My stupid heart
It's always falling in love
It's always falling apart
It's not too smart

My stupid heart
My, my, my, my stupid heart

Here I am once again out in the rain
I must be crazy addicted to pain
I thought that I would be able to change you

Askin' myself, when will I ever learn?
Touchin' the flame, thinkin' I won't get burned
After all we've been through
I thought I earned you

My stupid heart
It's always falling in love
It's always falling apart
Lost in the dark

My stupid heart
Won't listen to reason
Keeps on believin'
It's not too smart

My stupid heart
My, my, my, my stupid heart

Remember the time that we lay in the grass?
Your lips on my lips and your hand on my... yeah
Can't understand why things happened so fast with you, you

You held on so tight, day turned into night
Now, I finally see the light, see the light
When you took your aim, your arrow hit the mark

My stupid heart
It's always falling in love
It's always falling apart
Lost in the dark (lost in the dark)

My stupid heart
Won't listen to reason
Keeps on believin' (keeps on believin')
It's not too smart

My stupid heart

You held on so tight, day turned into night
Now, I finally see the light, see the light
When you took your aim, your arrow hit the mark

My stupid heart
It's always falling in love (it's always falling in love)
It's always falling apart
Lost in the dark (lost in the dark)

My stupid heart
Won't listen to reason (won't listen to reason)
Keeps on believin' (keeps on believin')
It's not too smart

My stupid heart
My, my, my, my stupid heart

My stupid heart.

BOYS DON'T CRY

THE CURE
SONGWRITERS: LAURENCE ANDREW TOLHURST; MICHAEL STEPHEN DEMPSEY & ROBERT JAMES SMITH
COUNTRY: U. K.
ALBUM: BOYS DON’T CRY
LABEL: FICTION RECORDS
GENRE: NEW WAVE
YEAR: 1980

The Cure are an English rock band formed in 1978 in Crawley, West Sussex. Throughout numerous lineup changes since the band's formation, guitarist, lead vocalist, and songwriter Robert Smith has remained the only constant member. The band's debut album, Three Imaginary Boys(1979), along with several early singles, placed the band in the post-punk and new wave movements that had sprung up in the United Kingdom. Beginning with their second album, Seventeen Seconds(1980), the band adopted a new, increasingly dark and tormented style, which, together with Smith's stage look, had a strong influence on the emerging genre of gothic rock as well as the subculture that eventually formed around the genre.
After the release of the band's fourth album, Pornography(1982), Smith introduced a greater pop sensibility into the band's music. Songs such as "Let's Go to Bed"(1982), "The Love Cats"(1983), "Inbetween Days" (1985), "Close to Me"(1985), "Just Like Heaven" (1987), "Lovesong"(1989), and "Friday I'm in Love"(1992) aided them in receiving commercial popularity. The Cure have released 13 studio albums, two EPs, over 30 singles, and have sold over 30 million albums worldwide. Their most recent album, 4:13 Dream, was released in 2008. The Cure were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019.
Boys Don't Cry is The Cure's first compilation album. Released in February 1980, this album is composed of several tracks from the band's May 1979 debut album Three Imaginary Boys(which had yet to see a U.S. release) with material from the band's 1978–1979 era.
I would say I'm sorry
If I thought that it would change your mind
But I know that this time
I have said too much
Been too unkind

I tried to laugh about it
Cover it all up with lies
I tried to laugh about it
Hiding the tears in my eyes
'Cause boys don't cry
Boys don't cry

I would break down at your feet
And beg forgiveness, plead with you
But I know that it's too late
And now there's nothing I can do

So I try to laugh about it
Cover it all up with lies
I try to laugh about it
Hiding the tears in my eyes
'Cause boys don't cry
Boys don't cry

I would tell you that I loved you
If I thought that you would stay
But I know that it's no use
And you've already gone away

Misjudged your limits
Pushed you too far
Took you for granted
Thought that you needed me more, more, more

Now I would do most anything
To get you back by my side
But I just keep on laughing
Hiding the tears in my eyes
'Cause boys don't cry

Boys don't cry
Boys don't cry.

ALL THIS MUSIC MUST FADE

THE WHO
SONGWRITER: PETER TOWNSHEND
COUNTRY: U. K.
ALBUM: WHO
LABEL: POLYDOR RECORDS
GENRE: POP ROCK
YEAR: 2019

The Who are an English rock band formed in London in 1964. Their classic lineup consisted of lead singer Roger Daltrey, guitarist and singer Pete Townshend, bass guitarist and singer John Entwistle, and drummer Keith Moon. They are considered one of the most influential rock bands of the 20th century, and have sold over 100 million records worldwide. Their contributions to rock music include the development of the Marshall Stack, large PA systems, the use of the synthesizer, Entwistle and Moon's influential playing styles, Townshend's feedback and power chord guitar technique, and the development of the rock opera. They are cited as an influence by many hard rock, punk rock and mod bands, and their songs are still regularly played. The Who were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.
The Who developed from an earlier group, the Detours, and established themselves as part of the pop art and mod movements, featuring auto-destructive art by destroying guitars and drums on stage. Their first single as the Who, "I Can't Explain" (1965), reached the UK top ten, and was followed by a string of hit singles including "My Generation" (1965), "Substitute" (1966) and "Happy Jack" (1966). In 1967, they performed at the Monterey Pop Festival and released "I Can See for Miles", their only US top ten single. The group's 1969 concept album Tommy included the single "Pinball Wizard" and was a critical and commercial success.
Further festival appearances at Woodstock and the Isle of Wight, along with the concert album Live at Leeds(1970), established their reputation as a respected rock act. The success put pressure on lead songwriter Townshend, and the follow-up to Tommy, Lifehouse, was abandoned. Songs from the project made up Who's Next(1971), including the hits "Won't Get Fooled Again", "Baba O'Riley", and "Behind Blue Eyes". The group released another concept album, Quadrophenia(1973), as a celebration of their mod roots, and oversaw the film adaptation of Tommy(1975). They continued to tour to large audiences before semi-retiring from live performances at the end of 1976. The release of Who Are You(1978) was overshadowed by Moon's death shortly after.
Who(sometimes stylised as WHO) is the twelfth studio album by the English rock band the Who, released on 6 December 2019. The band's first new studio album in thirteen years, and the second overall comprising the duo of vocalist Roger Daltrey and instrumentalist Pete Townshend, it comprises ballads, rock music, electronic experimentation and "classic Who-ish" songs, according to Townshend.
Promoted by three singles, including the lead single "Ball and Chain", WHO was a commercial success, reaching number three on the UK Albums Chart and number two on the American Billboard 200. The album was also positively received by music critics. The Who supported the album with their Moving On! Tour.
Yours is yours
What's mine is mine
What's yours is yours, and what's mine is mine
What's yours is yours, and what's mine is mine

I don't care
I know you're gonna hate this song
And that's fair
We never really got along
It's not new, not diverse
It won't light up your parade
It's just simple verse

All this music will fade
Just like the edge of a blade
All this music will fade
Just like the edge of a blade

I'm long gone
And I ain't never coming back
What's wrong?
I've never really quite gone bland
I'm not blue, I'm not pink
I'm just grey, I'm afraid
And it seems in a blink

All this music will fade
(All this music will fade)
Just like the edge of a blade
(Just like the edge of a blade)
All this music will fade
(All this music will fade)
Just like the edge of a blade
(Just like the edge of a blade)

What's yours is yours, and what's mine is mine
What's mine is yours, and what's yours is mine
What's mine is yours, and what's yours is mine
What's yours is yours, and what's mine is mine

I don't mind
Other guys ripping off my song
I'd be a liar
If I said I never done no wrong
Oh, this sound that we share
Has already been played
And it hangs in the air

All this music will fade
(All this music will fade)
Just like the edge of a blade
(Just like the edge of a blade)
All this music will fade
(All this music will fade)
Just like the edge of a blade

I don't care
I know you're gonna hate this song
That's fair

'Cause we never really got along
It's not new, not diverse
It won't light up your parade
It's just simple verse

All this music will fade
Just like the edge of a blade
All this music will fade
Just like the edge of a blade
All this music will fade

What's yours is yours, and what's mine is mine
What's mine is yours, and what's yours is mine
What's mine is yours, and what's yours is mine
What's yours is yours

Yours is yours, and what's mine is mine
And what's mine is mine, and what's mine is yours
Who gives a fuck?

Tell me what's wrong with you now , tell me why I
Never seem to make you happy, though heaven knows I try.
What does it take to please you? Tell me just how
I can satisfy you woman? You're drivin' me wild.

Break up to make up, that's all we do.
First you love me then you hate me,
That's a game for fools.
,Break up to make up that's all we do.
First you love me then you hate me,
That's a game for fools.

When I come home from workin', you're on the phone,
Talkin' 'bout how bad I treat ya, now tell me I'm wrong.
You say it's me who argues, I'll say it's you,
We have got to get together or, baby, we're through.

Break up to make up, that's all we do.
First you love me then you hate me,
That's a game for fools.
Break up to make up, that's all we do.
Yeah, first you love me then you hate me,
That's a game for fools.

Break up to make up, that's all we do.
Yeah, first you love me then you hate me,
That's a game for fools.

Break up to make up, that's all we do.
First you love me then you hate me,
That's a game.
