George Washington Benson(born March 22, 1943) is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He began his professional career at the age of 19 as a jazz guitarist.
A former child prodigy, Benson first came to prominence in the 1960s, playing soul jazz with Jack McDuff and others. He then launched a successful solo career, alternating between jazz, pop, R&B singing, and scat singing. His álbum Breezin' was certified triple-platinum, hitting nº 1 on the Billboard album chart in 1976. His concerts were well attended through the 1980s, and he still has a large following. Benson has been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
"Nothing's Gonna Change My Love for You" is a song written by composers Michael Masser and Gerry Goffin. It was originally recorded by American singer and guitarist George Benson for his studio album 20/20, released by Warner Bros. Records. This original version was produced by co-writer Masser, and was released as a single in Europe only in 1985. Two years later, in 1987, Hawaiian singer Glenn Medeiros sang his cover version, which became a worldwide success.

If I had to live my life without you near me
The days would all be empty
The nights would seem so long
With you I see forever, oh so clearly
I might have been in love before
But never felt this strong
Our dreams are young and we both know
They'll take us where we want to go
Hold me now, touch me now
I don't want to live without you

Nothing's gonna change my love for you
You ought to know by now how much I love you
One thing you can be sure of
I'll never ask for more than your love
Nothing's gonna change my love for you
You ought to know by now how much I love you
The world may change my whole life through
But nothing's gonna change my love for you

If the road ahead is not so easy
Our love will lead a way for us
Like a guiding star
I'll be there for you if you should need me
You don't have to change a thing
I love you just the way you are
So come with me and share the view
I'll help you see forever too
Hold me now, touch me now
I don't want to live without you

Nothing's gonna change my love for you
You ought to know by now how much I love you
One thing you can be sure of
I'll never ask for more than your love
Nothing's gonna change my love for you
You ought to know by now how much I love you
The world may change my whole life through
But nothing's gonna change my love for you.

DRIVE
THE CARS

ALBUM: HEARTBEAT CITY
LABEL: ELEKTRA
GENRE: BLUE-EYED SOUL

"Drive" is a song by American rock band the Cars from their fifth studio album, Heartbeat City(1984). It was released on July 23, 1984, as the album's third single. Written by Ric Ocasek, the track was sung by bassist Benjamin Orr and produced by Robert John "Mutt" Lange with the band. Upon its release, "Drive" became the Cars' highest-charting single in most territories. In the United States, it peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Adult Contemporary chart. It reached number five (number four on re-entry in 1985) in the United Kingdom, number four in West Germany, number six in Canada and number three (number five on re-entry in 1985) in Ireland.
The song is most associated with the July 1985 Live Aid event, where it was performed by Benjamin Orr during the Philadelphia event; the song was also used as the background music to a montage of clips depicting the contemporaneous Ethiopian famine during the London event, which was introduced by English musician David Bowie. Following the concert, it re-entered the UK Singles Chart and peaked at number four in August 1985. Proceeds from the sales of the re-released song raised nearly £160,000 for the Band Aid Trust; Ocasek presented the charity's trustee Midge Ure with a cheque for the amount while he was in London in November 1986 promoting his solo album This Side of Paradise.
In a retrospective review of the single, AllMusic journalist Donald A. Guarisco praised the song for being "a gorgeous ballad that matches heartfelt songwriting to an alluring electronic soundscape. The music reflects the lyrical tone with a lovely melody that rises and falls in a soothing yet sad fashion."

Who's gonna tell you when
It's too late?
Who's gonna tell you things
Aren't so great?

You cant go on, thinkin'
Nothings' wrong, but bye
Who's gonna drive you home
Tonight?

Who's gonna pick you up
When you fall?
Who's gonna hang it up
When you call?

Who's gonna pay attention
To your dreams?
And who's gonna plug their ears
When you scream?

You can't go on, thinkin'
Nothings wrong, but bye
Who's gonna drive you home, tonight?

Who's gonna hold you down
When you shake?
Who's gonna come around
When you break?

You can't go on, thinkin'
Nothin's wrong, but bye
Who's gonna drive you home, tonight?

Oh, you know you can't go on, thinkin'
Nothin's wrong
Who's gonna drive you home, tonight?

If you don't know me by now
You will never never never know me

All the things, that we've been through
You should understand me like I understand you
Now girl I know the difference between right and wrong
I ain't gonna do nothing to break up our happy home
Don't get so excited when I come home a little late at night
'Cause we only act like children when we argue fuss and fight

If you don't know me by now (If you don't know me)
You will never never never know me (No you won't)
If you don't know by now
You will never never never know me

We've all got our funny moods
I've got mine, woman you've got yours too
Just trust in me like I trust in you
As long as we've been together it should be so easy to do
Just get yourself together or we might as well say goodbye
What good is a love affair when we can't see eye to eye

If you don't know me by now (If you don't know me)
You will never never never know me (No you won't) (x3).

Avril Ramona Lavigne (/ˌævrɪl ləˈviːn/AV-ril lə-VEEN, French: [avʁil laviɲ]; born September 27, 1984) is a Canadian singer, songwriter and actress. By the age of 15, she had appeared on stage with Shania Twain, and by 16, she had signed a two-album recording contract with Arista Records worth more than $2 million.
Lavigne's debut studio album, Let Go (2002), is the best-selling album of the 21st century by a Canadian artist. It yielded the singles "Complicated" and "Sk8er Boi", which emphasized a skate punk persona and earned her the title "Pop Punk Queen" from music publications. She is considered a key musician in the development of pop punk music since she paved the way for female-driven, punk-influenced pop music in the early 2000s. Her second studio album, Under My Skin (2004), became Lavigne's first album to reach the top of the Billboard 200 chart in the United States, going on to sell 10 million copies worldwide.
Lavigne's third studio album, The Best Damn Thing(2007), reached number one in seven countries worldwide and saw the international success of its lead single "Girlfriend", which became her first single to reach the top of the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States. Her fourth and fifth studio albums, Goodbye Lullaby(2011) and Avril Lavigne(2013), saw continued commercial success and were both certified gold in Canada, the United States, and other territories. In 2019, Lavigne released her sixth studio album, Head Above Water. Alongside her music career, Lavigne voiced Heather, a Virginia opossum, in the animated film Over the Hedge(2006), and made her screen acting debut in Fast Food Nation (2006).
B-Sides, also known as Let Go: B-Sides, is a promotional album by Canadian singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne. It was published before debut studio álbum Let Go by Arista Records in 2002. The compilation contains demo and original tracks not included in the final Let Go release. The songs were written and produced in 2001 under the management of Nettwerk in Los Angeles by Lavigne, the production team The Matrix and songwriter Cliff Magness after Arista sent her to McBride CEO of Nettwerk in the attempt to fit her image and attitude with her voice:165 Though Lavigne would release Let Go through Arista, she continued with Nettwerk for her management.
You're indecisive when it comes to making any plans
You're on the fence
You give me reasons I never seem to understand
They don't make sense

Maybe ain't enough for my heart
We'll see, ain't off to a great start
Baby, I want you to be mine
You better hurry, 'cause if I change my mind

You will never know
What it means, to love me
And you will never know
What these two lips taste like to kiss
You can just suppose what my body feels like to hold
Hope you can deal with
All you will never know

I wanna know you, what's hiding behind this wall
Who you really are
I wanna meet you on the other side of this charade
Wherever the cards may fall

I'm ready to give you my heart
Yeah, I'm willing to show up for my part
Baby, I want you to be mine
You better hurry, 'cause if I change my mind

You will never know
What it means, to love me
And you will never know
What these two lips taste like to kiss
You can just suppose what my body feels like to hold
Hope you can deal with
All you will never know

About me, what I see, what I believe in
How I breathe, when I weep

You will never know
What it means, to love me
Oh, and you will never know
What these two lips taste like to kiss
You can just suppose what my body feels like to hold
Hope you can deal with
All you will never know.
