I was just a young man when I found love
In seventh heaven way too many times always breaking up
But the thought of you brings a glimmer to my face
Yeah, and I miss our love and your kiss, your warm embrace

And I knew that I'd find our goodbye
Wrong sometime and I was afraid to hear you say

Baby, please stop breaking my heart again
It now belongs to another man
Our love is so far away
I couldn’t leave, and you couldn’t stay

Will you make me your friend and understand why I pretend
That I love him the way I loved you?

You say you’ve spent so many sleepless nights waiting for me to call
That you didn’t want to dim the flame, hoping for my recall
But I wandered through moments of unreality
Looking for someone to love me because I’m strong while being weak

And I’m done and my find is a naked state of mind
I want you back again, but this is what you say

Baby, please stop breaking my heart again
It now belongs to another man
Our love is so far away
I couldn’t leave, and you couldn’t stay

Will you make me your friend and understand why I pretend
That I love him the way I loved you?

What would I give to change my lonely days into a night with you
Not a single day without you on my mind, nothing I wouldn’t do
Well, I’m drowning in a grown desire ‘cause I’m coming true
Yeah, and I love you, I still love you

Well, I always made the same mistakes, seems like I still do
I gave myself up to create a fake, so I gave up on you
Please stop breaking my heart again
Stop breaking my heart again
It now belongs to another man
Our love is so far away
I couldn’t leave, and you couldn’t stay

Will you make me your friend and understand why I pretend
That I love him the way I loved you?

Virei o meu cavalo a galope
Risquei de espora e chicote, sangrei a anca do tal
Desci a montanha abaixo

Pra minha cabocla morar
Pois era ali nosso ninho
Bem longe desse lugar

No alto lá da montanha
Perto da luz do luar
Vivi um ano feliz
Sem nunca isso esperar

E muito tempo passou
Pensando em ser tão feliz
Mas a Tereza, doutor
Felicidade não quis

Pus meu sonho neste olhar
Paguei caro o meu amor
Por causa de outro caboclo
Meu rancho ela abandonou

Senti meu sangue ferver
Jurei a Tereza matar
O meu alazão arriei
E ela eu fui procurar

Agora já me vinguei
É esse o fim de um amor
Esta cabocla eu matei
É a minha história, doutor.

Turn down the lights
Turn down the bed
Turn down these voices
Inside my head

Lay down with me
Tell me no lies
Just hold me close
Don't patronize
Don't patronize me

'Cause I can't make you love me
If you don't
You can't make your heart feel
Something that it won't

Here in the dark
These final hours
I will lay down my heart
And I feel the power

But you won't
No, you won't
And I can't make you love me
If you don't

I'll close my eyes
Then I won't see
The love you do not feel
When you're holdin' me

Mornin' will come
And I'll do what's right
Just give me 'til then
To give up this fight
And I will give up this fight

And I can't make you love me
If you don't
You can't make your heart feel
Something that it won't

And here in the dark
In these final hours
I will lay down my heart
I feel the power

But you won't
No, you won't
And I can't make you love me
If you don't

Ain't no use in you tryin'
It's no good for me baby
Without love

All my tears, all these years, everything
I believed in
Baby
Oh, yeah

Someone's gonna love me.

Let me tell you now all that's on my mind
For a love like yours is oh so very hard to find
Looked inside myself now I'm very sure
There can only be you for me
I need you more and more...

You turned me inside out
And you showed me what life was about
Only you
The only one that stole my heart away
I wanna do all I can just to show you
Make you understand
Only you
The only one that stole my heart away

When you're in my arms
When I'm close to you
There's a magic in your touch that just comes shining through
Want you everyday
Want you every night
There can only be you for me
You make it seem so right
Oh, girl
Cause you turned me inside out

And you showed me what life was about
Only you
The only one that stole my heart away
Oh, a-a-a-h
Mmmm
In my mind there's no other love
You're the only girl my heart and soul is thinking of

Only you only me (only me)
There can never ever be another
That understands the way that I feel inside
Cause you turned me inside out

And you showed me what life was about
Only you
The only one that stole my heart away
Yeah you turned me inside out
And you showed me what life was about
Only you
The only one that stole... my heart away
(You stole my heart away)
You stole it
(You stole my heart away)
Only you
The only one that stole my heart away
Yeah you
(You stole my heart away)
Oh, you stole it
(You stole my heart away)
Only you
The only one that stole... my heart away
(You stole my heart away)
(You stole my heart away).
