Les mois d'août au
matin
J'ai la gorge serrée
Pas envie de me lever
Mes volets condamnés
Je t'ai prié tout l'été
Tu n'es jamais revenu
Un jour tu m'as quitté
Et tu as disparu
Quand vient décembre au soir
Je m'attache à penser
Qu'à la nouvelle année
Tu voudrais me revoir
Je t'ai prié tout l'hiver
Tu n'es jamais rentré
J'ai du croire le contraire
Oui, je me suis trompée
Les saisons se traînent
à ma place
Me laissant seule en face à face
Face à je ne sais quoi
A nos amours que le temps chasse
Tout se dissout mais rien n'efface
Le souvenir de toi
Le souvenir de toi
L'automne à la
fenêtre
N'a de sens sans toi
Mes lundis se répètent
A te chanter tout bas
Je garde les peut-être
Qui me retiennent à toi
Si précieuses sont les miettes
Qu'il me reste de ça
Les saisons se
traînent à ma place
Me laissant seule en face à face
Face à je ne sais quoi
A nos amours que le temps chasse
Tout se dissout mais rien n'efface
Le souvenir de toi
Le souvenir de toi
Le souvenir de toi
Valsent les amours
mortes
Qui fleurissent les blés
J'attends devant ma porte
Je te laisse t'en aller.

The Bee Gees were a music group formed in
1958, featuring brothers Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb. The
trio were especially successful as a popular music act in the late 1960s and
early 1970s, and later as prominent performers of the discomusic era in the mid- to late 1970s. The group sang recognisable
three-part tight harmonies; Robin's
clear vibratolead vocals
were a hallmark of their earlier hits, while Barry's R&Bfalsettobecame their signature sound during the mid- to late 1970s and
1980s. The
Bee Gees wrote all of their own hits, as well as writing and producing several
major hits for other artists. The Bee Gees have occasionally
been referred to as The
Disco Kings.
Born on the Isle of Manto English parents, the Gibb brothers lived in Chorlton, Manchester,
England until the late 1950s. There, in 1955, they formed the skiffle/rock and
roll group the
Rattlesnakes. The family then moved to Redcliffe,
in the Moreton Bay Region, Queensland,
Australia, and then to Cribb Island.
After achieving their first chart success in Australia as the Bee Gees with
"Spicks and
Specks" (their 12th single), they returned to
the UK in January 1967, when producer Robert Stigwoodbegan promoting them to a worldwide audience. The Bee Gees' Saturday
Night Fever soundtrack(1977) was the
turning point of their career, with both the film and soundtrack having a
cultural impact throughout the world, enhancing the disco scene's mainstream
appeal. They won five Grammy Awardsfor Saturday Night Fever, including Album of the
Year.
The Bee Gees have sold over 120 million
records worldwide (with estimates as high as over 220 million), making them
among the best-selling
music artists of all time. They were inducted into
the Rock and Roll
Hall of Famein 1997; the presenter of the award
to "Britain's
First Family of Harmony" was Brian Wilson, historical
leader of the Beach Boys, another
"family act" featuring three harmonising brothers. The Bee Gees' Hall
of Fame citation says, "Only Elvis Presley,
the Beatles, Michael Jackson, Garth Brooksand Paul McCartneyhave outsold the Bee Gees." With nine #1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100The Bee Gees are the third-most successful band in Billboard chartshistory behind only The Beatlesand The Supremes.
Following
Maurice's sudden death in January 2003 at the age of 53, Barry and Robin
retired the group's name after 45 years of activity. In 2009,
Robin announced that he and Barry had agreed that the Bee Gees would re-form
and perform again. Robin died in May 2012, aged 62, after a prolonged period of
failing health, leaving Barry as the only surviving member of the group.
"Lonely Days" is a balladwritten and
performed by the Bee Gees. It
appeared on their álbum 2 Years On, and was
released as a single, becoming their first Top Five hit in the US, peaking at
number three in the Billboard Hot 100and reaching number one in the Cashboxand Record Worldcharts. Barry Gibblater
re-recorded the song with country quartet Little Big Townfor his
2021 album Greenfields.
Good morning mister
sunshine, you brighten up my day
Come sit beside me in your way
I see you every morning, outside the restaurants
The music plays so nonchalant
Lonely days, lonely
nights.
Where would I be without my woman?
Lonely days, lonely
nights.
Where would I be without my woman?
Lonely days, lonely
nights.
Where would I be without my woman?
Lonely days, lonely
nights.
Where would I be without my woman?
Lonely days, lonely
nights
Where would I be without my woman?
Good morning mister
sunshine, you brighten up my day
Come sit beside me in your way
Lonely days, lonely
nights
Where would I be without my woman?
Lonely days, lonely nights
Where would I be without my woman?
Lonely days, lonely
nights
Where would I be without my woman?
Lonely days, lonely nights
Where would I be without my woman?

Richie went on a long hiatus, not releasing an album of entirely new material
for another ten years.
I say
What is happening here
Something's going on that's not quite clear
Somebody turn on the lights, yeah
We're gonna have a party
It's starting tonight
Oh, what a feeling
When we're dancing on the ceiling
Oh, what a feeling
When we're dancing on the ceiling
The room is hot and
that's good (and that's good)
Some of my friends came by from the neighborhood
The people startin' a climb the walls
Ooh it looks like everybody is having a ball
Woo-oh, what a feeling (oh, what a feeling)
When we're dancing on the ceiling
Woo-oh, what a feeling
When we're dancing on the ceiling
Oh, what a feeling (oh, what a feeling)
When we're dancing on the ceiling (we're dancing on the ceiling)
Woo-oh, what a feeling (Woo-oh, what a feeling)
When we're dancing on the ceiling (we're dancing on the ceiling, yeah)
Woo
Come on!
Everybody start to lose control
When the music is right
If you see somebody
If you see somebody hangin' around
Don't get uptight
The only thing we want to do tonight
Is go 'round and 'round
And turn upside down, yeah
Come on!
So come on! (Yeah,
come on)
Let's get loose
Don't hold back
'Cause ain't no use (ain't no use)
It's hard to keep your feet on the ground
'Cause when we like to party
We only want to get down
Woo-oh, what a feeling
When we're dancing on the ceiling
Woo-oh, what a feeling
When we're dancing on the ceiling
Woo-oh, what a feeling (oh, what a feeling)
When we're dancing on the ceiling (when we're dancing on the ceiling)
Oh, what a feeling (oh, what a feeling)
Dancing (when we're dancing on the ceiling)
Dancing
Dancing
Dancing
She's dancing
Dancing
Dancing
Dancing
Dancing
Dancing
Dancing
Dancing on the ceiling
Woo-oh
Woo-oh
Woo-oh (dancing)
Woo-oh (dancing)
Woo-oh
Woo-oh
Oh, yeah
Good job my brothers.
