eight albums debuting at the top of the Billboard Jazz Albums.
To date, she has won three Grammy Awards and eight Juno Awards. She has also earned nine gold,
three platinum, and seven multi-platinum albums.
This Dream of You is the fifteenth studio
album by Canadian singer Diana Krall,
released on September 25, 2020, by Verve Records.
The album spawned two singles released in August 2020.
The album is named after Krall's rendition of
the Bob Dylan song
from his album Together
Through Life(2009). The release is a
collection of Krall's scores of studio recordings that she performed with her
longtime producer Tommy LiPuma before
his death in 2017. The dozen tracks was selected from over 30 recordings that
the pair had laid down. The album was finished in May 2020 and produced by
Krall herself. The "Autumn in New York" video was created to raise
awareness for New York Cares, the
largest volunteer organization in New York City founded in 1987.
Autumn in New York
Why does it seem so inviting?
Autumn in New York
It spells the thrill of first-nighting
Glittering crowds
And shimmering clouds
In canyons of steel
They're making me feel
I'm home
It's autumn in New
York
That brings the promise of new love
Autumn in New York
Is often mingled with pain
Dreamers with empty hands
May sigh for exotic lands
It's autumn in New York
It's good to live it again
It's autumn in New York
That brings the promise of new love
Autumn in New York
Is often mingled with pain
Lovers that bless the dark
On benches in Central Park
It's autumn in New York
It's good to live it again.
