All Things in Time is an album by American R&B singer Lou Rawls, released in June 1976 on the Philadelphia International Records label. Coming after a career lull in the years immediately preceding, All Things in Time was Rawls' first album for PIR; at the time he was the first artist to sign with PIR after having already enjoyed a substantial recording career and chart success with other record labels. The album includes Rawls' most famous hit song "You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine".
Louis Allen Rawls (December 1, 1933 – January 6, 2006) was an American singer, songwriter, actor, voice actor, and record producer. Rawls released more than 60 albums, sold more than 40 million records, and had numerous charting singles, most notably his song "You'll Never Find Another Love like Mine". He worked as a film, television, and voice actor. He was also a three-time Grammy-winner, all for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance.
On the night of September 29, 1977, Rawls performed the national anthem of the United States before the Earnie Shavers-Muhammad Ali title fight at Madison Square Garden. He was invited to sing the anthem many times over the next 28 years. His final performance was in his hometown of Chicago when he was asked to sing the national anthem before the second game of the 2005 World Series between the Chicago White Sox and Houston Astros at U.S. Cellular Field.
In 1982, Rawls received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. On January 19, 1985, he sang "Wind Beneath My Wings" at the nationally televised 50th Presidential Inaugural Gala the day before the second inauguration of Ronald Reagan.
This song will last forever
After we're dead and gone
You know the melody will linger on and on and on
Talking about this song
Is gonna last forever

Generations come
Generations go
But they dance to the same music
And fall in love as they go
Songs like tangerine
I'm in the mood for love
I wonder how many people have danced across the floor
I wonder how many violins have played
The melody to my way
While lover sits
Lover sit back and alight
And how many songs about June
While people swoon by the light of the silvery moon

I said this song is gonna last forever
After we're dead and gone
Let me tell you that the melody will longer on and on and on

I'm talking about this song
It's gonna last forever
You know there's a song for every thought
And every special occasion
There's a song for resistance and
There's a song for persuasion
There's a song for pain and pleasure
Stormy and sunshiny weather

This song gonna last forever after we're dead and gone
You know the melody will linger on and on and on
I'm talking about this song, is gonna last forever
This song, is gonna last forever
After we're dead and gone
You know the melody, the melody will linger on and on and on
I'm talking about this song, is gonna last forever

Well, well, well...
This song is gonna last a long long time
Gonna be around forever
Songs like "When I fall in love"
Songs like[?]
Songs like[?]
Songs like "I love music"
Songs like "Tobacco road"
Songs like "Natural men"
Songs like "Dead end street"
Songs like[?]
Songs that make you wanna dance all night long
Talking about this song
Talking about this song
This song...

Frankie Laine(born Francesco Paolo LoVecchio; March 30, 1913 – February 6, 2007) was an American singer, songwriter, and actor whose career spanned nearly 75 years, from his first concerts in 1930 with a marathon dance company to his final performance of "That's My Desire" in 2005. Often billed as "America's Number One Song Stylist", his other nicknames include "Mr. Rhythm", "Old Leather Lungs", and "Mr. Steel Tonsils". His hits included "That's My Desire", "That Lucky Old Sun", "Mule Train", "Jezebel", "High Noon", "Save Your Sorrow", "I Believe", "Hey Joe!", "The Kid's Last Fight", "Cool Water", "Rawhide", and "Lord, You Gave Me a Mountain".
He sang well-known theme songs for many movie Western soundtracks, including 3:10 To Yuma, Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, and Blazing Saddles, although his recordings were not charted as a country & western. Laine sang an eclectic variety of song styles and genres, stretching from big band crooning to pop, western-themed songs, gospel, rock, folk, jazz, and blues. He did not sing the soundtrack song for High Noon, which was sung by Tex Ritter, but his own version (with somewhat altered lyrics, omitting the name of the antagonist, Frank Miller) was the one that became a bigger hit, nor did he sing the theme to another show he is commonly associated with—Champion the Wonder Horse(sung by Mike Stewart)—but released his own, subsequently more popular, version.
Laine's enduring popularity was illustrated in June 2011, when a TV-advertised compilation called Hits reached No. 16 on the British chart. The accomplishment was achieved nearly 60 years after his debut on the UK chart, 64 years after his first major U.S. hit and four years after his death.
While Laine's influence on popular music, rock and roll and soul is rarely acknowledged by rock historians, his early crossover success as a singer of "race music" not only helped pave the way for other white artists who sang in the black style, like Kay Starr, Johnnie Ray and Elvis Presley, but also helped to increase public acceptance for African-American artists as well. Artists inspired and/or influenced by Laine include Ray Charles, Bobby Darin, Lou Rawls, The Kalin Twins, The Beatles, Tom Jones, James Brown, Billy Fury, and many others.
He was inducted into the Hit Parade Hall of Fame 2008.
In 2010, a Golden Palm Star on the Palm Springs, California, Walk of Stars was dedicated to him.
For his contributions to the music and television industry, Frankie Laine has two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The music star is at the north side of the 1600 block on Hollywood Boulevard, the television star is at the west side of the 1600 block on Vine Street.
On June 25, 2019, The New York Times Magazine listed Frankie Laine among hundreds of artists whose material was reportedly destroyed in the 2008 Universal fire.
Your love and mine, dear, it will shine, dear
Just like that golden ring on your finger

Love isn't just for tonight
Or two arms that hold me so tight
Love is a song that two must learn to sing
And love is a golden ring

Love's not a summer romance
Or the kiss that follows the dance
Love is forever a rare and lasting thing
And love is a golden ring

A wedding in the Church, the happiness and tears
The little ring you'll wear will last through all the years
And in our golden days, we'll find eternal spring
With love and the golden ring

So please won't you wear it for me
With faith and sweet charity
And for lonely lovers lost
This message we will bring

Love is a golden ring
Love is a golden ring
Love is a golden ring
Love.

SHE'S A LADY
PAUL ANKA
SONGWRITER: PAUL ANKA
COUNTRY: CANADA
ALBUM: LIVE IN LAS VEGAS
LABEL: BARNABY RECORDS
GENRE: POP
YEAR: 1975

Paul Albert Anka (born July 30, 1941) OC is a Canadian singer, songwriter and actor. Anka became famous with hit songs like "Diana", "Lonely Boy", "Put Your Head on My Shoulder", and "(You're) Having My Baby". He wrote such well-known music as the theme for The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and one of Tom Jones's biggest hits, "She's a Lady". He also wrote the English lyrics to Claude François and Jacques Revaux's music for Frank Sinatra's signature song, "My Way", which has been recorded by many, including Elvis Presley.
In 1983, he co-wrote the song "I Never Heard" with Michael Jackson. It was retitled and released in 2009, under the title "This Is It". An additional song that Jackson co-wrote with Anka from the 1983 session, "Love Never Felt So Good", was released in 2014 on Jackson's posthumous album Xscape. The song was also released by Johnny Mathis in 1984.
Anka became a naturalized US citizen in 1990.
(...)1970s chart comeback
Anka with friends Bill Porter and Elvis Presley backstage at the Las Vegas Hilton on August 5, 1972
Frustrated after more than ten years without a top 25 hit record, Anka switched labels again, which marked a turning point in his career. This time he signed with United Artists and in 1974 teamed up with Odia Coates to record the No. 1 hit, "(You're) Having My Baby", exposing Anka to a new generation of fans and proved his staying power among his original fan base that was now maturing.
Anka also wrote five songs which were included on an album by Don Goodwin.
Anka and Coates would record two more duets that made it into the Top 10, "One Man Woman/One Woman Man" (No. 7) and "I Don't Like to Sleep Alone" (No. 8), and the No.15 duet "(I Believe) There's Nothing Stronger Than Our Love". In 1975 he recorded a jingle for Kodak written by Bill Lane (lyrics) and Roger Nichols(melody) called "Times of Your Life". It became so popular Anka recorded it as a full song, which peaked at No. 7 in the US pop chart in 1976. The follow-up was another hit that Anka wrote for Sinatra, "Anytime (I'll Be There)", peaking at No. 33. Anka's last Top 40 hit in the US was in the summer of 1983: "Hold Me 'Til the Mornin' Comes", which included backing vocals from then-Chicago frontman Peter Cetera; it hit No. 2 on the Hot Adult Contemporary chart.
1990s comeback
His 1998 album A Body of Work was his first new US studio release since Walk a Fine Line in 1983; vocalists and performers included Celine Dion, Kenny G, Patti LaBelle, and Skyler Jett. The album included a new version of "Hold Me 'Til the Morning Comes", once again performed with Peter Cetera. In 2005, his album of big-band arrangements of contemporary standards, Rock Swings, provided a mainstream comeback of sorts that saw him awarded a star on Canada's Walk of Fame in Toronto.
On October 12, 2009, Anka stated that Michael Jackson's new release titled "This Is It" was a collaborative effort between the two in 1983. According to Anka, after recording the song, Jackson decided not to use it and the tune was then recorded and released by Sa-Fire. After Anka threatened to sue for credit and a share of royalties, the administrators of Jackson's estate granted Anka 50% of the copyright. An additional song that Jackson co-wrote with Anka from this 1983 session, "Love Never Felt So Good", was discovered shortly thereafter. His album Songs of December charted at No. 58 in Canada in November 2011.
On June 25, 2019, The New York Times Magazine listed Paul Anka among hundreds of artists whose material was reportedly destroyed in the 2008 Universal fire.
[Verse:]
She knows what love’s about,
She turns me inside out,
That’s not easy.
She knows me through and through,
She knows what to do,
How to tease me.

[Chorus:]
She’s a lady, she’s a lady
We’re talking about my little lady
And the lady is mine.

[Verse:]
But she’s never in the way,
Always something nice to say
And what a blessing.
I can leave her on her own,
Knowing she’s okay alone
And that’s no messing.

[Chorus:]
She’s a lady, she’s a lady
We’re talking about my little lady
And the lady is mine.

[Bridge:]
Well she never asks for very much and I don't refuse her.
Always treat her with respect, I never would abuse her.
What she's got is hard to find, and I don't want to lose her.
Help me build a mountain from my side and lonely day.

[Verse:]
Well she's all you'd ever want,
The kind I’d like to flaunt
And take to dinner.
Well she always knows her place,
She's got style, she's got grace,
She's a winner.

[Chorus:]
She’s a lady, she’s my lady
We’re talking about my little lady
And the lady is mine.
She’s my lady, she’s my lady,
Listen to me, fellas, she’s my lady,
She’s nobody else’s, she’s my lady,
My woman only, my little lady
Tell ‘em girl, you’re my lady.
Paul, do you hear what I’m saying?
She’s my lady.
Sorry, Tom, my little lady.
Forget about it.
Yeah, she’s my lady,
My one and only little lady
We’re talking about my little lady
Yeah, she’s my lady.
