Miriam Makeba is the self-titled debut album by Miriam Makeba. It was released in 1960 by RCA VictorZenzile Miriam Makeba(4 March 1932– 9 November 2008), nicknamed Mama Africa, was a South African singer, songwriter, actress, and civil rights activist. Associated with musical genres including Afropop, jazz, and world music, she was an advocate against apartheid and white-minority government in South Africa.
Born in Johannesburg to Swazi and Xhosa parents, Makeba was forced to find employment as a child after the death of her father. She had a brief and allegedly abusive first marriage at the age of 17, gave birth to her only child in 1950, and survived breast cancer. Her vocal talent had been recognized when she was a child, and she began singing professionally in the 1950s, with the Cuban Brothers, the Manhattan Brothers, and an all-woman group, the Skylarks, performing a mixture of jazz, traditional African melodies, and Western popular music. In 1959, Makeba had a brief role in the anti-apartheid film Come Back, Africa, which brought her international attention, and led to her performing in Venice, London, and New York City. In London, she met the American singer Harry Belafonte, who became a mentor and colleague. She moved to New York City, where she became immediately popular, and recorded her first solo album in 1960. Her attempt to return to South Africa that year for her mother's funeral was prevented by the country's government.
Makeba's career flourished in the United States, and she released several albums and songs, her most popular being "Pata Pata" (1967). Along with Belafonte she received a Grammy Award for her 1965 album An Evening with Belafonte/Makeba. She testified against the South African government at the United Nations and became involved in the civil rights movement. She married Stokely Carmichael, a leader of the Black Panther Party, in 1968. As a result, she lost support among white Americans. Her visa was revoked by the US government when she was traveling abroad, forcing her and Carmichael to relocate to Guinea. She continued to perform, mostly in African countries, including at several independence celebrations. She began to write and perform music more explicitly critical of apartheid; the 1977 song "Soweto Blues", written by her former husband Hugh Masekela, was about the Soweto uprising. After apartheid was dismantled in 1990, Makeba returned to South Africa. She continued recording and performing, including a 1991 album with Nina Simone and Dizzy Gillespie, and appeared in the 1992 film Sarafina!. She was named an FAO Goodwill Ambassador in 1999, and campaigned for humanitarian causes. She died of a heart attack during a 2008 concert in Italy.
Makeba was among the first African musicians to receive worldwide recognition. She brought African music to a Western audience, and popularized the world music and Afropop genres. She also made popular several songs critical of apartheid, and became a symbol of opposition to the system, particularly after her right to return was revoked. Upon her death, former South African President Nelson Mandela said that "her music inspired a powerful sense of hope in all of us."

One Direction, often shortened to 1D, are an English-Irish pop boy band formed in London, England in 2010. The group are composed of Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson; former member Zayn Malik departed from the group in March 2015. The group signed with Simon Cowell's record label Syco Records after forming and finishing third in the seventh series of the British televised singing competition The X Factor in 2010.
Propelled to global success by social media, One Direction's five albums, Up All Night(2011), Take Me Home(2012), Midnight Memories(2013), Four(2014), and Made in the A.M.(2015), topped charts in most major markets, and generated hit singles including "What Makes You Beautiful" (their first number one on the UK Singles Chart, and the highest debut for a British act on the US Billboard Hot 100 since 1998), "Live While We're Young", "Best Song Ever", "Story of My Life" and "Drag Me Down". After the release of Four, One Direction became the first band in the US Billboard 200 history to have their first four albums debut at number one. Their third album, Midnight Memories, was the best-selling album worldwide of 2013.
Considered teen idols, One Direction were often subject to fan hysteria. They embarked on four world tours, two of which were all-stadium. The band's Where We Are Tour, in support of Midnight Memories, was the highest-grossing concert tour in 2014, the highest-grossing tour by a vocal group in history, and the 15th highest-grossing concert tour of all time, grossing $290.2 million (unadjusted for inflation). The band went on hiatus in January 2016, allowing all members to pursue other projects.
As of 2020, the band have sold a total of 70 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling boy bands of all time. The band have won nearly 200 awards, including seven Brit Awards, four MTV Video Music Awards, six Billboard Music Awards, seven American Music Awards (including Artist of the Year in 2014 and 2015), and 28 Teen Choice Awards. In 2013, they earned an estimated $75 million, becoming the second highest earning celebrity under 30 according to Forbes. As the world's best-selling artist of 2013, the group was named the Global Recording Artist of the Year by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. In 2014, Billboard named the band "Artist of the Year". Forbes ranked them as the fourth highest-earning celebrities in the world in 2015, and second in 2016.

She's been my queen since we were sixteen
We want the same things
We dream the same dreams
Alright? Alright!
I got it all cause she is the one
Her mom calls me "Love", her dad calls me "Son"
Alright? Alright!
I know, I know, I know for sure

Everybody wanna steal my girl
Everybody wanna take her heart away
Couple billion in the whole wide world
Find another one cause she belongs to me

Everybody wanna steal my girl
Everybody wanna take her heart away
Couple billion in the whole wide world
Find another one cause she belongs to me

Na na na na na na (oh, yeah)
Na na na na na na (alright)
Na na na na na na (she belongs to me)

Kisses that queen, her walk is so mean
And every jaw drops
When she's in those jeans
Alright? Alright!
I don't exist if I don't have her
The sun doesn't shine, the world doesn't turn
Alright? Alright!
But I know, I know, I know for sure

Everybody wanna steal my girl
Everybody wanna take her heart away
Couple billion in the whole wide world
Find another one cause she belongs to me

Everybody wanna steal my girl
Everybody wanna take her heart away
Couple billion in the whole wide world
Find another one 'cause she belongs to me

Na na na na na na (oh yeah)
Na na na na na na (alright)
Na na na na na na na
Na na na na na na na

She knows, she knows
That I never let her down before
She knows, she knows
That I'm never gonna let them
Take her love away from me now

Everybody wanna steal my girl
Everybody wanna take her love away
Couple billion in the whole wide world
Find another one cause she belongs to me

Everybody wanna steal my girl
Everybody wanna take her heart away
Couple billion in the whole wide world
Find another one cause she belongs to me

Na na na na na na (oh, yeah)
Na na na na na na (alright)
Na na na na na na (she belongs to me)

Na na na na na na (oh, yeah)
Na na na na na na (alright)
Na na na na na na
She belongs to me

Perdona si te hago llorar
perdona si te hago sufrir
pero es que no está en mis manos
pero es que no está en mis manos
me he enamorado, me he enamorado
me enamore.
perdona si te causo dolor
perdona si te digo adiós
como decirle que te amo
como decirle que te amo
si me ha preguntado
yo le dije que no
yo le dije que no.
Soy honesto con ella y contigo
a ella la quiero y a ti te he olvidado
si tu quieres seremos amigos
yo te ayudo a olvidar el pasado
no te aferres, ya no te aferres
a un imposible, ya no te hagas
ni me hagas más daño, ya no.
Tu bien sabes
que no fue mi culpa
tu te fuiste sin decirme nada
y a pesar que llore como nunca
ya no seguías de mi enamorada
luego te fuiste
y que regresabas
no me dijiste
y sin más nada
¿por qué? no sé
pero fue así
así fue.
Te brinde la mejor de las suertes
yo me propuse no hablarte y no verte
y hoy que has vuelto
ya ves solo hay nada
ya no debo, no puedo quererte
ya no te amo
me he enamorado
de un ser divino
de un buen amor
que me enseño
a olvidar
y a perdonar

Soy honesto con ella y contigo(se repite).
