Guy Davis (born May 12, 1952) is an Americanbluesguitarist,
banjoplayer,
and actor. He is the second child and the only son of the actors Ruby Deeand Ossie Davis.
Davis says his blues
musicis inspired by the Southern speechof his
grandmother. Though raised in the New York
Cityarea, he grew up hearing accounts of
life in the rural South from his parents and especially his grandparents, and
they made their way into his own stories and songs. Davis taught himself the guitar
(never having the patience to take formal lessons) and learned by listening to
and watching other musicians. One night on a train from Bostonto New
York, he picked up finger
pickingfrom a nine-fingered guitar player.
His first exposure to the blues was at a summer camp in Vermontrun by Pete Seeger's
brother John Seeger, where he learned how to play the five-string banjo.

Troyal Garth Brooks (born February 7, 1962)
is an American singer and songwriter. His integration of rock and pop elements
into the countrygenre has earned him popularity, particularly in the United States with
success on the country music single and album charts, multi-platinum recordings
and record-breaking live performances, while also crossing over
into the mainstream pop arena.
As of 2020, Brooks is now the only artist in
music history to have released nine albums that achieved diamondstatus in the United States (surpassing the Beatles'
former record of six); those albums are Garth
Brooks(diamond), No Fences(17× platinum), Ropin'

Troubled by conflicts between career and

recent album, Fun, was released in November 2020.
Brooks is one of the world's best-selling music artists, having
sold more than 170 million records. As of 2020, according to the RIAA, he
is the best-selling solo albums artist in
the United Stateswith 156 million domestic
units sold, ahead of Elvis
Presley, and is second only to the Beatles in total
album sales overall. Brooks was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fameon October 21,

On January 20, 2021, Brooks performed "Amazing Grace"
at the inaugurationof Joe Biden.
He said his performance was an opportunity "to serve" and is a
"statement of unity.
No Fences is the second studio album by the
American country musicartist Garth Brooks.
It was released on August 27, 1990, and reached No. 1 on Billboard's Top
Country Albumschart. The album also reached Nº. 3
on the Billboard 200.
On the latter chart it stayed in the top 40 for 126 weeks. No Fences remains
Brooks' best-selling studio album to date with 18 million copies shipped in the
US, and is the album that made him an international star. It was his first
album issued in Europe (the original European release contained the four

Toby Keith Covel (born July 8, 1961) is an
American countrysinger, songwriter, actor, and record producer. Keith released his
first four studio albums—1993's Toby
Keith, 1994's Boomtown, 1996's Blue Moonand 1997's Dream Walkin',
plus a Greatest Hits package for various divisions of Mercury Recordsbefore leaving Mercury in 1998. These albums all earned Gold or
higher certification, and produced several Top Ten singles, including his debut
