I CANNOT GET INFORMATION ABOUT THE SINGER AND THE MUSIC.
I’d wake up every morning
I see the Sun rise every day
I’d wake up every morning
I see the Sun rise every day

You know I‘ll never get more sleep at night
Not till the moonlight fades away
A little love from you honey
That’s all ever really need
A little love from you honey
That’s all ever really need

Just some peace and understanding baby
You will put my poor heart, my poor heart at ease
If you ask me to jump, baby
You know I would fly
If you ask me to jump, baby
You know I would fly
And if you ask me to shoot myself woman
You know that I would surely die

I sit around all night
I drink away I drink away my blues
I sit around around all night
I drink away I drink away my blues
But ain’t enough whiskey baby
To drink away my love for you.

I left my hometown, baby
There'll be big things going down
I done left my hometown, baby
There'll be big things going down
Now in this late afternoon
It ain’t none too soon

I hit that big city, baby
The streets be paved with gold
I hit the big city, baby
The streets here, made of gold
I’m standing on my own
Them streets be dirty and cold

Here I am in the city
I should've stayed at home
Here I am in the city
And I’m standing alone
What I see ain’t so pretty
Surely turn me to stone.

DIDO
SONGWRITER: DIDO ARMSTRONG
COUNTRY: U. K.
ALBUM: LIFE FOR RENT
LABEL: CHEEKY RECORDS
GENRE: FOLK POP
YEAR: 2003

Florian Cloud de Bounevialle O'Malley Armstrong (born 25 December 1971), known professionally as Dido(/ˈdaɪdoʊ/DY-doh), is an English singer and songwriter. She attained international success with her debut álbum No Angel(1999). Hit singles from the album include "Here with Me" and "Thank You". It sold over 21 million copies worldwide, and won her several awards, including two Brit Awards: Best British Female and Best British Album, and the MTV Europe Music Award for Best New Act. The first verse of "Thank You" is sampled in "Stan", a collaboration with American rapper Eminem. Her next album, Life for Rent(2003), continued her success with the hit singles "White Flag" and "Life for Rent". In 2004, Dido performed with other British and Irish artists in the Band Aid 20 version of the charity single "Do They Know It's Christmas?".
Dido's first two albums are among the best-selling albums in UK chart history, and both are in the top 10 best-selling albums of the 2000s in the UK. Her third studio album, Safe Trip Home(2008), received critical acclaim but failed to duplicate the commercial success of her previous efforts. She was nominated for na Academy Award for the song "If I Rise". Dido was ranked Nº 98 on the Billboard chart of the top Billboard 200 artists of the 2000s(2000–2009) based on the success of her albums in the first decade of the 21st century.
Dido made a comeback in 2013, releasing her fourth studio álbum Girl Who Got Away, which reached the top 5 in the UK. Having taken time out of the music industry to raise her son, she reappeared on stage at the 2013 Reading and Leeds festival where she reunited with Eminem. Dido released her fifth studio album, Still on My Mind, on 8 March 2019 and embarked on her first tour in 15 years in support of the new album.
In May 2019, Dido received the Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Song Collection from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers, and Authors.
Life for Rent is the second studio album by English singer Dido, released by Arista Records on 29 September 2003. The album was produced by Rollo Armstrong and American songwriter Rick Nowels. Work on the album began in mid-2002. It was certified 9×Platinum by the BPI, and sold over 12 million copies worldwide, making it the fourth best-selling album worldwide of 2003. The album became the seventh best-selling album of the 2000s in the UK, making Dido the only singer to have two albums in the Top 10 list.
As of 2015 Life for Rent is the 34th best-selling album in UK chart history. In 2019 it was listed the 15th best-selling album of the 21st century in the UK
I'm coming round to open the blinds
You can't hide here any longer
My god you need to rinse those puffy eyes
You can't lie still any longer
And yes they'll ask where you've been
And you'll have to tell them, again and again

And you probably don't want to hear tomorrow's another day
But I promise you you'll see the sun again
And you're asking me why pain's the only way to happiness
And I promise you you'll see the sun again

Come on take my hand
We're going for a walk, I know you can
You can wear anything, as long as it's not black
Please don't mourn forever, she's not coming back
And yes they'll ask where you've been
And you'll have to tell them again and again

And you probably don't want to hear tomorrow's another day
But I promise you you'll see the sun again
Abd you're asking me why pain's the only way to happiness
And I promise you you'll see the sun again
And I promise you you'll see the sun again

Do you remember telling me you'd found the sweetest thing of all
You said that one day of this was worth dying for
So be thankful you kew her at all
But it's no more

And you probably don't want to hear tomorrow's another day
But I promise you you'll see the sun again
And you're asking me why pains the only way to happiness
And I promise you you'll see the sun again
And I promise you you'll see the sun again.

SAY YOU'LL BE THERE

SPICE GIRLS
SONGWRITERS: KENNEDY ELIOT JOHN; BECKHAM VICTORIA CAROLINE; HALLIWELL GERALDINE ESTELLE; BUNTON EMMA LEE; BUCK JONATHAN DAVID; BROWN MELANIE JANINE & CHISHOLM MELANIE JAYNE
COUNTRY: U. K.
ALBUM: SPICE(25TH ANNIVERSARY)
LABEL: UNIVERSAL MUSIC
GENRE: POP
YEAR: 1996

The Spice Girls are a British girl group formed in 1994. The group comprises Melanie Brown, also known as Mel B ("Scary Spice"), Melanie Chisholm, or Melanie C ("Sporty Spice"), Emma Bunton("Baby Spice"), Geri Halliwell("Ginger Spice") and Victoria Beckham("Posh Spice"). With their "girl power" mantra, the Spice Girls redefined the girl group concept by targeting a young female fanbase. They led the teen pop resurgence of the 1990s, were major parts of the Cool Britannia and Second British Invasion movements, and became pop culture icons of the decade.
The Spice Girls formed through auditions held by managers Bob and Chris Herbert, who wanted to create a girl group to compete with the British boy bands popular at the time. They signed to Virgin Records and released their debut single "Wannabe" in 1996, which reached number one in the charts of 37 countries. Their debut album, Spice(1996), sold more than 23 million copies worldwide, becoming the best-selling album by a female group in history. The follow-up, Spiceworld(1997) sold more than 14 million copies worldwide. Both albums encapsulated the group's dance-pop style and message of female empowerment, with vocal and songwriting contributions shared equally by the members. In 1997, a film starring the Spice Girls, Spice World, was released; it was a critical flop but a commercial success.
In May 1998, Halliwell left the Spice Girls, citing exhaustion and creative differences. Forever(2000), the only Spice Girls album without Halliwell, achieved weaker sales. At the end of 2000, the Spice Girls entered a hiatus to concentrate on their solo careers. They reunited for two concert tours, the Return of the Spice Girls(2007–2008) and Spice World(2019), both of which won the Billboard Live Music Award for highest-grossing engagements. Viva Forever!, a musical based on the Spice Girls' music, opened in 2012; it was a critical and commercial flop and closed in 2013.
Measures of the Spice Girls' success include international record sales, iconic symbolism such as Halliwell's Union Jack dress, a major motion picture, Spice World (1997), and the highest-grossing concert tours by an all-female group from 2000 to 2020. Under the guidance of their mentor and manager Simon Fuller, their endorsement deals and merchandise made them one of most successful marketing engines ever, with a global gross income estimated at $500–800 million by May 1998. Their media exposure, according to Music Week writer Paul Gorman, helped usher in an era of celebrity obsession in pop culture.
The Spice Girls have sold 100 million records worldwide, making them the bestselling girl group of all time, one of the bestselling artists, and the most successful British pop act since the Beatles. Their awards include five Brit Awards, three American Music Awards, four Billboard Music Awards, three MTV Europe Music Awards and one MTV Video Music Award. In 2000, they became the youngest recipients of the Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music. According to Rolling Stone journalist and biographer David Sinclair, the Spice Girls were the most widely recognised group since the Beatles.
Oh, say you'll be there

I'm giving you everything
All that joy can bring
This I swear

Last time that we had this conversation
I decided we should be friends, hey
But now, we're going 'round in circles
Tell me will this déjà vu never end, oh
And now you tell me that you're falling in love
Well I never ever thought that would be, eh
This time, you gotta take it easy
Throwing far too much emotions at me

But any fool can see they're falling
I gotta make you understand

I'm giving you everything
All that joy can bring
This I swear (I'll give you everything)
And all that I want from you
Is a promise you will be there
Say you will be there, ow
Say you will be there
Won't you sing it with me

If you put two and two together
You will see what our friendship is for, oh
If you can't work this equation
Then I guess I'll have to show you the door
There is no need to say you love me
It would be better left unsaid

I'm (I'm) giving you everything (I'll give you everything)
All that joy can bring (All that joy can bring)
This I swear (Yes, I swear)
And (And) all that I want from you (All I want from you)
Is a promise you'll be there (Is a promise you)
Yeah, I want you

Any fool can see they're falling
I gotta make you understand

I'll give you everything, on this I swear
Just promise you'll always be there

I'm giving you everything (I'm giving you everything)
All that joy can bring (All that joy can bring)
This I swear (Yes, I swear)
And all that I want from you (All that I want from you)
Is a promise you (I want you to promise to)
Will be there (Always be there)

I'm giving you everything (I'm giving you everything)
All that joy can bring (All that joy can bring)
This I swear (Yes, I swear)
And all that I want from you (All that I want from you)
Is a promise you (I want you to promise to)
Will be there (Always be there)

I'm giving you everything (I'm giving you everything)
All that joy can bring (All that joy can bring)
This I swear (Yes, I swear)
And all that I want from you (All that I want from you)
Is a promise you (I want you to promise to)
Will be there.
