«Cielo azul«, «Linda nena«, «La muchacha que yo quise«, «New love time«, «Taxi«,
entre otras, eran obra de Edgar. Incluso las adaptaciones al español de temas
conocidos de los Beatles, Joe Tex, James Brown…
Hoy sonríe mi corazón
Hoy por fin ha salido el sol
Todo es luz, amor e ilusión
Hoy mis ojos brillan de emoción.
Hoy el tiempo cayó
ante mis pies
Hoy he sido lo que quise ser
Hoy estoy como quise estar
Aunque estoy comenzando otra vez...
Volveré de nuevo a
intentar
Esta vez con mas fuerzas que ayer.
Solo así podré demostrar
Lo que vine anhelando hasta hoy...
-Silbidos al ritmo-
Volveré de nuevo a
intentar
Esta vez con mas fuerzas que ayer.
Solo así podré demostrar
Lo que vine anhelando hasta hoy...

J'ai dans la tête
Le bruit de ton pas
qui s'arrête
Alors je cours à la
fenêtre
Croyant que tu
reviens déjà
Et je frissonne
Dans la rue je ne
vois personne
Pourtant tout ce
bruit qui résonne
Ce n'est que mon cÅâ
ur qui bat
Parce que je t'aime
plus que moi
Tu ne sauras jamais
que j'ai pleuré
Tu ne sauras jamais
que sur le quai
Je regardais partir
Mes plus beaux
souvenirs
Qui partaient avec
toi
Toi que mon cÅâ ur
avait choisi d'aimer
Toi que mon corps ne
pouvait refuser
On dit que c'est
comme ça
Quand c'est la
première fois
Le jour emporte
Ton image que la
nuit m'apporte
Je crois que tu
frappes à ma porte
Ce n'est que le
volet qui bat
Parce que je t'aime
plus que moi
Tu ne sauras jamais
que j'ai pleuré
Tu ne sauras jamais
que sur le quai
Je regardais partir
Mes plus beaux

John R. Cash(born J. R. Cash; February 26,
1932–September 12, 2003) was an American singer, songwriter, and actor. Much of
Cash's music contained themes of sorrow, moral tribulation, and redemption,
especially in the later stages of his career. He was known for his deep, calm bass-baritonevoice, the
distinctive sound of his Tennessee
Threebacking band characterized by
train-like chugging guitar rhythms, a rebelliousness coupled with an
increasingly somber and humble demeanor, free prison concerts, and a trademark
all-black stage wardrobe which earned him the nickname"The Man in Black".
Born to poor cotton farmers in Kingsland,
Arkansas, Cash rose to fame during the mid-1950s in
the burgeoning rockabillyscene in
Memphis, Tennessee,
after four years in the Air Force.
He traditionally began his concerts by simply introducing himself, "Hello,
I'm Johnny Cash", followed by "Folsom Prison
Blues", one of his signature songs. Alongside "Folsom Prison
Blues", his other signature songs include "I Walk the
Line", "Ring of Fire", "Get Rhythm",
and "Man in Black". He also
recorded humorous numbers like "One Piece at
a Time" and "A Boy Named Sue", a
duet with his future wife Junecalled "Jackson"
(followed by many further duets after their wedding), and railroad
songssuch as "Hey, Porter",
"Orange
Blossom Special", and "Rock Island
Line". During the last stage of his career,
he covered songs by contemporary rock artists; among his most notable covers
were "Hurt"
by Nine Inch Nails, "Rusty Cage" by
Soundgarden, and
"Personal Jesus" by
Depeche Mode.
Cash is one of the best-selling
music artists of all time, having sold more than 90
million records worldwide. His genre-spanning music embraced country, rock and roll, rockabilly, blues, folk, and gospelsounds. This
crossover appeal earned him the rare honor of being inducted into the Country Music,
Rock and Roll,
and Gospel MusicHalls of Fame. His music career was dramatised in the 2005 biopic Walk the Line.
Ring of Fire: The Best of Johnny Cash is the
sixteenth album by singer-songwriter Johnny Cash,
released on Columbia Recordsin 1963 (see 1963 in music).
This album collects tracks from singles and an EP released between 1959 and
1963, Cash's first years on the Columbia label, and marked the first release of
these tracks in LP format, with the exception of "I Still Miss
Someone," which had previously appeared on the 1958 album The Fabulous
Johnny Cash. "Ring of Fire",
one of Cash's most famous tracks, made its first LP appearance here. Ring of
Fire was the first #1 album when Billboard debuted their Country Album Chart on
January 11, 1964. Certified
Gold on February 11, 1965 by the RIAA, it earned him his first Gold LP. It
stands as the only Columbia "greatest hits" collection to be included
in the Johnny Cash: The Complete Columbia Album Collectionbox set.
Love is a burning
thing
And it makes a fiery ring
Bound by wild desire
I fell into a ring of fire
I fell into a burning
ring of fire
I went down, down, down
And the flames went higher
And it burns, burns, burns
The ring of fire, the ring of fire
I fell into a burning
ring of fire
I went down, down, down
And the flames went higher
And it burns, burns, burns
The ring of fire, the ring of fire
The taste of love is Sweet
When hearts like ours meet
I fell for you like a child
Oh, but the fire went wild
I fell in to a
burning ring of fire
I went down, down, down
And the flames went higher
And it burns, burns, burns
The ring of fire, the ring of fire
I fell in to a
burning ring of fire
I went down, down, down
And the flames went higher
And it burns, burns, burns
The ring of fire, the ring of fire
And it burns, burns,
burns
The ring of fire, the ring of fire
The ring of fire, the ring of fire
The ring of fire.

I brani
che compongono l'album hanno infatti come temi fondamentali l'amore (Tra te e il mare, Come
si fa, Anche se non mi vuoi, Volevo dirti che
ti amo), la nostalgia (Viaggio con te, Ricordami) e la ricerca
dell'energia necessaria per superare i fallimenti (Fidati di me).
