A-HA
SONGWRITER: MAGNE FURUHOLMEN
COUNTRY: NORWAY
WHERE: ROYAL ALBERT HALL, LONDON 2010
ALBUM: SCOUNDREL DAYS
LABEL: WARNER BROS RECORDS
GENRE: NEW WAVE
YEAR: 1987

O álbum incluiu hits como I've Been Losing You (#8 no Reino Unido), Cry Wolf (#5 no Reino Unido e #50 nos Estados Unidos) e Manhattan Skyline (#13 no Reino Unido).

Maybe you were joking
When you said that you were
walking out on me
Maybe, maybe

Maybe I was joking
When I said that I was running out on you
Maybe, maybe

I could be wrong, so wrong
I could be wrong, so wrong
I could be wrong

I don't know, but it's been said
Decisions travel far from heart to head
Maybe, maybe

Maybe it was over
When you chucked me out the
Rover at full speed
Maybe, maybe oh baby

I could be wrong, so wrong
I could be wrong, so wrong

I could be wrong, so wrong.

Here comes Johnny singing Oldies, Goldies
Be-bop-a-lula, baby, what I say
Here comes Johnny singing I gotta woman
Down in the tunnels, trying to make it pay

He got the action, he got the motion
Oh yeah, the boy can play
Dedication, devotion
Turning all the night time into the day

He do the song about the sweet lovin' woman
He do the song about the knife
And he do the walk, he do the walk of life
Yeah, he do the walk of life
Here comes Johnny goin' tell you the story
Hand me down my walkin' shoes
Here come Johnny with the power and the glory
Backbeat, the talkin' blues
He got the action, he got the motion
Yeah, the boy can play
Dedication, devotion
Turning all the night time into the day

He do the song about the sweet lovin' woman
He do the song about the knife
And he do the walk, he do the walk of life
Yeah, he do the walk of life
Here comes Johnny singing oldies, goldies
Be-bop-a-lula, baby what I say
Here comes Johnny singing "I Gotta Woman"
Down in the tunnels, trying to make it pay

He got the action, he got the motion
Oh yeah, the boy can play
Dedication, devotion
Turning all the night time into the day

And after all the violence and double talk
There's just a song in all the trouble and the strife
You do the walk, you do the walk of life
Hum, you do the walk of life.

The summer air was soft and warm
The feeling right, the Paris night
Did it's best to please us
And strolling down the Elysee
We had a drink in each cafe
And you
You talked of politics, philosophy and I
Smiled like Mona Lisa
We had our chance
It was a fine and true romance

I can still recall our last summer
I still see it all
Walks along the Seine, laughing in the rain
Our last summer
Memories that remain

We made our way along the river
And we sat down in the grass
By the Eiffel tower
I was so happy we had met
It was the age of no regret
Oh yes
Those crazy years, that was the time
Of the flower-power
But underneath we had a fear of flying
Of getting old, a fear of slowly dying
We took the chance
Like we were dancing our last dance

I can still recall our last summer
I still see it all
In the tourist jam, round the Notre Dame
Our last summer
Walking hand in hand

Paris restaurants
Our last summer
Morning croissants
Living for the day, worries far away
Our last summer
We could laugh and play

And now you're working in a bank
The family man, the football fan
And your name is Harry
How dull it seems
Yet you're the hero of my dreams

I can still recall our last summer
I still see it all
Walks along the Seine, laughing in the rain
Our last summer
Memories that remain
I can still recall our last summer
I still see it all
In the tourist jam, round the Notre Dame
Our last summer
Walking hand in hand
Paris restaurants
Our last summer
Morning croissants

We were living for the day, worries far away.

Eu perco o chão
Eu não acho as palavras
Eu ando tão triste
Eu ando pela sala
Eu perco a hora
Eu chego no fim
Eu deixo a porta aberta
Eu não moro mais em mim

Eu perco as chaves de casa
Eu perco o freio
Estou em milhares de cacos
Eu estou ao meio
Onde será
Que você está agora?

Eu perco as chaves de casa
Eu perco o freio
Estou em milhares de cacos
Eu estou ao meio
Onde será
Que você está agora?

Eu perco o chão
Eu não acho as palavras
Eu ando tão triste
Eu ando pela sala
Eu perco a hora
Eu chego no fim
Eu deixo a porta aberta
Eu não moro mais em mim

Eu perco as chaves de casa
Eu perco o freio
Estou em milhares de cacos
Eu estou ao meio

Que você está agora?

Eu perco as chaves de casa
Eu perco o freio
Estou em milhares de cacos
Eu estou ao meio
Onde será
