me he enamorado, me he enamorado
me enamore.
perdona si te causo dolor
perdona si te digo adiós
como decirle que te amo
como decirle que te amo
si me ha preguntado
yo le dije que no
yo le dije que no.
Soy honesto con ella y contigo
a ella la quiero y a ti te he olvidado
si tu quieres seremos amigos
yo te ayudo a olvidar el pasado
no te aferres, ya no te aferres
a un imposible, ya no te hagas
ni me hagas más daño, ya no.
Tu bien sabes
que no fue mi culpa
tu te fuiste sin decirme nada
y a pesar que llore como nunca
ya no seguías de mi enamorada
luego te fuiste
y que regresabas
no me dijiste
y sin más nada
¿por qué? no sé
pero fue así
así fue.
Te brinde la mejor de las suertes
yo me propuse no hablarte y no verte
y hoy que has vuelto
ya ves solo hay nada
ya no debo, no puedo quererte
ya no te amo
me he enamorado
de un ser divino
de un buen amor
que me enseño
a olvidar
y a perdonar

Soy honesto con ella y contigo(se repite).

ALBUM: DON’T PLAY THAT SONG!
GENRE: SOUL

ANO: 1975

Benjamin Earl King ( Nelson; September 28, 1938 – April 30, 2015) was an American soul and R&B singer and record producer. He is best known as the singer and co-composer of "Stand by Me"—a U.S. Top 10 hit, both in 1961 and later in 1986 (when it was used as the theme to the film of the same name), a number one hit in the United Kingdom in 1987, and number 25 on the RIAA's list of Songs of the Century—and as one of the principal lead singers of the R&B vocal group The Drifters, notably singing the lead vocals of one of their biggest global hit singles (and only U.S. No. 1 hit), "Save the Last Dance for Me". Besides "Stand By Me”, his songs "There Goes My Baby" and "Spanish Harlem" also appeared on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's list of 500 Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll.
"Stand by Me" is a song originally performed in 1961 by American singer-songwriter Ben E. King and written by him, along with Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, who together used the pseudonym Elmo Glick. According to King, the title is derived from, and was inspired by, a spiritual written by Sam Cooke and J. W. Alexander called "Stand by Me Father," recorded by the Soul Stirrers with Johnnie Taylor singing lead. The third line of the second verse of the former work derives from Psalm 46:2c/3c.
It was featured on the soundtrack of the 1986 film of the same name, and a corresponding music video, featuring King along with actors River Phoenix and Wil Wheaton, was released to promote the film. It was also featured in a 1987 European commercial of Levi's 501 jeans, contributing to greater success in Europe. In 2012, its royalties were estimated to have topped $22.8 million (£17 million), making it the sixth highest-earning song as of its era. 50% of the royalties were paid to King. In 2015, King's original version was inducted into the National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress, as "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant", just under five weeks before his death. Later in the year, the 2015 lineup of the Drifters recorded it in tribute.
There have been over 400 recorded versions of the song, performed by many artists, notably Otis Redding, John Lennon, Cassius Clay (later Muhammad Ali), 4 the Cause, Tracy Chapman, musicians of the Playing for Change project, Florence and the Machine, and the Kingdom Choir. A-League club Melbourne Victory FC play this song before home matches, while fans raise their scarves above their heads and sing the lyrics.
Don't Play That Song! is the third studio album by Ben E. King. The album was released by Atlantic Records as an LP in 1962 and was home to five notable singles: "Stand by Me", "Ecstasy", "First Taste of Love", "Here Comes the Night", and the title track, "Don't Play That Song (You Lied)".

When the night has come
And the land is dark
And the moon is the only light we'll see
No, I won't be afraid
No, I won't be afraid
Just as long as you stand
Stand by me

So darlin', darlin', stand by me
Oh, stand by me
Oh, stand
Stand by me, stand by me

If the sky that we look upon
Should tumble and fall
Or the mountains should crumble to the sea
I won't cry, I won't cry
No I won't shed a tear
Just as long as you stand
Stand by me

And darlin', darlin', stand by me
Oh, stand by me
Oh, stand now
Stand by me, stand by me

And darlin', darlin', stand by me
Oh, stand by me
Oh, stand now
Stand by me, stand by me

Whenever you're in trouble won't you stand by me
Oh, stand by me
Won't you stand by.

BEGIN THE BEGUIN
PAT BOONE
AUTORIA: COLE PORTER
COUNTRY: U.S.A.
ALBUM: HOWDY! BY PAT BOONE/LP
LABEL: DOT RECORDS
GENRE: RUMBA LENTA
ANO: 1956

"Begin the Beguine" is a popular song written by Cole Porter. Porter composed the song between Kalabahi, Indonesia, and Fiji during a 1935 Pacific cruise aboard Cunard's ocean liner Franconia. In October 1935, it was introduced by June Knight in the Broadway musical Jubilee, produced at the Imperial Theatre in New York City.
Howdy! is the 1957 debut studio album by Pat Boone. It followed a previous self-titled album compilation of previously released singles.
A Beguine was originally a Christian lay woman of the 13th or 14th century living in a religious community without formal vows, but in the creole of the Caribbean, especially in Martinique and Guadeloupe, the term came to mean "white woman", and then to be applied to a style of music and dance, and in particular a slow, close couples' dance. This combination of French ballroom dance and Latin folk dance became popular in Paris and spread further abroad in the 1940s, largely due to the influence of the Porter song.
When they begin the beguine,
It brings back the sound of music so tender,
It brings back the night of tropical splendor,
It brings back a memory evergreen!

I’m with you once more under the stars,
And down by the shore an orchestra’s playing.
Even the palms seem to be swaying
When they begin the beguine!

To live it again is past all endeavor,
Except when that tune clutches my heart,
And there we are swearing to love forever,
And promising never, never to part!

What moments divine, what raptures serene,
Till clouds came along to disperse the joys we had tasted...
And now, when I hear people curse the chance that was wasted,
I know but too well what they mean!

So, don’t let them begin the beguine,
Let the love that was once a fire remain an ember ...
Let it sleep like the dead desire I only remember,
When they begin the beguine!

Oh yes, let them begin the beguine, make them play!
Till the stars that were there before return above you,
Till you whisper to me once more, “Darling, I love you!”
And we suddenly know, what heaven we’re in,
When they begin the beguine!

When they begin... the beguine!
