    Canadian country singer Anne Murray was unaware Dusty Springfield had recorded "I Just Fall in Love Again" just 6 months prior. Springfield was one of Murray's favourite singers, and has said "If I had known (springfield) had released it as a single, I never would have recorded it" as Murray's version of the song largely overshadowed Springfield's. She released it in early 1979, on her Platinum-selling album New Kind of Feeling.

        Murray released her version as a single, and it topped Billboard's Country and Adult Contemporary charts for three weeks, while reaching number 11 on the Cash Box Top 100 and number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

          It was the first of three successive number one Country hits and four consecutive number one Adult Contemporary hits during 1979 and 1980. Though Murray loves the song, she is quoted in The Billboard Book of Number One Adult Contemporary Hits as saying she was surprised at its success on the Country charts, as she didn't feel the song sounded very "country". Nevertheless, Billboard ranked it as the number one Country hit of 1979. Murray included the song as a posthumous duet with Dusty Springfield on her own 2007 album Duets: Friends & Legends.

               Maureen Therese McGovern(born July 27, 1949) is an American singer and Broadway actress, well known for her renditions of the songs "The Morning After" from the 1972 film The Poseidon Adventure; "We May Never Love Like This Again" from The Towering Inferno in 1974; and her No. 1 Billboard adult contemporary hit "Different Worlds", the theme song from the television series Angie.

      Claude François, surnommé «Cloclo», né le 1er février 1939 à Ismaïlia(Égypte) et mort accidentellement le 11 mars 1978 à Paris 16e, a ÉtAIT un chanteur, danseur, musicien et producteur musical français des années 1960 et 1970.

         Lors de ses quinze années de carrière, il est un des artistes français les plus appréciés du public. Nombre de ses chansons sont restées célèbres, comme Belles ! Belles! Belles!, Cette année-là, Le Lundi au soleil, Le téléphone pleure, Magnolias for Ever, Alexandrie Alexandra ou encore Comme d'habitude(My Way en version anglaise).

       Le téléphone pleure est une chanson interprétée par Claude François en duo avec la petite Frédérique Barkoff, fille de sa comptable Nicole Gruyer et de l'agent artistique Jean-Paul Barkoff, publiée par les disques Flèche en octobre 1974.

          Les paroles sont de Frank Thomas et la musique de Jean-Pierre Bourtayre. Elle est inspirée d'une chanson américaine de George Jones et Tammy Wynette, The Telephone Call, sortie début 1974 sur l'album George and Tammy and Tina1. Toutefois, il y a une différence entre les deux chansons, dans le scénario. La version qu'interprète Claude François a été inspirée par Jean-Pierre Bourtayre, qui venait de voir le film L'Épouvantail, où l'on voit dans une scène Al Pacino parler avec sa fille au téléphone, alors qu'elle-même ignore que celui qui lui parle est son père. Dans The Telephone Call, la fille sait que celui qui lui parle est son père.

          The Corrs are an Irish family band that combine pop rock with traditional Irish themes within their music. The group consists of the Corr siblings, Andrea(lead vocals, tin whistle, ukulele), Sharon(violin, keyboards, vocals), Caroline(drums, percussion, piano, bodhrán, vocals) and Jim(guitar, piano, keyboards, vocals). They are from Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland.

        The Corrs have released seven studio albums and numerous singles, which have reached Platinum in many countries, and have sold 40 million albums worldwide. Talk on Corners, their most successful album to date, reached multi-Platinum status in Australia, and in the UK it was the highest selling album of the year. The band is one of only a handful of acts who have held the top two positions simultaneously in the UK album charts, with Talk on Corners at number one and Forgiven, Not Forgotten at number two. The latter was the year's third highest selling album in Australia. Their third studio album, In Blue, went to number one in seventeen countries.

    The Corrs have been actively involved in philanthropic activities. They have performed in numerous charity concerts, such as The Prince's Trust event in 2004 and Live 8 alongside Bono of U2 in 2005. The same year, they were awarded honorary MBEs for their contributions to music and charity. The band was inactive for almost ten years because Jim and Caroline were raising families, while Andrea and Sharon were pursuing solo careers while raising families of their own. According to Sharon, it was uncertain if and when The Corrs would reunite. Rumours of a reunion sparked in early 2015 and in a radio interview with Chris Evans in June 2015, Andrea confirmed that The Corrs were working on a new album and would play the BBC Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park festival. Their sixth studio album, White Light, was released on 27 November 2015, and was accompanied by a European tour. After two years, their seventh studio album, Jupiter Calling, was released on 10 November 2017.

         "What Can I Do" is a song by Irish band the Corrs, from their breakthrough album Talk on Corners(1997). The song was originally released in January 1998, but its moderate charting success was limited, due to the time of the shooting of the video. However, it was later re-released in August that year in a remixed form by Tin Tin Out, which generated more attention, particularly in the UK where it reached Nº 3, and became one of the band's most known hits worldwide. The song received generally favorable reviews from music critics, some of whom felt it was not as strong as their previous songs. An accompanying music video was released, which was shot in New Zealand during their world tour.
