Henrik Freischlader(born 3 November 1982) is a German blues guitarist, singer-songwriter, producer, and autodidactic multi-instrumentalist from Wuppertal, Germany.
Henrik Freischlader has been the supporting act for Joe Bonamassa, B.B. King, the late Gary Moore, Peter Green, Johnny Winter and other blues legends.
His style of music cannot be considered pure blues. He often blends in musical styles such as rock, jazz, soul, and funk, even though blues is the basis of all of his songs. His guitar-playing is influenced by Gary Moore, Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B. King, Peter Green, Albert Collins and Albert King. As he grew up, Freischlader taught himself how to play drums, bass guitar, guitar and other instruments.
Since his first album, Henrik Freischlader has been using Realtone amplifiers culminating in a signature amp. Freischlader's main guitar is a Haar Stratocaster copy in sunburst that has a Fender decal on its headstock. Further, he uses various Gibson Les Pauls and a Fender Telecaster.

I've got it good to have you by my side
I've got it good to have you in my life
So all the money in the world
Diamonds and pearls
Can't give me that kind of pride
I've got it good to have you by my side

And you know I've got it good
To have a love so sweet
When life is cold I still can feel the heat

So whatever people may say
Or throw in my way
Won't knock me off my feet
'Cause I've got it good to have a love so sweet

But now and then I get that feeling
Feeling sad and blue
Somehow the only way to lift me up is you
I've got it good to wake up in your arms

You turn around and you give me all your charms
So all the time that we waste
Is just a little taste
Of living in paradise
I've got it good to have you by my side.

Love is a lie
Sucking you dry
Love's not a friend
Until the end

You can call it a game
You can choose your own name
When it's stuck in the vein
There's no greater pain

I've got a bell but no sound
I've got a horse, but no hound
And I know why, know why

Love is a lie
Love is a lie
Love is a lie
And I know I'm going down

Now there was a time
Love was blowing my mind
Not a tear, not a doubt
'Til I figured it out

Now I'm madder than hell
Love is wagging its tail
I holler, I cry
Love is a lie

I've got a bell with no ring
I've got a whip, but no spank
And I know why, know why...

Love is a lie
Love is a lie
Love is a lie
And I know I'm going...
You can call it a game
But there's no greater pain
When it's stuck in the vein
I know I'm going down

I've got a bell, but no sound
I've got a horse, but no hound
And I know why, know why I'm going down.

I've been in love so many times
Thought I knew the score
But now you've treated me so wrong
I can't take anymore

And it looks like
I'm never gonna fall in love again
Fall in love, I'm never gonna fall in love
I mean it, gonna fall in love
I mean it, fall in love again

All those things I heard about you
I thought they were only lies
But when I caught you in his arms, babe
I just broke down and cried

And it looks like
I'm never gonna fall in love again
Fall in love, no, I'm never gonna fall in love
I mean it, fall in love again.

I gave my heart so easily
I cast aside my pride
But when you fell for someone else, baby
I broke up all inside

And it looks like
I'm never gonna fall in love again
That's why I'm singin'
Fall in love
No, I'm never gonna fall in love
Please don't make me fall in love again.

The sun's still warm and most days are good
The world still turns like you said it would
But this pain seems to never let me go
And there is really no movin' on
There's only going along

And I will always be
Better for you loving me
Better for the times we shared
That travel with me everywhere

And I will always try
To hold my head up to the sky
If only just to let you know
That straight from my heart
I still miss you so

If I could I would gladly trade
A thousand tomorrows for one yesterday
There are so many things that I would say
You're a part of every memory
That lives on in me.
