French Touch is the fifth studio album by Italian-French singer Carla Bruni, released on 6 October 2017 by Teorema and Barclay.

Sometimes it's hard to be a woman
Givin' all your love to just one man
You'll have the bad times
And he'll have the good times
Doing things that you don't understand

But if you love him, you'll forgive him
Even though he's hard to understand, mm, mm
And if you love him, oh, be proud of him
'Cause after all, he's just a man

Stand by your man
Give him two arms to cling to
And something warm to come to
When nights are cold and lonely

Stand by your man
And show the world you love him
Keep giving all the love you can, mm, mm
Stand by your man, hmm, hmm

Stand by your man (Ooh, ooh)
And show the world you love him (Ooh, ooh)
Keep giving all the love you can
Stand by your man, mm, mm, mm

Ela assinou "Vai sonhando".

I woke up early this morning 'round 4 a.m.
With the moon shining bright
As headlights on the interstate
I pulled the covers over my head
And tried to catch some sleep
But thoughts of us kept keeping me awake

Ever since you found yourself in someone else's arms
I've been tryin' my best to get along
But that's okay
There's nothing left to say, but

Take your records, take your freedom
Take your memories, I don't need 'em
Take your space and take your reasons
But you'll think of me

And take your cat and leave my sweater
'Cause we have nothing left to weather
In fact I'll feel a whole lot better
But you'll think of me, you'll think of me

I went out driving trying to clear my head
I tried to sweep out all the ruins that my emotions left
(I guess I'm)
I guess I'm feeling just a little tired of this
And all the baggage that seems to still exist

It seems the only blessing I have left to my name
Is not knowing what we could have been
What we should have been
So

Take your records, take your freedom
Take your memories, I don't need 'em
Take your space and take your reasons
But you'll think of me

And take your cat and leave my sweater
'Cause we have nothing left to weather
In fact I'll feel a whole lot better
But you'll think of me

Someday I'm gonna run across your mind
But don't worry, I'll be fine
I'm gonna be alright
While you're sleeping with your pride
Wishing I could hold you tight
I'll be over you
And on with my life

So take your records, take your freedom
Take your memories, I don't need 'em
And take your cat and leave my sweater
'Cause we have nothing left to weather
In fact I'll feel a whole lot better
But you'll think of me

So take your records, take your freedom
Take your memories, I don't need 'em
Take your space and all your reasons
But you'll think of me

And take your cat and leave my sweater
'Cause we got nothing left to weather
In fact, I'll feel a whole lot better
But you'll think of me, you'll think of me, yeah

Oh, oh
And you're gonna think of me, mmm yeah

Ooh, stop me baby
Someday
Oh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
Mmm, mmm, mmm
Darlin, think of me
Mmm, mmm, mmm
Baby, darlin', no, oh, oh
Doo, doo, doo, oh, oh!
