"Dancing On My Own" is a song by Swedish Singer Robyn, taken from her fifth studio album, Body Talk Pt.1 (2010). The song was written and produced by Robyn and Patrik Berger, and was inspired by disco anthems by Ultravox, Sylvester and Donna Summer. The song was released as Body Talk Pt. 1's lead single on 1 June 2010, in Sweden and the United States. "Dancing on My Own" is na electronic ballad that speaks of a female protagonist who dances alone in a club while watching her ex-lover with another woman.

"Dancing On My Own" received positive reviews from critics, who compared its theme of loneliness to Robyn's previous singles "With Every Heartbeat" and "Be Mine!" The song peaked atop the Sverigetopplistan chart, becoming Robyn's first number one in her native country. The song also reached the top ten in Denmark, Norway, and the United Kingdom. In the United States, the song managed to reach number three on the Hot Dance Club Songs chart. "Dancing On My Own" was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording.

Nehemiah Curtis "Skip" James (June 9, 1902 – October 3, 1969) was an American Delta blues singer, guitarist, pianist and songwriter.

His guitar playing is noted for its dark, minor-key sound, played in an open D-minor tuning with an intricate fingerpicking technique. James first recorded for Paramount Records in 1931, but these recordings sold poorly, having been released during the Great Depression, and he drifted into obscurity. After a long absence from the public eye, James was "rediscovered" in 1964 by three blues enthusiasts, helping further the blues and folk music revival of the 1950s and early 1960s. During this period, James appeared at folk and blues festivals, gave concerts around the country and recorded several albums for various record labels.

His songs have influenced generations of musicians, having been adapted or covered by Kansas Joe McCoy, Robert Johnson, Alan Wilson, Cream, Deep Purple, Chris Thomas King, Alvin Youngblood Hart, the Derek Trucks Band, Beck, Big Sugar, Eric Clapton, John Martyn, Lucinda Williams and Rory Block. He has been hailed as "one of the seminal figures of the blues.

Today! is the third studio album by Delta blues musician Skip James, released in 1966.

Today! is the second studio album, but third body of work recorded by folk/country blues musician Mississippi John Hurt. It was released in 1966 by Vanguard Records. This album contains some of the first commercial material recorded after his "rediscovery" in 1963, and is the first he recorded for Vanguard. The album spans several genres and styles of music, ranging from traditional blues and folk songs, to country, to African-American spirituals. Along with Hurt's two previous releases, Today! helped to reveal his work to a wider folk audience. In 2009, the album was one of the twenty-five selections that were added to the Library of Congress' National Recording Registry.
