Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh

Girl, you're gorgeous
You know you might not always feel like it
But you are
And you're worth it (yeah)
I assure you
I will dye my hair in crazy colors
Just to make you smile

I'll take you out tonight
Throw away your phone
Don't care about your boyfriend waking up alone
I'll take you out tonight
Leave it all at home
Don't care about your boyfriend waking up alone

Whoa, oh, oh
I just wanna spend the nights with you
Do it like your mother said not to do
Every time I hear the phone ring
I feel the same thing, I feel the same thing
I just wanna spend the nights with you
With you, with you, with you

Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh (hey)
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh (yeah, yeah)

Lose attention
Even though the world is mad
And you feel out of control
But you're the best at
When you let it off
By banging your head
And putting your hands up in the air, oh babe

I'll take you out tonight
Throw away your phone
Don't care about your boyfriend waking up alone
I'll take you out tonight
Leave it at home
Don't care about your boyfriend waking up alone

Whoa, oh, oh
I just wanna spend the nights with you
Do it like your mother said not to do
Every time I hear the phone ring
I feel the same thing, I feel the same thing
I just wanna spend the nights with you
With you, with you, with you

Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
I just wanna spend the nights with you
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh

Vous, qui cherchez l'étoile
Vous, quie vivez on rêves
Vous, héro de l'espace
Ton coeur, plus grand que la terre
Vous, donnez moi ma chance
Emmène moi, loin d'ici

Ne partez pas sans moi
Laissez moi vous suivre
Vous qui vollez vers d'autres villes
Laissez moi vivre
La plus belle aventure
Le plus beau voyage
Qui mène un jour sur des soleils
Sur des planètes d'amour

Vous, les nouveaux poètes
Vous, les oiseaux magiques
Vous, vous allez peut-êtres
Trouver, de nouvelles musiques
Vous, donnez moi ma chance
Je veux chanter, moi aussi

Ne partez pas sans moi
Laissez moi vous suivre
Vous qui vollez vers d'autres villes
Laissez moi vivre

SUMMER SUNSHINE

THE CORRS
SONGWRITERS: JAMES CORR; SHARON CORR; CAROLINE CORR & ANDREA JANE CORR
COUNTRY: IRELAND
ALBUM: BORROWED HEAVEN
LABEL: ATLANTIC RECORDS
GENRE: POP ROCK
YEAR: 2004

The Corrs are an Irish family band that combine pop rock with traditional Irish themes within their music. The group consists of the Corr siblings, Andrea(lead vocals, tin whistle, ukulele), Sharon (violin, keyboards, vocals), Caroline(drums, percussion, piano, bodhrán, vocals) and Jim(guitar, piano, keyboards, vocals). They are from Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland.
The Corrs have released seven studio albums and numerous singles, which have reached Platinum in many countries, and have sold 40 million albums worldwide. Talk on Corners, their most successful album to date, reached multi-Platinum status in Australia, and in the UK it was the highest selling album of the year. The band is one of only a handful of acts who have held the top two positions simultaneously in the UK album charts, with Talk on Corners at number one and Forgiven, Not Forgotten at number two. The latter was the year's third highest selling album in Australia. Their third studio album, In Blue, went to number one in seventeen countries.
The Corrs have been actively involved in philanthropic activities. They have performed in numerous charity concerts, such as The Prince's Trust event in 2004 and Live 8 alongside Bono of U2 in 2005. The same year, they were awarded honorary MBEs for their contributions to music and charity. The band was inactive for almost 10 years because Jim and Caroline were raising families, while Andrea and Sharon were pursuing solo careers while raising families of their own. According to Sharon, it was uncertain if and when The Corrs would reunite. Rumours of a reunion sparked in early 2015 and in a radio interview with Chris Evans in June 2015, Andrea confirmed that The Corrs were working on a new album and would play the BBC Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park festival. Their sixth studio album, White Light, was released on 27 November 2015, and was accompanied by a European tour. After two years, their seventh studio album, Jupiter Calling, was released on 10 November 2017.
"Summer Sunshine" is a song by Irish band the Corrs, the opening track from their fourth studio album, Borrowed Heaven (2004). The song was released as the album's first single on 26 April 2004, reaching number 12 in the band's native Ireland and number six on the UK Singles Chart. It continued the band's string of top-50 hits in Australia, peaking at number 13 and becoming their last charting hit there. In Hungary, "Summer Sunshine" reached number one for two weeks. Elsewhere, the song reached number two in Spain and peaked within the top 20 in Italy and the Netherlands. The music video was directed by Kevin Godley.
Everyone's changing I stay the same, I'm?
A solo cello outside a chorus
I've got a secret
It's time for me to tell that you've been keeping me warm

Just sweet beginnings and bitter endings
In coffee city we borrowed heaven
Don't give it back, I've never felt so wanted
Are you taking me home?
You tell me you have to go?

In the heat of summer sunshine
I miss you like nobody else
In the heat of summer sunshine
I kiss you and nobody needs to know

Now that you've left me, there's no returning
I keep comparing, you're always winning
I try to be strong but you'll never be more wanted
Will you make me at home?
Don't tell me you have to go!

In the heat of summer sunshine
I miss you like nobody else
In the heat of summer sunshine
I kiss you and nobody needs to know

To sweet beginnings and bitter endings
In coffee city we borrowed heaven
Don't give it back
Winter is coming and I need to stay warm
The heat...

In the heat of summer sunshine
I miss you like nobody else
In the heat of summer sunshine
I kiss you and nobody knows
In the heat of summer sunshine
I miss you like nobody else
In the heat of summer sunshine
I kiss you and nobody needs to know
Summer sunshine, sunshine...

INSIDE LOOKING OUT

ALBUM: inside looking out “the1965-1966 sessions”

Year: 1991

The Animals(also billed as Eric Burdon and the Animals) are an English rhythm and blues and rock band, formed in Newcastle upon Tyne in the early 1960s. The band moved to London upon finding fame in 1964. The Animals were known for their gritty, bluesy sound and deep-voiced frontman Eric Burdon, as exemplified by their signature song and transatlantic number-one hit single, "The House of the Rising Sun", as well as by hits such as "We Gotta Get Out of This Place", "It's My Life", "Don't Bring Me Down", "I'm Crying", "See See Rider", and "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood". The band balanced tough, rock-edged pop singles against rhythm and blues-oriented album material and were part of the British Invasion of the US.
The Animals underwent numerous personnel changes in the mid-1960s, and suffered from poor business management, leading the original incarnation to split up in 1966. Burdon assembled a mostly new lineup of musicians under the name Eric Burdon and the Animals; the much-changed act moved to California and achieved commercial success as a psychedelic and hard rock band with hits such as "San Franciscan Nights", "When I Was Young", and "Sky Pilot", before disbanding at the end of the decade. Altogether, the group had 10 top-20 hits in both the UK Singles Chart and the US Billboard Hot 100.
The original lineup of Burdon, Alan Price, Chas Chandler, Hilton Valentine, and John Steel reunited for a one-off benefit concert in Newcastle in 1968. They later had brief comebacks in 1975 and 1983. Several partial regroupings of the original-era members have occurred since then under various names. The Animals were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994.
I'm sitting here lonely like a broken man
I serve my time doin' the best I can
Walls and bars they surround me
But, I don't want no sympathy

No baby, no baby
All I need is some tender lovin'
To keep me sane in this burning oven
And, when my time is up, you'll be my reefer

Life gets worse on God's green Earth
Be my reefer, got to keep smokin' that thing
No, no, no, no, no, no
No, no, no, no, no, no, no

I said now baby, baby let me smoke it smoke it
Makes me feel good feel good, yes, I feel good ah
Yes, I feel alright (feel alright) yes, I feel alright (I feel alright)
Yes, I feel alright ah
Oh

Ice cold water is runnin' through my veins
They try and drag me back to work again
Pain and blisters on my mind and hands
I work all day making up burlap bags

The oats they're feeding me are driving me wild
I feel unhappy like a new born child
Now, when my time is up, you wait and see
These walls and bars won't keep that stuff from me

No, no, baby
Won't keep that stuff from me
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
No, no, no, no, no, no, no

I need you right now mama
I need you right now baby
Right by my side, honey
All night long
Make me feel alright
Yes, yes, yes

You better come on up and get down with me
I'll make you feel real good, just you wait and see
Make me feel alright yes, I feel alright
Yes, yes, yes, alright.
