Come on free O’ that’s the feeling that’s how you stay alive
Come on free what do you believe in that’s gonna start the fire.

Now I ain't ever gonna be down on what you feel, down on the thoughts in your head
All I ever wanna be is somebody that you can trust, somebody you love
Now I don’t have to walk the fence, I'm breaking off the chains
Ever since we’ve been together
I’m gonna give you all I can, help me with my faith don’t hold back on me now.

Come on free O’ that’s the feeling that’s how you stay alive
Come on free what do you believe in that’s gonna start the fire.

Now you never wanna be down on what you feel, down on something somebody said
All you ever gotta do is believe in yourself and you’re there, It’s all in your hands
You don't have to walk the fence or worry what they say as long as you’ve got something together
It’s a such funny little game that people wanna play, but it ain't no game when you’ve got your faith.

Come on free O’ that’s the feeling that’s how you feel alive
Come on free what do you believe in that’s gonna start the fire.

Come on free once you’re free once you’re free O’ that’s the feeling that’s how you stay alive
Free once your free once your free what do you believe in? It’s how you stay alive.

Come on free O’ that’s the feeling that’s how you stay alive

Come on free what do you believe in that’s gonna start the fire.

Noora Noor or Noora (born July 8, 1979) is a Norwegian neo soul singer. She is often noted as Norway's Queen of Soul. Noora releases her third album "Soul Deep" around Europe in 2010. The album was released in Norway in 2009 and gave Noora the Norwegian Grammy for Best Female Artist. Noora started on her musical journey performing locally from the age of 8. She got a recording contract with Warner Music as their A&R spotted her at only 15. She began working with Stargate to make her first album. The outcome of the album launched Stargate´s international career as producers. Her debut album 'Curious,' was released in 1999 and became one of the first real Scandinavian R&B albums. The single "Need You" was also played constantly on "The Lick" on MTV. Curious became a success also in Japan with more than 50 000 sales. It took some time before we saw release of her second album "All I Am" in 2004, as Noora became seriously ill. Noora's third album was titled "Soul Deep". The album takes Noora back to the roots of soul music and is more a Stax sound than Motown. The album was produced by guitarvirtuoso Kid Andersen in San Jose, California. Her reviews for the record in Norway were top of the dice with 6/6 in VG - Norway's largest daily newspaper. Noora is busy recording her new album Spring 2012. I get the blues
I get high
I'll explode like dynamite
And i'll cry 'till the dust
Settles down
I guess i'm hard when i'm soft
And i'm cold when i'm feeling so hot
Sometimes i guess things just happen too fast
Forget what i said - forget what i did
It's not what i meant - so can you forgive it
Just came out wrong
I'm taking it back
Forget what i said
But i can love you like hell
Put under my black magic spell
And i can kiss you like nobody else
I'll make good of my bads
I'll make nice of all that is sad
I'll cut off - the dead hands - of my past
Forget what i said - forget what i did
It's not what i meant - so can you forgive
It's just came out wrong - i'm taking it back

Please forget about it
SHE DOESN'T NEED ME ANYMORE

Don't know when she started changing
Don't know how it's come to this
Seems like yesterday she was in my arms, begging for a kiss
Now the winds of change are blowin'
And they're taking her away
I will do my best not to hold her back,
But there's nothing more to say

She doesn't need me
She's gonna leave me
She needs some time on her own
I should have told her
Now I can't hold her
Wish it could be like before
But she doesn't need me anymore

It's so hard to watch believe me
It's so hard to be alone
I just hope and pray that there'll come a day,
She'll find the road back home

She doesn't need me
She's gonna leave me
She needs some time on her own
I should have told her
Now I can't hold her
Wish it could be like before
But she doesn't need me anymore

If I pretend to be happy, I'd only be fooling myself
'Cause here in my heart I know that I'm dying
And it's tearing me apart, baby I'm crying

I should have told her
Now I can't hold her
Wish it could be like before
But she doesn't need me now

Wish it could be like before

But she doesn't need me anymore

DEEP PURPLE
SONGWRITHER: JON LORDE & IAN PAICE
COUNTRY: U. K.
ALBUM: DEEP PURPLE
LABEL: EMI
GENRE: HARD ROCK
YEAR: 1969

An original idea of ian's, who is heard playing drums, timbales, maracas and cowbell. Jon is playing claves. The percussion instruments were tracked on afterwards of course. The song is about one of jon's nightmares. Nicky's bass line is a gas. Jon Lord said this about the song in April 1996: The song was something to do with a nightmare I'd had and the lyrics as I wrote them were:

Chasing shadows, over my walls
with myself hardly sleeping
Dwarfs and giants, twenty feet tall
fill the room with their creeping

Sounds of breathing sharpen my ears
then they fade into nothing
Someone's laughter out in the street
fills the night with their loving

I feel the ice in my head
Running its hands through my bed
Not even dreaming I seem to be dead
Colors of yellow and colors of red
All I'm asking some secret voice
is to lead me to darkness

Jon forgot the two last lines:
I'm so tired, dawn never comes
I just hide in the shadows
