Records recognized her success in the United States and United Kingdom for having more hits than any female artist in the charts, with a career total of 70 hit singles with her work with the Supremes and as a solo artist. She was the recipient of the Kennedy Center Honors in 2007, the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2016.
"To Love Again" is a 1981 studio/compilation album by Diana Ross. It featured both new recordings and previously-released material. The album was produced by Michael Masser. It reached number 32 in the USA (#16 R&B) and sold around 200,000 copies

I can't cover up my feelings
In the name of love
Or play it safe
For a while that was easy
And if living for myself
Is what I'm guilty of
Go on and sentence me
I'll still be free

It's my turn
To see what I can see
I hope you'll understand
This time's just for me

Because it's my turn
With no apologies
I've given up the truth
To those I've tried to please

But now it's my turn
If I don't have all the answers
At least I know I'll take my share of chances
Ain't no use of holding of
When nothing stays the same

So I'll let it rain
'Cause the rain ain't gonna hurt me
And I'll let you go
'Though I know it won't be easy

It's my turn
With no more room for lies
For years I'd seen my life
Through someone else's eyes

And now it's my turn
To try and find my way
And if I should get lost
At least I'll own today

It's my turn
Yes, it's my turn
And there ain't no use in holding of
When nothing stays the same

So I'll let it rain
'Cause the rain ain't gonna hurt me
And I'll let you go
'Though I know it won't be easy

It's my turn
To see what I can see
I hope you'll understand
This time's just for me

Because it's my turn
To turn and say goodbye
I sure would like to know
That you're still on my side

Because it's my turn
It's my turn

It's my turn
To start from number one
Trying to undo
Some damage that's been done

But now it's my turn
To reach and touch the sky
No one's gonna say
At least I didn't try

It's my turn
Yes, it's my turn
It's my turn
It's my turn
It's my turn.

GENRE: POP
YEAR: 2008

The Pussycat Dolls are an American girl group and dance ensemble, founded in Los Angeles, California, by choreographer Robin Antin in 1995 as a burlesque troupe. At the suggestion of Jimmy Iovine, Antin decided to take the burlesque troupe mainstream as a pop group. Antin negotiated a record deal with Interscope Geffen A&M Records in 2003 turning the group into a music franchise comprising Nicole Scherzinger, Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Melody Thornton, and Kimberly Wyatt. Their debut single, "Sway", was featured on the soundtrack of the 2004 film Shall We Dance?
The Pussycat Dolls achieved worldwide success with number-one singles "Don't Cha", "Stickwitu", "Buttons", and their multi-platinum debut album PCD (2005). However, despite their commercial success, the group was plagued by internal conflict due to the emphasis on Scherzinger, the group's lead vocalist, and the subordinate treatment of the other members. Bachar's departure from the group preceded the release of their second and final studio álbum Doll Domination (2008), which contains hit singles "When I Grow Up", "I Hate This Part", and "Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny)". Following the completion of their 2009 world tour, the group went on hiatus and fully disbanded in 2010. The original recording line-up, minus Thornton, announced their reunion in 2019 with an upcoming tour and a new album.
The Pussycat Dolls brand diversified into merchandise, reality television programs, a Las Vegas act, product endorsements, spin-off recording groups (Girlicious, Paradiso Girls, G.R.L.), and other ventures. Billboard ranked the Pussycat Dolls as the 80th most successful musical act of the 2000s. The group has sold 55 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. In 2012, the Pussycat Dolls ranked 100th on VH1's 100 Greatest Women in Music, and as the tenth all-girl group
Doll Domination is the second studio album by American girl group the Pussycat Dolls, released on September 19, 2008 by Interscope Records. The album's release was preceded by the departure of the group's longest-standing member Carmit Bachar. Development began in February 2008 where the group worked with previous collaborators Sean Garrett, Polow da Don and Timbaland and new ones such as Darkchild, J-Roc and Chase N Cashe. Polow da DonR. Kelly and Snoop Dogg also make guest performances on the album. Four songs on Doll Domination were originally recorded for the lead singer Nicole Scherzinger's debut solo album, Her Name is Nicole, which was shelved after the under-performance of its preceding singles.
The album consists of a mixture of pop and R&B songs that also blend elements of dance, electropop with lyrics that tackle fame, sexuality and relationships. All of the lead and background vocals were sang by Scherzinger with support from Melody Thornton, whilst the remaining group members are only credited for background vocals. Upon release, Doll Domination received mixed reviews from music critics. The album debuted at number four on the US Billboard 200 becoming the group's highest charting album. It experienced similar peaks in international territories, debuting at number three in Canada and number four in Australia and the United Kingdom. Doll Domination was later reissued in multiple versions throughout 2009. The album was supported with a world tour titled Doll Domination Tour in 2009.
The album was preceded by the release of the US Billboard Hot 100 top-ten single "When I Grow Up" and the UK top-ten hit "Whatcha Think About That" (featuring Missy Elliott). Other successful singles were "I Hate This Part", "Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny)", and "Hush Hush; Hush Hush", all of which reached the top ten in numerous countries worldwide. Although "Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny)" became a number-one hit in Australia, Ireland, Finland, among other countries, the single caused tension on the group as Scherzinger was billed as a featured artist. Despite their commercial success, unhappiness of Scherzinger's spotlight and prominence within the group grew leading to a public outburst by Thornton during the tour. In early-2010, the group disbanded to pursue solo projects, before reforming in 2019 with the promise of new music. In 2019, Doll Domination was re-released, excluding the R. Kelly collaboration "Out of This Club" following the airing of the Surviving R. Kelly documentary and subsequent abuse allegations against the singer.

La la la la la la… La la la la
Mr. Invisible, tell me how did I miss you, boy
How could you have never caught me eye
Were you there all alone, or were you just shy?
Mr. I never noticed you, tell me that you ain't got a girl at home
See you're a catch, I wanna snatch you up
I know that I slept on you now I woke up
Boy how did I miss that smile, your style, your game, juicy
If you lick your lips one more time, boy you about to have it, yeah

'Cause I like it smooth like that, you're cool like that
Must be good like that, I can tell by that
I'm gonna love the way you love me, I'm gonna love the way you love me
Staring at you too like that, oh like that
What it do like that, how you do all that
I'm gonna love the way you love me, you're gonna love the way you love me

La la la la la la (la, la, la)
La la la la (la, la, la)
So come with me and walk for a while
Can I spring you outta here and talk for awhile
Gotta know what the deal with you, Mr. Now I'm really feelin' you

'Cuz I even like the way you sip your drink
Just enough ice on you to make me think
What I gotta do for you to scoop me up
What I say to be the one you touch
Boy how did I miss that smile, your style, the game, juicy
If you got a little extra style, then won't you let me have it?

I like how your t-shirt cut you right
And how you melt me deep inside
Oh, you're running in a different league
Don't make me chase you, boy, you know I'm game
By the way you're rocking it in the Nike's
Won't you let me play on your team tonight?
We can go one-on-one, you and me
That's the way that it should be, yeah.

Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter (/biːˈjɒnseɪ/bee-YON-say; née Knowles; born September 4, 1981) is an American singer and actress. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Beyoncé performed in various singing and dancing competitions as a child. She rose to fame in the late 1990s as the lead singer of Destiny's Child, one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. Beyoncé is often cited as an influence by other artists.
During Destiny's Child's hiatus, Beyoncé made her theatrical film debut with a role in the US box-office number-one Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002) and began her solo music career. She became the first music act to debut at number one with their first six solo studio albums on the Billboard 200. Her debut album Dangerously in Love (2003) featured four Billboard Hot 100 top five songs, including the number-one singles "Crazy in Love" featuring rapper Jay-Z and "Baby Boy" featuring singer-rapper Sean Paul. Following the disbandment of Destiny's Child in 2006, she released her second solo album, B'Day, which contained her first US number-one solo single "Irreplaceable", and "Beautiful Liar", which topped the charts in most countries. Beyoncé continued her acting career with starring roles in The Pink Panther (2006), Dreamgirls (2006), and Obsessed (2009). Her marriage to Jay-Z and her portrayal of Etta James in Cadillac Records (2008) influenced her third album, I Am... Sasha Fierce (2008), which earned a record-setting six Grammy Awards in 2010. It spawned the UK number-one single "If I Were a Boy", the US number-one single "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" and the top five single "Halo".
After splitting from her manager and father Mathew Knowles in 2010, Beyoncé released the album (2011); it was influenced by 1970s funk, 1980s pop, and 1990s soul. She achieved back-to-back widespread critical acclaim for her sonically experimental visual albums, Beyoncé (2013) and Lemonade (2016); the latter was the world's best-selling album of 2016 and the most acclaimed album of her career, exploring themes of infidelity and womanism. In 2018, she released Everything Is Love, a collaborative album with her husband, Jay-Z, as the Carters. As a featured artist, Beyoncé topped the Billboard Hot 100 with the remixes of "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran in 2017 and "Savage" by Megan Thee Stallion in 2020. The same year, she made her directorial and screenwriting debut with the musical film and visual album Black Is King, which received widespread critical acclaim after premiering on Disney+.
Beyoncé is one of the world's best-selling recording artists, having sold 118 million records worldwide. Her success during the 2000s was recognized with the Recording Industry Association of America's Top Certified Artist of the Decade, as well as Billboard magazine's Top Radio Songs Artist and the Top Female Artist of the Decade. Beyoncé is the most nominated woman in the Grammy Award's history and has the second most wins for a woman with a total of 24. She is also the most awarded artist at the MTV Video Music Awards, with 24 wins, including the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. In 2014, she became the highest-earning black musician in history and was listed among Time's 100 most influential people in the world for a second year in a row. Forbes ranked her as the most powerful female in entertainment on their 2015 and 2017 lists. She occupied the sixth place for Time's Person of the Year in 2016, and in 2020, was named one of the 100 women who defined the last century by the same publication. Beyoncé was also included on Encyclopædia Britannica's 100 Women list in 2019, for her contributions to the entertainment industry.
I Am... Sasha Fierce is the third studio album by American singer Beyoncé. It was released on November 12, 2008, by Columbia Records and Music World Entertainment. In its original release, the album was formatted as a double album, intending to market Beyoncé's dichotomous artistic persona. The first disc, I Am..., contains slow and midtempo pop and R&B ballads, while the second, Sasha Fierce (named after Beyoncé's on-stage alter ego), focuses on more uptempo beats that blend electropop and Europop elements. In composing the songs' lyrics, Beyoncé worked with writers, with each session accompanied by live orchestration.
Beyoncé credited both her husband—rapper Shawn Carter—and jazz singer Etta James for inspiring her to push the limits of her songwriting and artistry. Musically, I Am... drew inspiration from folk and alternative rock, while blending acoustic guitar elements into contemporary ballads, and its tracks were written and produced by Beyoncé, during collaborative efforts with Babyface, Tricky Stewart, The-Dream and Ryan Tedder. Sasha Fierce boasted production from Darkchild and Sean Garrett.
I Am... Sasha Fierce received mixed reviews from music critics, but was a commercial success nonetheless, debuting at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart with first-week sales of 482,000 units, earning Beyoncé her third consecutive US number-one solo album. The album has earned one diamond and over thirty platinum certifications in separate worldwide markets, being certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on January 16, 2009, selling over three million copies in the United States. As of 2015, I Am... Sasha Fierce has sold over 8 million copies worldwide. The album garnered seven Grammy Award nominations at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards ceremony (2010), including a nomination for Album of the Year, winning five and eventually collecting a record setting six wins—the most awards won in one night by a female artist.
The album was marketed with the release of several singles, including "If I Were a Boy" and "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)", both of which charted highly internationally. The former topped the charts in over eight countries and reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100, with the latter becoming her fifth number-one single on the Hot 100 chart. "Diva" and "Ego" were released exclusively in the United States, while "Halo" and "Sweet Dreams" were promoted internationally as the third and fourth singles, respectively. "Broken-Hearted Girl" was released internationally as the fifth single, while "Video Phone" was released in September 2009 as the overall eighth, and "Why Don't You Love Me" was released in July 2010 as the ninth and final single. To further promote the album, Beyoncé made several award show and televised appearances across Europe and America, and embarking on the worldwide I Am... World Tour (2009–10).

Si yo fuera un chico
Sólo por una vez
Yo me vestiría como quiero
Con lo que vea primero y me voy

Saldría a buscar
Chicas por montón
Mis amigos que són leales
Siempre van acompañarme hasta el fin
Cada noche a mentir

Si yo fuera un chico
Sé que podría saber
Comprender mucho mejor
Lo que es amar a una mujer

Sabria escuchar
Pues conozco el dolor
De perder a quién se quiere
Porque ignoras lo que tienes
Y quedas sin saber que pasó

Si yo fuera un chico
Pero ves no lo soy
Los chicos són de molde
Y nosostras somos de corazón

Se piensan que són
Los del sexo superior
Pero cuando lo queremos
Los vence nuestra seducción, seducción

Si yo fuera un chico
Sé que podría saber
Comprender mucho mejor
Lo que es amar a una mujer

Sabria escuchar
Pues conozco el dolor
De perder a quién se quiere
Porque ignoras lo que tienes
Y quedas sin saber que pasó

Es muy tarde ya vez para regressar
Perdonarte otra vez
Ya no lo vas a lograr
El lugar que ocupabas
Tú, ya no está más

Pero eres un chico, que le vas hacer
No puedes comprender
Que se siente al comprender mejor
Y amar enserio a una mujer

No sabes escuchar
No te importa el dolor
Hasta que pierdes a quién quieres
Porque ignoras lo que tienes
Y queda sin saber que pasó
Pero eres un chico.
