"Circle of Life" is a song from Disney's 1994 animated film The Lion King. Composed by Elton John, with lyrics by Tim Rice, the song was performed by Carmen Twillie(the deep female lead vocals) and Lebo M. (opening Zulu vocals) as the film's opening song. In an interview, Rice said he was amazed at the speed with which John composed: "I gave him the lyrics at the beginning of the session at about two in the afternoon. By half-past three, he'd finished writing and recording a stunning demo." Elton John sang a pop version (with alternative lyrics) of the song with the London Community Gospel Choir, which was included in the film's soundtrack and made into a music video. "Circle of Life" was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1994, along with two other songs from The Lion King: "Hakuna Matata" and "Can You Feel the Love Tonight," the latter of which won the award.
The song reached No. 11 in the UK and No. 18 in the United States and is featured frequently in attractions based on The Lion King, such as Disney theme parks and parades. Michael Crawford sang it as part of a medley for The Disney Album in 2001.
The song will be featured in Disney's 2019 photorealistic computer-animated remake of The Lion King and was used in the first trailer of the film, a near shot-for-shot remake of the opening of the original animated film.
Carmen Beth Twillie(born April 8, 1950) is an American studio singer and actress. She is a long-time friend of Tommy Morgan and has appeared as guest soloist with Morgan's choir. She worked with Pink Floyd for their 1987 album, A Momentary Lapse of Reason, providing additional voices. She provided the singing voice of Stormella in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Movie in 1998 and she was a vocal singer in Cats Don't Dance. She does a couple small voice roles in The Nightmare Before Christmas as the Undersea Gal and the Man under the bed. She also appeared on the Chowder episode Sing Beans doing one of the voices for the sing beans along with voice actors Jess Harnell, John DiMaggio, and Tara Strong.
She also is a backup singer, having appeared in several albums released by artists such as Celine Dion and Whitney Houston.

From the day we arrive on the planet
And blinking, step into the sun
There's more to see than can ever be seen
More to do than can ever be done
There's far too much to take in here
More to find than can ever be found
But the sun rolling high
Through the sapphire sky
Keeps great and small on the endless round

It's the circle of life
And it moves us all
Through despair and hope
Through faith and love
Till we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the circle
The circle of life

It's the circle of life
And it moves us all
Through despair and hope
Through faith and love
Till we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the circle
The circle of life.

Puisque l'ombre gagne

Qu'ira mieux battre ton coeur

Puisque tu pars

Dans ton histoire (dans ton histoire)
Garde en mémoire (garde en mémoire)
Notre au revoir (notre au revoir)
Puisque tu pars (puisque tu pars)

Puisque tu pars (puisque tu pars).
ONE JUMP AHEAD
ALADDIN(BRADE KATE)
SONGWRITER: DISNEY(ALAN MENKEN & TIM RICE)
COUNTRY: U. S. A.
ALBUM: ALADDIN (ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK)
LABEL: WALT DISNEY RECORDS
GENRE: SOUNDTRACK
YEAR: 1992

"One Jump Ahead" and its reprise are two songs from the 1992 Disney animated film Aladdin. They are both performed by Aladdin(Brad Kane in the film, and Adam Jacobs in the musical).
Aladdin had a lot of rewrites during production, and many songs were cut as characters were written out of the script or as the plot was altered. At one point, the song which showed Aladdin being at his lowest point and wanting to strive for more with his life was entitled "Proud of Your Boy", and was directed at his mother who was disappointed by his life choices. After being controversially cut, another attempt was 'Count On Me' a "low-key "I want" song" for Aladdin. Eventually the song 'One Jump Ahead' and its reprise were chosen.
"One Jump Ahead" and "A Whole New World" were written by Alan Menken and Tim Rice for Aladdin after Howard Ashman died in March 1991. Ashman and Menken had originally written a series of musical numbers, many of which were cut. The Cinema Scene explains "Babkak, Omar, Aladdin, Kassim [was] A jumpy tune that helped to inspire "One Jump Ahead" in the final film".
[Aladdin:] Gotta keep
One jump ahead of the breadline
One swing ahead of the sword
I steal only what I can't afford
(That's everything!)

One jump ahead of the lawmen
That's all, and that's no joke
These guys don't appreciate I'm broke

[Crowd:] Riffraff! Street rat! Soundrel! Take that!

[Aladdin:] Just a little snack, guys
[Crowd:] Rip him open, take it back, guys
[Aladdin:] I can take a hint, gotta face the facts
You're my only friend, Abu!
[Crowd:] Who?
Oh it's that Aladdin's hit the bottom.
He's become a one-man rise in crime
I'd blame parents except he hasn't got 'em
[Aladdin:] Gotta eat to live, gotta steal to eat
Tell you all about it when I got the time!

One jump ahead of the slowpokes
One skip ahead of my doom
Next time gonna use a nom de plume
One jump ahead of the hitmen
One hit ahead of the flock
I think I'll take a stroll around the block

[Crowd:] Stop, thief! Vandal! Outrage! Scandal!

[Aladdin:] Let's not be too hasty
[Lady:] Still I think he's rather tasty
[Aladdin:] Gotta eat to live, gotta steal to eat
Otherwise we'd get along
[Crowd:] Wrong!

[Aladdin:] One jump ahead of the hoofbeats
(Vandal!)
One hop ahead of the hump
(Street rat!)
One trick ahead of disaster
(Scoundrel!)
They're quick, but I'm much faster
(Take that!)
Here goes, better throw my hand in
Wish me happy landin'
All I gotta do is jump.

As you go through life you'll see
There is so much that we
Don't understand
And the only thing we know
Is things don't always go
The way we planned

But you'll see every day
That we'll never turn away
When it seems all your dreams come undone
We will stand by your side
Filled with hope and filled with pride
We are more than we are
We are one

Family family
We are one (du duh duh)
Family family
We are one (du duh duh)

If there's so much I must be
Can I still just be me
The way I am
Can I trust in my own heart
Or am I just one part
Of some big plan

Even those who are gone
Are with us as we go on
Your jouney has only begun
Tears of pain tears of joy
One thing nothing can't destroy
Is our pride deep inside
We are one

Family family
We are one (du duh duh)
Family family
We are one (du duh duh)

We are one
You and I
We are like the earth and sky
One family under the sun
All the wisdom to lead
All the courage that you need
You will find
When you see
We are one.
