UB40 are an English reggae and pop band, formed in December 1978 in Birmingham, England. The band has had more than 50 singles in the UK Singles Chart, and has also achieved considerable international success. They have been nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album four times, and in 1984 were nominated for the Brit Award for Best British Group. UB40 have sold over 70 million records worldwide. The ethnic make-up of the band's original line-up was diverse, with musicians of English, Welsh, Irish, Jamaican, Scottish, and Yemeni parentage.
Their hit singles include their debut "Food for Thought" and two Billboard Hot 100 number ones with "Red Red Wine" and "Can't Help Falling in Love". Both of these also topped the UK Singles Chart, as did the band's version of "I Got You Babe". Their two most successful albums, Labour of Love(1983) and Promises and Lies(1993), reached number one on the UK Albums Chart. UB40 and the English ska band Madness hold the record for most weeks spent by a group in the UK singles chart during the 1980s, with 214 weeks each.
The band's line-up was stable for nearly 29 years, from March 1979 until January 2008, when frontman Ali Campbell left the band, followed shortly thereafter by keyboardist Mickey Virtue. Another member, Astro, remained with the band until November 2013, when he departed the original band to team up with Campbell and Virtue in a new version of UB40. In 2014, legal advice was sought by the original band (now consisting of remaining co-founding members drummer Jimmy Brown, guitarist Robin Campbell, bassist Earl Falconer, percussionist Norman Hassan, and saxophonist Brian Travers, along with new vocalist Duncan Campbell) who took action against the group containing Campbell, Virtue, and Astro over usage of the band name, due to it being used by both parties. On 5 July 2021, it was announced that Matt Doyle (formerly of the reggae band Kioko) would become the band's new vocalist, following Duncan Campbell's retirement due to ill health. Travers died from cancer on 22 August 2021, and Astro died on 6 November 2021 following a short illness.
Labour of Love II is the ninth album and second covers album by UB40, released in 1989. The album contained two Top Tem Billboard Hot 100 hits – "Here I Am (Come and Take Me)" peaked at Nº 7, "The Way You Do the Things You Do" peaked at Nº 6 – and "Kingston Town" reached Nº 4 on the UK singles chart.

The tears from my eyes keep on falling
'Cause you are leaving, leaving with another
The things that we've done together
I'll always remember though you're with another, baby
The tears from my eyes keep on falling
'Cause you are leaving, leaving with another
The things that we've done together
I'll always remember though you're with another, baby

I've done everything one man can do, girl
Said every word one man can say
The thing that we had has gone astray, girl
I'm missing you from day to day

The tears from my eyes keep on falling
'Cause you are leaving, leaving with another
The things that we've done together
I'll always remember though you're with another, baby

I've done everything one man can do, girl
Said every word one man can say
The thing that we had has gone astray, girl
I'm missing you from day to day

Tears from my eyes keep on falling
'Cause you are leaving, leaving with another
The things that we've done together
I'll always remember though you're with another, baby

Tears from my eyes keep on falling
'Cause you are leaving, leaving with another
The things that we've done together
I'll always remember though you're with another, baby

Tears from my eyes keep on falling
'Cause you are leaving, leaving with another
The things that we've done together
I'll always remember though you're with another.

Henrik Freischlader(born 3 November 1982) is a German blues guitarist, singer-songwriter, producer, and autodidactic multi-instrumentalist from Wuppertal, Germany.
Henrik Freischlader has been the supporting act for Joe Bonamassa, B.B. King, the late Gary Moore, Peter Green, Johnny Winter and other blues legends.
His style of music cannot be considered pure blues. He often blends in musical styles such as rock, jazz, soul, and funk, even though blues is the basis of all of his songs. His guitar-playing is influenced by Gary Moore, Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B. King, Peter Green, Albert Collins and Albert King. As he grew up, Freischlader taught himself how to play drums, bass guitar, guitar and other instruments.
Since his first album, Henrik Freischlader has been using Realtone amplifiers culminating in a signature amp. Freischlader's main guitar is a Haar Stratocaster copy in sunburst that has a Fender decal on its headstock. Further, he uses various Gibson Les Pauls and a Fender Telecaster.

I've got it good to have you by my side
I've got it good to have you in my life
So all the money in the world
Diamonds and pearls
Can't give me that kind of pride
I've got it good to have you by my side

And you know I've got it good
To have a love so sweet
When life is cold I still can feel the heat

So whatever people may say
Or throw in my way
Won't knock me off my feet
'Cause I've got it good to have a love so sweet

But now and then I get that feeling
Feeling sad and blue
Somehow the only way to lift me up is you
I've got it good to wake up in your arms

You turn around and you give me all your charms
So all the time that we waste
Is just a little taste
Of living in paradise
I've got it good to have you by my side.

Love is a lie
Sucking you dry
Love's not a friend
Until the end

You can call it a game
You can choose your own name
When it's stuck in the vein
There's no greater pain

I've got a bell but no sound
I've got a horse, but no hound
And I know why, know why

Love is a lie
Love is a lie
Love is a lie
And I know I'm going down

Now there was a time
Love was blowing my mind
Not a tear, not a doubt
'Til I figured it out

Now I'm madder than hell
Love is wagging its tail
I holler, I cry
Love is a lie

I've got a bell with no ring
I've got a whip, but no spank
And I know why, know why...

Love is a lie
Love is a lie
Love is a lie
And I know I'm going...
You can call it a game
But there's no greater pain
When it's stuck in the vein
I know I'm going down

I've got a bell, but no sound
I've got a horse, but no hound
And I know why, know why I'm going down.

I've been in love so many times
Thought I knew the score
But now you've treated me so wrong
I can't take anymore

And it looks like
I'm never gonna fall in love again
Fall in love, I'm never gonna fall in love
I mean it, gonna fall in love
I mean it, fall in love again

All those things I heard about you
I thought they were only lies
But when I caught you in his arms, babe
I just broke down and cried

And it looks like
I'm never gonna fall in love again
Fall in love, no, I'm never gonna fall in love
I mean it, fall in love again.

I gave my heart so easily
I cast aside my pride
But when you fell for someone else, baby
I broke up all inside

And it looks like
I'm never gonna fall in love again
That's why I'm singin'
Fall in love
No, I'm never gonna fall in love
Please don't make me fall in love again.
