When my love said to me
Meet me down by the gallow tree
For it's sad news I bring
About this old town and all that it's offering
Some say troubles abound
Someday soon they're gonna pull the old town down
One day we'll return here,
When the belfast child sings again

Brothers sisters where are you now
As I look for you right through the crowd
All my life here I've spent
With my faith in God the church and the government
But there's sadness abound
Someday soon they're gonna pull the old town down

One day we'll return here,
When the belfast child sings again
When the belfast child sings again

Some come back billy, won't you come on home
Come back mary, you've been away so long
The streets are empty, and your mother's gone
The girls are crying, it's been oh so long
And your father's calling, come on home
Won't you come on home, won't you come on home

Ome back people, you've been gone a while
And the war is raging, in the emerald isle
That's flesh and blood man, that's flesh and blood
All the girls are crying but all's not lost

The streets are empty, the streets are cold
Won't you come on home, won't you come on home

The streets are empty
Life goes on

One day we'll return here
When the belfast child sings again

When the belfast child sings again

"Hava Nagila" (Hebrew: הבה נגילה, Havah Nagilah, "Let us rejoice") is an Israeli folk song traditionally sung at Jewish celebrations. It is perhaps the first modern Israeli folk song in the Hebrew language that has become a staple of band performers at Jewish weddings and bar/bat mitzvah celebrations. It was composed in the 1920s in the British Mandate of Palestine, when Hebrew was being revived for the first time as a spoken language in almost 2,000 years (since the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 AD). For the first time, Jews were being encouraged to speak Hebrew as a common language, instead of Yiddish, Arabic, Ladino, or other regional Jewish languages.
Abraham Zevi Idelsohn (1882–1938), a professor at Hebrew University, began cataloging all known Jewish music and teaching classes in musical composition; one of his students was a promising cantorial student, Moshe Nathanson, who (with the rest of his class) was presented by the professor with a 19th-century, slow, melodious, chant (niggun or nigun) and assigned to add rhythm and words to fashion a modern Hebrew song. There are competing claims regarding Hava Nagila's composer, with both Idelsohn and Nathanson being suggested.

CLOVES
SONGWRITERS: KEITH FORSEY & STEVE SCHIFF
COUNTRY: AUSTRALIA
ALBUM: XIII
LABEL: UNIVERSAL MUSIC
GENRE: NEW WAVE
YEAR: 2015

Cloves (born Kaity Dunstan; Melbourne, 1996) is an Australian singer-songwriter. which includes the song "Don't Forget About Me" from the soundtrack of the 2016 film Me Before You.
"Don't You (Forget About Me)" é uma canção da banda escocesa Simple Minds, gravada para a trilha sonora do filme The Breakfast Club. Foi composta por Keith Forsey and Steve Schiff.

If I fall, can you pull me up?
Is it true, you’re watching out?
And when I'm tired, do you lay down with me?
In my head so I can sleep without you?

Hey, hey
Without you there's holes in my soul
Hey, hey
Let the water in

Where ever you've gone?
How, how, how?
I just need to know
That you won't forget about me

Where ever you've gone?
How, how, how?
I just need to know
That you won't forget about me

Lost through time and that's all I need
So much love, then one day buried
Hope you're safe, cause I lay you leaves
Is there more than we can see?
Answers for me

And hey, hey
Without you there's holes in my soles
Hey, hey
Let the water in
Where ever you've gone?
How, how, how?
I just need to know
That you won't forget about me

Where ever you've gone?
How, how, how?
I just need to know
That you won't forget about me

And I get lonely without you
And I can't move on
And I get lonely without you
I can't move on
Move on
Where ever you've gone?
How, how, how?
I just need to know

That you won't forget about me

LABEL: COLUMBIA RECORDS
GENRE: FOLK
YEAR: 2001

Ten New Songs é o décimo álbum de estúdio de Leonard Cohen, lançado em 2001, feito em parceria com a cantora, compositora e produtora Sharon Robinson.
Leonard Cohen is a Canadian singer-songwriter and poet active in music since 1967. Cohen has released 13º studio albums and 6 live albums during the course of a recording career lasting almost 50 years, throughout which he has remained an active poet. His entire catalogue is available on Columbia Records. His 1967 debut Songs of Leonard Cohen earned an RIAA gold record; he followed up with three more highly acclaimed albums: Songs From A Room (1969), Songs of Love and Hate (1971) and New Skin For The Old Ceremony (1974), before allowing Phil Spector to produce Death of a Ladies' Man for Warner Bros. Records in 1977. Cohen returned to Columbia in 1979 for Recent Songs, but the label declined to release his next album, Various Positions (1984) in the US, leaving it to American shops to import it from CBS Canada. In 1988, Columbia got behind Cohen again and gave full support to I'm Your Man, which brought his career to new heights, and Cohen followed it with 1992's The Future. Cohen then took a nine-year hiatus, and returned with Ten New Songs in (2001), which he made with Sharon Robinson, following this with Dear Heather (2004). In 2008 Cohen began touring for the first time in 15 years and, as well as the release of several live albums, he released Old Ideas (2012) which peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart. This was the highest ranking ever for a Leonard Cohen album, and became his first to top the Canadian Albums Chart, a feat he repeated with his followup, Popular Problems, released in 2014. His live albums include Live Songs (1973), Cohen Live: Leonard Cohen in Concert (1994), Live in London (2009) and Songs from the Road, (2010) from his 2008–2009 world tour, and Live at the Isle of Wight 1970 (2009).

O crown of light, o darkened one
I never thought we'd meet
You kiss my lips, and then it's done
I'm back on boogie street

A sip of wine, a cigarette
And then it's time to go
I tidied up the kitchenette
I tuned the old banjo
I'm wanted at the traffic jam
They're saving me a seat
I'm what I am, and what I am
Is back on boogie street

And o my love, I still recall
The pleasures that we knew
The rivers and the waterfall
Wherein I bathed with you
Bewildered by your beauty there
I'd kneel to dry your feet
By such instructions you prepare
A man for boogie street

O crown of light, o darkened one?

So come, my friends, be not afraid
We are so lightly here
It is in love that we are made
In love we disappear
Tho' all the maps of blood and flesh
Are posted on the door
There's no one who has told us yet
What boogie street is for

O crown of light, o darkened one
I never thought we'd meet
You kiss my lips, and then it's done
I'm back on boogie street

A sip of wine, a cigarette

And then it's time to go
