"Endless Summer Nights" is a song written and performed by American rock singer Richard Marx, and released in January 1988 as the third single from his eponymous Triple Platinum debut album. The song peaked at #2 on the U.S. pop and Adult Contemporary charts.
Summer came and left without a warning
All at once I looked and you were gone
And now you're looking back at me
Searching for a way that we can be like we were before

Now I'm back to what I knew before you
Somehow the city doesn't look the same
I'd give my life for one more night
Of having you here to hold me tight; oh, please
Take me there again
Oh, oh

And I remember how you loved me
Time was all we had until the day we said goodbye
I remember every moment of those endless summer nights

I still recall the walks along the beaches
And the way your hair would glisten in the sun
Rising in the afternoon
Making love to you under the moon, oh

Do you remember all the nights we spent in silence
Every single breath you took was mine
We can have it all again
Say that you'll be with me when the sun brings your heart to mine
Oh, oh

And I remember how you loved me
Time was all we had until the day we said goodbye
I remember every moment of those endless summer nights

There's only so much I can say
So please don't run away from what we have together
It's only you and me tonight
So let's stay lost in flight
Oh, won't you please surrender

And I remember how you loved me
Time was all we had until the day we said goodbye
I remember every moment of those endless summer nights (Oh I remember)

And I remember how you loved me
Time was all we had until the day we said goodbye
I remember every moment of those endless summer nights.

AFTER YOU'VE GONE

EYDIE GORMÉ
SONGWRITERS: HENRY CREAMER & TURNER LAYTON
COUNTRY: U. S. A.
ALBUM: AFTER YOU’VE GONE
LABEL: COLUMBIA
GENRE: POP
YEAR: 1965

Eydie Gormé(born Edith Gormezano; August 16, 1928 – August 10, 2013) was an American singer who had hits on the pop and Latin pop charts. She sang solo and with her husband, Steve Lawrence, on albums, television, Broadway, and in Las Vegas.
"After You've Gone" is a 1918 popular song composed by Turner Layton with lyrics by Henry Creamer. It was recorded by Marion Harris on July 22, 1918, and released by Victor Records. The chorus adheres to a standard ABAC pattern but is only 20 measures long. There are four 4-bar phrases, followed by a 4 measure tag. The song is harmonically active, with chord changes almost every measure. The opening four notes are identical to the opening notes of Peg o' My Heart(1912)—at the time songwriters often borrowed the first few notes of a hit melody. The song was so popular that the sheet music was later decorated with tiny photographs of the 45 men who made the song famous, including Paul Whiteman, Rudy Vallée, B.A. Rolfe, Guy Lombardo, and Louis Armstrong.
Don't you remember how you used to say
You'd always love me in the same old way
But know it's very strange
That you should ever change
Sometimes I think someone has won your heart
Tempted you away
But let me warn you, though we're miles apart
You'll regret someday
My darling
After you've gone
And left me crying
After you've gone
There's no denying
You'll feel blue
You'll feel sad
You miss the bestest pal you ever had
There'll come a time now don't forget it
There'll come a time when you'll regret it
Someday when grow lonely
Your heart will break like mine
And you'll want me only
After you've gone
After you've gone away
Oh you're gonna miss me baby
I-I-I-I don't mean maybe
Someday when grow lonely
Your heart will break for me only
After you've gone
After you've gone away.

They consist of three brothers: Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas. Raised in Wyckoff, New Jersey, the Jonas Brothers moved to Little Falls, New Jersey, in 2005, where they wrote their first record that made its Hollywood Records release. In mid-2008, they starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock and its sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. They also starred as Kevin, Joe, and Nick Lucas from the band, JONAS, in their own Disney Channel series Jonas, which was rebranded as Jonas L.A. after the first season and cancelled after the second. The band have released five albums: It's About Time(2006), Jonas Brothers(2007), A Little Bit Longer(2008), Lines, Vines and Trying Times(2009), and Happiness Begins(2019).
In 2008, the group was nominated for the Best New Artist award at the 51st Grammy Awards and won the award for Breakthrough Artist at the American Music Awards. As of May 2009, before the release of Lines, Vines and Trying Times, they had sold over eight million albums worldwide. After a hiatus during 2010 and 2011 to pursue solo-projects, the group reconciled in 2012 to record a new album, which was cancelled following their break-up on October 29, 2013.
They have sold over 17 million albums worldwide as of 2013. Six years following their split, the group reunited with the release of "Sucker" on March 1, 2019. The song became the 34th song in history to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, and became the Jonas Brothers' first number one single on the chart. Their fifth studio album, Happiness Begins, was released on June 7, 2019, topping the US Billboard 200.
"When You Look Me in the Eyes" is a song by the American pop rock band Jonas Brothers. The song was released as the third and final single from their self-titled second album, Jonas Brothers, in 2007. In the United Kingdom, it was released as a double-A side with "Burnin' Up". There are two versions of the song, featuring different lyrics and production: the first was released on Nick Jonas's solo album, Nicholas Jonas(Joe and Kevin Jonas Sr. (dad) feature on the song, and Kevin Jonas(brother) plays guitar), and the second was released on the album Jonas Brothers. Jason Nevins produced a dance remix of the latter version for promotional release.
The band's When You Look Me in the Eyes Tour was named after the song, their most current single at the time of the tour. The song was released as the first single on the third álbum A Little Bit Longer in Japan, re-titled in Japanese as "Mitsumeau Koi"(見つめあう恋, "Love Is Watching Each Other"). The song was featured on the álbum Now: The Hits of Spring 2008 in Australia.
Oh, yeah! Oh, yeah!
If the heart is always searching
Can you ever find a home?
I've been looking for that someone
I never make it on my own

Dreams can't take the place
Of loving you
There's gotta be a million reasons
Why it's true

When you look me in the eyes
And tell me that you love me
Everything's alright
When you're right here by my side

When you look me in the eyes
I catch a glimpse of heaven
I find my paradise
When you look me in the eyes

How long will I be waiting
To be with you again?
I'm gonna tell you that I love you
In the best way that I can

I can't take a day
Without you here
You're the light that makes
My darkness disappear

When you look me in the eyes
And tell me that you love me
Everything's alright
When you're right here by my side

When you look me in the eyes
I catch a glimpse of heaven
I find my paradise
When you look me in the eyes

Move and more I start to realize
I can reach my tomorrow
I can hold my head up high
And it's all because you're by my side

When you look me in the eyes
And tell me that you love me
Everything's alright
When you're right here by my side

When I hold you in my arms
I know that is forever
I just gotta let you know
And never wanna let you go

Cause when you look me in the eyes (because)
And tell me that you love me
Everything's alright (it's alright)
You're right here by my side (by my side)

When you look me in the eyes
I catch a glimpse of heaven (oh)
I find my paradise
When you look me in the eyes
Ohh, yeah! Ohh, whoa yeah!

One Direction, often shortened to 1D, are an English-Irish pop boy band formed in London, England in 2010. The group are composed of Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson; former member Zayn Malik departed from the group in March 2015. The group signed with Simon Cowell's record label Syco Records after forming and finishing third in the seventh series of the British televised singing competition The X Factor in 2010.
Propelled to global success by social media, One Direction's five albums, Up All Night(2011), Take Me Home(2012), Midnight Memories(2013), Four(2014), and Made in the A.M.(2015), topped charts in most major markets, and generated hit singles including "What Makes You Beautiful" (their first number one on the UK Singles Chart, and the highest debut for a British act on the US Billboard Hot 100 since 1998), "Live While We're Young", "Best Song Ever", "Story of My Life" and "Drag Me Down". After the release of Four, One Direction became the first band in the US Billboard 200 history to have their first four albums debut at number one. Their third album, Midnight Memories, was the best-selling album worldwide of 2013.
Considered teen idols, One Direction were often subject to fan hysteria. They embarked on four world tours, two of which were all-stadium. The band's Where We Are Tour, in support of Midnight Memories, was the highest-grossing concert tour in 2014, the highest-grossing tour by a vocal group in history, and the 15th highest-grossing concert tour of all time, grossing $290.2 million (unadjusted for inflation). The band went on hiatus in January 2016, allowing all members to pursue other projects.
As of 2020, the band have sold a total of 70 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling boy bands of all time. The band have won nearly 200 awards, including seven Brit Awards, four MTV Video Music Awards, six Billboard Music Awards, seven American Music Awards (including Artist of the Year in 2014 and 2015), and 28 Teen Choice Awards. In 2013, they earned an estimated $75 million, becoming the second highest earning celebrity under 30 according to Forbes. As the world's best-selling artist of 2013, the group was named the Global Recording Artist of the Year by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. In 2014, Billboard named the band "Artist of the Year". Forbes ranked them as the fourth highest-earning celebrities in the world in 2015, and second in 2016.
One Direction’s fourth studio album, the aptly titled Four, is only one week away, and the guys have stoked fan anticipation by releasing another rock anthem on iTunes to preview the new full-length.
Previously released tracks “Steal My Girl” and “Ready To Run” suggested that Four was going to be a guitar-heavy follow-up to last year’s Midnight Memories, and “Where Do Broken Hearts Go” continues down the road of big chords and harmonies designed to echo through stadiums. Belinda Carlisle’s “Heaven is a Place on Earth” is an obvious point of reference, but One Direction also sounds like it’s trying to swallow all of popular music in the 1980’s — from Journey to George Michael to “Like A Prayer” — on the song.
Counted all my mistakes and there’s only one
Standing up from the list of the things I’ve done
All the rest of my crimes don’t come close
To the look on your face when I let you go

So I built you a house from a broken home
Then I wrote you a song with the words you spoke
Yeah, it took me some time but I figured out
How to fix up a heart that I let down

Now I’m searching every lonely place
Every corner calling out your name
Trynna find you but I just don’t know
Where do broken hearts go?
Where do broken hearts go?

Yeah, the taste of your lips on the tip of my tongue
It’s at the top of the list of the things I want
Mind is running in circles of you and me
Anyone in between is the enemy

Shadows come with the pain that you’re running from
Love was something you never heard enough
Yeah, it took me some time but I figured out
How to fix up a heart that I let down

Now I’m searching every lonely place
Every corner calling out your name
Trynna find you but I just don’t know
Where do broken hearts go?

Are you sleeping, baby, by yourself?
Or are you giving it to someone else?
Trynna find you but I just don’t know
Where do broken hearts go?
Where do broken hearts go?

Tell me now, tell me now
Tell me where you go when you feel afraid?
Where do broken hearts go?

Tell me now, tell me now
Tell me will you ever love me again?
Love me again?

Now I’m searching every lonely place
Every corner calling out your name
Trynna find you but I just don’t know
Where do broken hearts go?

Are you sleeping, baby, by yourself?
Or are you giving it to someone else?
Trynna find you but I just don’t know
Where do broken hearts go?

Tell me where you’re hiding now?
Where do broken hearts go?
Come on, baby, 'cause I need you now
Where do broken hearts go?
Tell me, 'cause I’m 10 feet down
Where do broken hearts go?

Come on, baby, come and get me out
Come on, baby, come and get me out
Come on, baby, 'cause I need you now

Where do broken hearts go?
Where do broken hearts go?
Where do broken hearts go?
Where do broken hearts go?
