Quem vai chorar, quem vai chorar sou eu
Quando alguém (Zeca) me disse assim:
Ponha as mãos pro céu e agradeça a Deus
Deixa a vida te levar

As pragas e as ervas daninhas
As armas e os homens de mal
Vão desaparecer nas cinzas de um carnaval (2X).

Peter Gene Hernandez (born October 8, 1985), known professionally as Bruno Mars, is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, multi-instrumentalist, and dancer. He is known for his stage performances, retro showmanship, and for performing in a wide range of musical styles, including pop, R&B, funk, soul, reggae, hip hop, and rock. Mars is accompanied by his band, the Hooligans, who play a variety of instruments, such as electric guitar, bass, piano, keyboards, drums, and horns, and also serve as backup singers and dancers.
Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Mars moved to Los Angeles in 2003 to pursue a musical career. After being dropped by Motown Records, Mars signed a recording contract with Atlantic Records in 2009. In the same year, he co-founded the production team The Smeezingtons, responsible for various successful singles for Mars himself and other artists. Mars rose to fame in 2010 with the release of the successful singles "Nothin' on You" by B.o.B and "Billionaire" by Travie McCoy, both of which featured his vocals on the hooks. His debut studio album Doo-Wops & Hooligans (2010) spawned the international number-one singles "Just the Way You Are", "Grenade", and "The Lazy Song". The former won the Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.
Mars' second album, Unorthodox Jukebox (2012), became his first number one album on the US Billboard 200 and won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album. Its singles "Locked Out of Heaven" and "When I Was Your Man", reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. In 2014, Mars collaborated with Mark Ronson on "Uptown Funk", which topped various music charts and won Grammy Awards for Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. In 2016, Mars co-founded the production team Shampoo Press & Curl, who replaced The Smeezingtons on the composition of his third studio album, the R&B-focused, 24K Magic. The record received seven Grammy Awards, winning the major categories of Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year. The album also yielded the successful singles "24K Magic", "That's What I Like", and "Finesse".
Mars has sold over 130 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time. He has released seven number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 since his career launched in 2010, attaining his first five faster than any male artist since Elvis Presley. As a songwriter, he was included i Music Week and Billboard magazine as one of the best songwriters of 2011 and 2013, respectively. Mars has received several awards and nominations, including 11 Grammy Awards, three Brit Awards, nine American Music Awards, 10 Soul Train Awards and holds three Guinness World Records. He has appeared in Time magazine's list of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2011 and Forbes magazine's lists of '30 under 30' in 2013, and Celebrity 100 in 2014, 2018 and 2019.
"Talking to the Moon" is a song by American singer-songwriter Bruno Mars from his debut studio album, Doo-Wops & Hooligans (2010). The song was first unveiled on Mars' debut extended play, It's Better If You Don't Understand (2010), as its last track. It was written by Bruno Mars, Philip Lawrence, Ari Levine, Albert Winkler, and Jeff Bhasker, while production was handled by The Smeezingtons in collaboration with Bhasker. "Talking to the Moon" is a pop and R&B power ballad about a failed relationship, solitude, and sadness. Instrumentally, the track relies on drum percussion and piano.
The song received mixed reviews from music critics. Some praised its slow pace and lyrics, while others criticized its overwhelming production. The song was announced as a single only in Brazil, on April 12, 2011, through Warner Music Brasil, following its appearance on the soundtrack of the Brazilian telenovela Insensato Coração (Irrational Heart) from 2011. As a result, the track charted on the Brasil Hot 100 Airplay, where it spent several weeks at number one, and on the Billboard Brasil Hot Pop & Popular. It was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The song was performed during Mars' debut world tour, The Doo-Wops & Hooligans Tour (2010–2012), as the fourteenth track on its set list and during a show on the South American leg of the 24K Magic World Tour (2017–2018).
I know you're somewhere out there
Somewhere far away
I want you back
I want you back

My neighbors think I'm crazy
But they don't understand
You're all I had
You're all I had

At night when the stars light up my room
I sit by myself
Talking to the Moon
Tryna get to you
In hopes you're on the other side
Talking to me too
Or am I a fool who sits alone
Talking to the Moon?
Oh, oh

I'm feeling like I'm famous
The talk of the town
They say I've gone mad
Yeah, I've gone mad
But they don't know what I know
'Cause when the Sun goes down
Someone's talking back
Yeah, they're talking back, oh

At night when the stars light up my room
I sit by myself
Talking to the Moon
Tryna get to you
In hopes you're on the other side
Talking to me too
Or am I a fool who sits alone
Talking to the Moon?
Ah, ah, ah

Do you ever hear me calling?
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh (ah, ah, ah)
'Cause every night
I'm talking to the Moon
Still trying to get to you
And hopes you're on the other side
Talking to me too
Or am I a fool who sits alone
Talking to the Moon?
Oh, oh

I know you're somewhere out there
Somewhere far away.

Fergie was originally a member of the children's television series Kids Incorporated and the girl group Wild Orchid. In 2001, she left the group and in the subsequent year joined the Black Eyed Peas. She worked with the Black Eyed Peas on two albums before releasing her debut solo album, The Dutchess, in 2006. An accompanying music video for the single was directed by Marc Webb and features Fergie playing around with men in England. The song was featured in the film Neighbors and appears on the film's soundtrack.
Oh, shit!
Oh, shit!
Oh, shit! (They ain't ready for this)
Oh, shit!

Oh!
It's me, Fergie
And the Pen
Polo!
(Fergie Ferg, what's up, baby? Come on)

When I come to the club, step aside (oh, shit!)
Part the seats, don't be having me in the line (oh, shit!)
V.I.P. 'cause you know I gotta shine (oh, shit!)
I'm Fergie Ferg, and me love you long time (oh, shit!)
All my girls get down on the flo' (oh, shit!)
Back to back, drop it down real low (oh, shit!)
I'm such a lady, but I'm dancing like a hoe (oh, shit!)
'Cause you know I don't give a fuck, so here we go (oh, shit!)

How come every time you come around
My London, London Bridge, wanna go down, like
London, London, London
Wanna go down, like
London, London, London
We going down, like
How come every time you come around
My London, London Bridge, wanna go down, like
London, London, London?
Wanna go down, like
London, London, London?
Be going down, like

Now as the drinks start pouring
And my speech start slurring
Everybody start looking real good (oh, shit!)

That Grey Goose got your girl feeling loose
Now I'm wishing that I didn't wear these shoes (I hate heels)
It's like every time I get up on the dude
Paparazzi put my business in the news
And I'm like, get up out my face (oh, shit!)
Before I turn around and spray your ass with mace (oh, shit!)
My lips make you wanna have a taste (oh, shit!)
You got that
I got the bass

How come every time you come around
My London, London Bridge, wanna go down, like
London, London, London
Wanna go down, like
London, London, London
We going down, like
How come every time you come around
My London, London Bridge, wanna go down, like
London, London, London?
Wanna go down, like
London, London, London?
Be going down, like

La, da, da, da, da, do, do, do, do
Me like a bullet type, you know they coming right
Fergie lovin' 'em long time, my girls support, right?
La, da, da, da, da, do, do, do, do
Me like a bullet type, you know they coming right
Fergie lovin' 'em long time, my girls support, right?
