Nesse pedaço de chão, no coração do sertão
Encontrei meu lugar

Tem peão de boiadeiro que vive a laçar
Tem tanto amor verdadeiro que nunca vai faltar
Lendas de animais e rios aves, flores, desafios
Este é o meu lugar

E no final do dia, o fogo faz companhia
E um violeiro toca pra gente sonhar
Aqui não se vê tristeza, em meio à natureza
No coração sertanejo é que é o meu lugar

Lenda de animais e rios aves, flores, desafios
Este é o meu lugar
E no final do dia o fogo faz companhia

RICHARD BONA

LABEL: EMARCY RECORDS
GENRE: JAZZ
YEAR: 2005

          Richard Bon(born 28 October 1967) is a Cameroon-born American multi-instrumentalist and singer.
Bona Penda Nya Yuma Elolo was born in Minta, Cameroon, into a family of musicians, which enabled him to start learning music from a young age. His grandfather was a griot–a West African singer of praise and storyteller – and percussionist, as his mother was a singer. When he was four years old, Bona started to play the balafon. At the age of five, he began performing at his village church. Not being wealthy, Bona made many of his own instruments: including flutes and guitars (with cords strung over an old motorcycle tank).
His talent was quickly noticed, and he was often invited to perform at festivals and ceremonies. Bona began learning to play the guitar at the age of 11, and in 1980, aged just 13, he assembled his first ensemble for a French jazz club in Douala. The owner befriended him and helped him discover jazz music, in particular that of Jaco Pastorius, which inspired Bona to switch his focus to the electric bass
Tiki is the fourth solo studio album by Cameroonian jazz bassist and musician Richard Bona. It was released on October 2, 2005 through Universal Music France, and has charted in several countries.
Susheela Raman, Mike Stern and Djavan made guest appearances on the album, and the 2006 edition of the record features a song "Please Don't Stop" with guest vocals by John Legend.
Oh, whoa
You're so smooth tryna keep my cool
But I can't help myself, you make me act the fool
Oh, sweet things you say, the sexy way you move
I get so excited baby, I don't know what to do

I really wanna be your only one, forget about the rest
Oh, why stop with good enough when you can have the best?
Oh, what I'm tryna say is won't you stay, I'll stick with you
Baby, don't stop doing what you do

Please don't stop
Don't stop loving me
Doing what you do (please don't stop)
'Cause honey, I know I can't stop loving you
(Please don't stop)
I'm such a lucky guy, got you next to me
Baby no, please don't go
Never ever have to leave

Oh, give me a chance (a chance)
A chance just to show (just to show)
You need to stick with me
I can be more than you know
I'll be your best of friend, Mexican
You'll hold me and you'll love me then
Baby, everything you need, you can find it in me

Don't stop loving me (please don't stop)
Don't stop loving me, doin' what you do
'Cause honey, I know I can't ever stop loving you
I'm such a lucky guy, got you next to me
Baby no, please don't go
You never ever have to leave, yeah

Yeah, yeah
Baby, don't stop
Don't stop
Don't stop.

Peter Gene Hernandez(born October 8, 1985), known professionally as Bruno Mars, is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is known for his stage performances, retro showmanship, and for performing in a wide range of musical styles, including pop, R&B, funk, soul, reggae, disco, and rock. Mars is accompanied by his band, the Hooligans, who play a variety of instruments, such as electric guitar, bass, piano, keyboards, drums, and horns, and also serve as backup singers and dancers.
Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Mars moved to Los Angeles in 2003 to pursue a musical career. In 2009, he co-founded the production team The Smeezingtons, responsible for various successful singles for Mars himself and other artists. He rose to fame in 2010 buoyed by the success of "Nothin' on You" by B.o.B and "Billionaire" by Travie McCoy, both of which featured his vocals. That year, Mars released his debut studio album Doo-Wops & Hooligans, which blended pop with reggae and R&B. It spawned the international number-one singles "Just the Way You Are", "Grenade", and "The Lazy Song". Drawing inspiration from disco, funk, rock, reggae and soul genres, his second studio album, Unorthodox Jukebox(2012), was his first number one on the Billboard 200. It amassed two Billboard Hot 100 number-one songs, "Locked Out of Heaven" and "When I Was Your Man".
In 2014, Mars was featured on Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk", which topped various music charts, spending a total of fourteen and seven weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart, respectively. Mars's third studio album, the R&B-focused 24K Magic(2016), received seven Grammy Awards, winning the major categories of Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year. The album also yielded the top-five singles "24K Magic", "That's What I Like" (his seventh Billboard Hot 100 number-one single), and a remix of "Finesse" featuring Cardi B. In 2021, Mars and Anderson .Paak, as Silk Sonic, released the collaborative studio album An Evening with Silk Sonic, which delved into 1970s R&B and soul and was led by the chart-topping single "Leave the Door Open". It received four Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
An Evening with Silk Sonic is the debut studio album by American musical superduo Silk Sonic, composed of Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak. It was released on November 12, 2021, by Aftermath Entertainment and Atlantic Records. Silk Sonic reunited with Christopher Brody Brown and James Fauntleroy to write the album. They recruited American musician Bootsy Collins, who came up with the name for Mars and Paak's duo, for narration and American record producer D'Mile to compose the album. Recording sessions for An Evening with Silk Sonic took place in 2017 and between early 2020 to mid-2021 at Shampoo Press & Curl Studios.
An Evening with Silk Sonic debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart with first-week sales of 104,000 equivalent album units and became Mars's second and .Paak's first number-one album on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. It also peaked in the top-five in Australia, Canada, Ireland and New Zealand, and produced five singles: "Leave the Door Open" and "Smokin out the Window", which were commercially successful, while "Skate" charted moderately in various countries. Two other singles "Love's Train", a cover of Con Funk Shun's song, and "After Last Night" were made available for consumption in 2022, with each one of them having minor commercial success. "Leave the Door Open" reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and New Zealand, becoming Mars's eighth and .Paak's first number-one song in the United States. The album was certified gold by Music Canada(MC) and platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America(RIAA).
An Evening with Silk Sonic received universal acclaim, and is the most acclaimed studio album of Mars' career, with reviewers praising its retro sensibility and the chemistry between Mars and .Paak. At the 64th Grammy Awards in 2022, "Leave The Door Open" won four Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best R&B Performance and Best R&B song. Several publications listed the album as one of the best records of the year. The album was also promoted via An Evening with Silk Sonic at Park MGM(2022), along with a number of performances at various award shows.

What you doing? (What you doing?)
Where you at? (Where you at?)
Oh, you got plans? (You got plans?)
Don't say that (shut your trap)
I'm sipping wine (sip, sip) in a robe (drip, drip)
I look too good (look too good) to be alone (woo-woo)
My house clean (house clean), my pool warm (pool warm)
Just shaved (smooth like a newborn)
We should be dancing, romancing
In the east wing and the west wing
Of this mansion, what's happening?

I ain't playing no games
Every word that I say is coming straight from the heart
So if you tryna lay in these arms

I'ma leave the door open
(I'ma leave the door open)
I'ma leave the door open, girl
(I'ma leave the door open, hoping)
That you feel the way I feel
And you want me like I want you tonight, baby
(Tell me that you're coming through)

Ooh, you're so sweet (so sweet), so tight (so tight)
I won't bite (ah-ah), unless you like (unless you like)
If you smoke (what you smoke?) I got the haze (Purple Haze)
And if you're hungry, girl, I got fillets (woo-woo)
Ooh, baby, don't keep me (waiting)
There's so much love we could be making (shamone)
I'm talking kissing, cuddling
Rose petals in the bathtub
Girl, let's jump in, it's bubbling

I ain't playing no games
Every word that I say is coming straight from the heart
So (if you) if you (tryna) tryna lay in these arms

I'ma leave the door open
(I'ma leave the door open)
I'ma leave the door open, girl

Girl, I'm here just waiting for you (oh!)
Come on over, I'll adore you (I gotta know!)
La-la-la, la-la-la-la (I'm waiting, waiting, waiting)
