Antonio
Martins Correia Filho, mais
conhecido como Nico Rezende(São Paulo,
13 de outubro
de 1960),
é um cantor e compositorbrasileiro.
Cantor,
compositor e arranjador, Nico Rezende estudou violão, piano e técnica de
sintetizadores. Iniciou sua carreira tocando em orquestras, com as quais
trabalhou em bailes pelo interior do Brasil. Em 1983, Nico se muda para o Rio de Janeiro, onde passa
a atuar como tecladista na banda do cantor Ritchie.
Mais tarde, assina arranjos para discos de Marina Lima,
Gal Costa,
Roberto
Carlos, Lulu Santos, Beto Guedes,
Simone,
Zizi Possi,
Cazuza,
Barão Vermelho, Erasmo Carlos,
Kiko
Zambianchi e Dalto, entre outros.
Em
1987, grava seu primeiro LP, Nico Rezende, com destaque para sua música
"Esquece e vem" (com Paulinho Lima), tema da novela O Outro(da
Rede Globo).

Leny
de Andrade Lima, mais conhecida como Leny Andrade, (Rio de
Janeiro, 26 de janeiro de 1943) é uma cantorabrasileira.
Começou
a carreira cantando em boates, morou cinco anos no México
e passou boa parte da vida morando nos Estados
Unidos e Europa.
Participou
de programas de calouros em rádios e ganhou uma bolsa de
estudos para o Conservatório Brasileiro de Música.
Estreou profissionalmente como crooner da orquestra de Permínio Gonçalves
passando mais tarde a cantar nas boates Bacará (com o trio de Sérgio Mendes)
e Bottle's Bar, no Beco das garrafas, reduto de boêmios e músicos
do movimento musical urbano carioca surgido em 1957, a bossa nova.
Em
1965 alcançou
grande sucesso com o espetáculo Gemini V atuando com Pery Ribeiro
e o Bossa Três na boate Porão 73, lançando um disco gravado ao vivo. Leny, por
muitos foi considerada a maior cantora brasileira de jazz.

Scorpions are a German rockband formed in
1965 in Hanoverby Rudolf Schenker. Since
the band's inception, its musical style has ranged from hard rock, heavy metal, glam metal, and soft rock. The
lineup from 1978 to 1992 was the most successful incarnation of the group, and
included Klaus Meine(vocals),
Rudolf Schenker(rhythm
guitar), Matthias Jabs(lead guitar), Francis Buchholz(bass),
and Herman Rarebell(drums). The
band's only continuous member has been Schenker, although Meine has appeared on
all of Scorpions' studio albums, while Jabs has been a consistent member since
1978, and bassist Paweł Mąciwodaand drummer Mikkey Deehave
been in the band since 2003 and 2016 respectively.
During the mid-1970s, with guitarist Uli Jon Roth(who
replaced Schenker's younger brother Michael)
part of the line-up, the music of the Scorpions was defined as hard rock. After
Roth's departure in 1978, Schenker and Meine managed to take control of the
group, giving them almost all the power to compose music and write lyrics. Matthias Jabsjoined in 1978, and with the melodic rock he played and the influence
of producer Dieter Dierksin the band, the Scorpions changed their sound to melodic heavy
metal mixed with lyrical "power rock ballads",
which is evident in the album Lovedrive(1979),
which began the evolution of the band's sound, developed later in several of
their albums. Over the next decade, the band achieved influence, approval from
music critics, and significant commercial success with the albums Animal
Magnetism(1980), Blackout(1982),
Love at First
Sting(1984), the live recording World Wide Live(1985), Savage Amusement(1988),
their best-selling compilation Best of
Rockers 'n' Ballads(1989), and Crazy World(1990),
all awarded at least one platinum award in the United States. The band has
released twelve consecutive studio albums that were in the top 10 in Germany,
one of which reached Nº 1, as well as three consecutive albums that were in the
top 10 in the Billboard 200 in the United States. Their latest studio album, Rock Believer, was
released in February 2022.
Taken by Force is the fifth studio album by Germanband Scorpions,
released by RCA Recordsin 1977.
This was the first Scorpions album to feature drummer Herman Rarebelland the final studio album to feature guitarist Uli Jon Roth. Roth
left the band in 1978 following the end of the album's tour, and was at first
replaced by Michael Schenkerand later by Matthias Jabs.

The Corrs are an Irish family band that
combine pop rockwith
traditional Irish themes within their music. The group consists of the Corr
siblings, Andrea(lead
vocals, tin whistle, ukulele), Sharon(violin,
keyboards, vocals), Caroline(drums,
percussion, piano, bodhrán, vocals)
and Jim(guitar,
piano, keyboards, vocals). They are from Dundalk,
County Louth, Ireland.
The Corrs have released seven studio albumsand
numerous singles, which
have reached Platinumin many countries, and have sold 40 million albums worldwide. Talk on Corners, their
most successful album to date, reached multi-Platinum status in Australia, and
in the UK it was the highest selling album of the year. The band is one of only
a handful of acts who have held the top two positions simultaneously in the UK
album charts, with Talk on Corners at number one and Forgiven, Not
Forgottenat number two. The latter was the year's third
highest selling album in Australia. Their third studio album, In Blue, went to
number one in seventeen countries.
The
Corrs have been actively involved in philanthropic activities. They
have performed in numerous charity concerts, such as The Prince's Trustevent in 2004 and Live 8alongside Bonoof U2in 2005. The
same year, they were awarded honorary MBEsfor their contributions to music and charity. The band was inactive
for almost ten years because Jim and Caroline were raising families, while
Andrea and Sharon were pursuing solo careers while raising families of their
own. According to Sharon, it was uncertain if and when The Corrs would reunite.
Rumours of a reunion sparked in early 2015 and in a radio interview with Chris Evansin June 2015, Andrea confirmed that The Corrs were working on a new
album and would play the BBC Radio 2
Live in Hyde Park festival. Their sixth studio
album, White Light,
was released on 27 November 2015, and was accompanied by a European tour. After
two years, their seventh studio album, Jupiter
Calling, was released on 10 November 2017.
In Blue is the third studio album by Irish pop rockband The Corrs,
released in 2000 which saw the band become known in the United States. The title of the album comes from
a lyric in the song "Give Me a Reason". As well
as the UK number one single "Breathless",
the album also contains new versions of "Radio"
and "At Your Side", which had appeared on their previous álbum The Corrs
Unplugged. Mutt Langeco-wrote and produced three songs from the album.
Several of the tracks were used in various
television programmes and films: "Rebel Heart"
as the theme for the TV minisséries of the same name;
"One Night" in Mad About Mambo;
"At Your Side" in Say It Isn't
Soand the trailer for the film The Holiday; and
"All the Love in the World"
in the film America's
Sweethearts. As of 2017, the album has sold
9 million copies worldwide.
