Chase Atlantic (occasionally stylized as CHASE ATLANTIC) is an Australian alternative R&B band and production trio from Cairns, Queensland, formed in 2014. The group consists of five members: Christian Anthony, Clinton Cave, Mitchel Cave, Pat Wilde and Jesse Boyle. Chase Atlantic has released seven EPs and three albums.
Christian Anthony and Mitchel Cave were in a boy band called What About Tonight. They formed the band to audition for season 4 of The X Factor Australia, although they were eliminated in week two, coming in eleventh place.
Mitchel Cave's older brother, Clinton Cave, had a successful YouTube channel, Clinton Cave Music, where the brothers would release cover songs on a regular basis. In 2013, the three members performed together for the first time under the name K.I.D.S. (Kind Imaginations. Destructive Situations.) and released the original song "Addicted." They have since deleted all content from the channel.
Chewed up, I've been kicking rocks, kicking shit
I've been rolling off that 8-1, don't try this
Narcotics in my bloodstream, I don't feel a damn thing
Moral of the story, "Don't die kids"

See, I just want a little when that bass hits
Listen to my words, "Don't do this"
Yeah, I'm not insecure, I'm stupid
So stupid, yeah

I'm sorry that I scared your mother
Plus I'm sorry that your dad died
Now I don't wanna start no trouble
But I got a couple rules you should live by

Take drugs, stay high
View the fucking earth from the outside, yeah
Pop pills through the daytime
And if I die, tell my momma that I died like a rockstar
Fuck the cop car, they will never catch us
Like a rockstar, living too fast, like a rockstar

Birds sing when the drugs hit
I feel my heart kick
Double up the dose, go brainless
Break necks in the moshpit
And if I bleed then I drink codeine
Go painless

See, I don't sniff lines when my friends do
Ten girls lined up for the band's room
And if you don't get high, don't pretend to
It's kinda sad dude

I never meant to scare your mother
But she ain't never met my type (yeah, no)
And I've been fucking hoes and poppin' pillies, shouting Stoney
But it's not just how I feel, this is real life

Take drugs, stay high
View the fucking earth from the outside, yeah
Pop pills through the daytime
And if I die, tell my momma that I died like a rockstar
Fuck the cop car, they will never catch us
Like a rockstar, living too fast, like a rockstar

Tell 'em that I died like a rockstar
Tell 'em I got high like a rockstar
Put me in design, and they put me in the dark
Keep my legacy alive like a rockstar

Lifestyle, on the edge, give me your forgiving
See I worship the dead, they worship the living
I done popped a molly, got my geek on, weed blowing
Make this shit your motherfucking theme song, yeah

Take drugs, stay high
View the fucking earth from the outside, yeah
Pop pills through the day time
And if I die, tell my momma that I died like a rockstar
Fuck the cop car, they will never catch us
Like a rockstar, living too fast, like a rockstar

Like a, like a, like a rockstar (rockstar)
Fucking rockstar (oh, no, oh-oh).

Since the release of their debut studio album Picture Book (1985), they have had ten songs reach top 10 in the UK Singles Chart, including "Holding Back the Years" and "If You Don't Know Me by Now", both of which reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. They have had five number one albums in the UK, with their 1991 album, Stars, being one of the best-selling albums in UK chart history.
At the 1992 and 1993 Brit Awards, they received the award for Best British Group. They received three Grammy Award nominations: for Best New Artist in 1987, and "Holding Back the Years" and "If You Don't Know Me by Now" for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. The band re-formed in 2015. Simply Red has sold over 50 million albums.

Five singles were released from the album. "The Right Thing" was the first to be released, peaking at number 11 in the UK Singles Chart. "Infidelity" was the second single, which reached number 31, followed by "Maybe Someday..." which became Simply Red's first single to fail to reach the UK top 75, peaking at number 88. The next single, "Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye", a cover of the Cole Porter song, returned the band to the top 20 where it peaked at number 11. "I Won’t Feel Bad" was the fifth and final single from the album, peaking at number 68.
In the middle of the night
When the time is right
Sexily right

I'm gonna do the right thing
I'm feeling hot
I ain't ever gonna stop
To get what you got
You better take what I bring

I feel it now
Much harder now
More than any old how
Say you feel the pain

Feel I'm getting harder now
(Get off your back four, get on top more)
Feel I'm sinking farther down
(Get off your back four, get on top more)
I told you to stop
You're sleeping out a lot
You told me get lost
Where's your understanding

I feel it now
Much harder than I've ever done now, now
Hey, I'm gonna do the right thing

Feel I'm getting harder now
(Get off your back four, get on top more)
Feel I'm sinking farther down
(Get off your back four, get on top more)

In the middle of the night
When the time is right
Sexily right
I'm gonna do the right thing

I'm on fire now
You know I'm on fire now
You know I told you
That I would never dream of leaving now
If I did it right.

SPRING GANG FEAT. ASTYN TURR
SONGWRITERS: RACHEL PLATTEN & SALLY SELTMANN
COUNTRY: U. K.
ALBUM: NOW I’M ALL YOURS
LABEL: EPIDEMIC SONG
GENRE: ROCK
YEAR: 2019

Spring were an English progressive rock band from Leicester.
They released only one album in their career, a self-titled LP in 1971. Spring's music is notable for the use of the mellotron with three of its five members credited with playing that instrument on the album. Songs for a second album were recorded but not released at the time. They were later released on CD together with some demos as Untitled 2, as a bonus CD on the Esoteric CD release of 2015, and as a bootleg vinyl album Spring 2(with Roger Dean cover). Three of the tracks were used as bonus on the single CD edition of the first album.
Spring originally consisted of Pat Moran (vocals), Ray Martinez (guitars), Kips Brown (keyboards), Pick Withers(drums) and Adrian Maloney(bass), all of whom had previously played in various local Leicester bands.
A turning point in Spring's fortunes happened after a gig in Cardiff, when the band's van broke down somewhere in the Welsh countryside, coincidentally very near where producer/engineer Kingsley Ward had recently set up Rockfield Studios. Ward would later marvel at the "coincidence of meeting a group with a broken down truck in your own home town when you have previously spent months traipsing around the country in search of talent". He was particularly intrigued by the fact that they owned a mellotron, and "invited them down the following week for an audition with my brother Charles and myself", the outcome of which was "good enough for us to want to be involved with them". Several demo sessions followed. The band were rehearsing at Rockfield when producer Gus Dudgeon (of David Bowie and Elton John fame) dropped by to check the studio out, heard them play and expressed interest in producing them. A few months later, sessions took place at both Rockfield and London's Trident Studios, and the resulting album was released on the RCA/Neon label in 1971.
There's a sparkle in your eyes
I feel the warmth of your skin
Just the touch of your hand
Makes me tremble within
Love the smell of your hair
Lying here in our bed, oh
Never gonna be alone
'Cause with you I'm finally coming home

I want to be with you always
'Cause that is what my heart says, (that's what my heart says)
I want to be with you always
You are my world in every place
It's the things that you do
And it's the smile on your face
And as time goes by (I know)
I know I'm in a better place
I'm in a better place

Without your love I am out of place
And without you I am just a trace
I love you with all of my heart
Together forever, never to part

I want to be with you always
'Cause that is what my heart says, (that's what my heart says)
I want to be with you always (always yeah)
You are my world in every place, oh woah
It's the things that you do, (it's the things you do baby)
And it's the smile on your face (smile on your face)
And as time goes by (I know)
I know I'm in a better place
I'm in a better place

It's the things that you do (the things that you can oh)
And it's the smile on your face (the smile on your face)
And as time goes by, (I know)
I know I'm in a better place
I'm in a better place.

STEVE PERRY
SONGWRITERS: Craig Krampf; Bill Cuomo; Randy Goodrum & Stephen Ray Perry
COUNTRY: U. S. A.
ALBUM: STREET TALK
LABEL: COLUMBIA RECORDS
GENRE: ROCK
YEAR: 1984

Stephen Ray Perry(born January 22, 1949) is an American singer and songwriter. He is known for being the lead singer of the rock band Journey during their most commercially successful periods from 1977 to 1987, and again from 1995 to 1998. Perry also had a successful solo career between the mid-1980s and mid-1990s, made sporadic appearances in the 2000s, and returned to music full-time in 2018.
Perry's singing voice has garnered acclaim from prominent musical peers and publications; he has been dubbed "The Voice", a moniker originally coined by Jon Bon Jovi. Ranked Nº 76 on Rolling Stone's "100 Greatest Singers of All Time", Perry was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Journey on April 7, 2017.
Street Talk is Steve Perry's first solo studio album, released in April 1984.
Street Talk contains Perry's biggest hit as a solo artist, "Oh Sherrie", written for his then-girlfriend Sherrie Swafford. The song hit #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on Billboard's Rock chart, and the accompanying music video (also featuring Swafford) was a hit on MTV. Other singles included "Foolish Heart" (peaked at #18), "She's Mine" (peaked at #21), and "Strung Out" (peaked at #40).
There were a number of nods to Perry's pre-Journey band Alien Project on this album—in fact, that band was originally going to be called Street Talk. In the liner notes, Perry dedicates the album to Richard Michaels (the bassist for Alien Project). Also, drummer Craig Krampf was a member of Alien Project later in the 1970s.
In addition to launching Perry's solo career, the cover photo for Street Talk served as a career launchpad for music photographer John Scarpati, who met Perry during the album's recording sessions at a studio in Sherman Oaks.
Street Talk is certified as 2× Platinum (2,000,000) in sales by the RIAA
You should've been gone
Knowing how I made you feel
And I should've been gone
After all your words of steel
Oh, I must've been a dreamer
And I must've been someone else
And we should've been over

Oh, Sherrie, our love
Holds on, holds on
Oh, Sherrie, our love
Holds on, holds on

Oh, I want to let go
You'll go on hurtin' me
You'd be better off alone
If I'm not who you thought I'd be

But you know that there's a fever
Oh, that you'll never find nowhere else
Can't you feel it burnin'
On-and-on

Oh, Sherrie, our love
Holds on, holds on
Oh, Sherrie, our love
Holds on, holds on

Oh, Sherrie
Oh, Sherrie

But I should've been gone
Long ago, far away
And you should've been gone
Now I know you'd lie
You'll stay

Oh, Sherrie, our love
Holds on, holds on
Oh, Sherrie, our love
Holds on, holds on

Oh, Sherrie, our love
Holds on, holds on

Hold on
Oh, Sherrie.
