        Jota Quest é uma banda brasileira de pop rock formada em Belo Horizonte, em 1993. Nasceu com o nome J. Quest, por inspiração do desenho animado Jonny Quest. Para não serem processados pela Hanna-Barbera, o grupo teve de mudar o nome da banda para Jota Quest no final da década de 1990. Há também uma versão que diz que a alteração foi feita por Tim Maia, que, se referia a banda como Jota Quest.

          A banda também encontrou inspiração na banda de acid jazz Jamiroquai. Foi por gostar de black music (soul/funk/disco) e acid jazz que o baixista PJ e o baterista Paulinho Fonseca resolveram formar uma banda. Em seguida, o guitarrista Marco Túlio Lara e o tecladista Márcio Buzelin juntaram-se ao grupo. Rogério Flausino começou sua atuação no conjunto após ser escolhido num teste com mais de dezoito candidatos.

       Em 1996, foram contratados pela Sony Music e gravaram o primeiro álbum J. Quest, que trouxe alguns singles de destaque, como a regravação de "As Dores do Mundo" (de Hyldon) e "Encontrar Alguém".

Até Onde Vai é o quinto álbum de estúdio (sétimo álbum no total) da banda brasileira Jota Quest, lançado no dia 16 de Setembro de 2005 pela gravadora Sony Bmg/Epic, os sucessos Além do Horizonte e O Sol fazem parte do álbum.

          Robert William Gary Moore (4 April 1952 – 6 February 2011) was a Northern Irish musician and songwriter. Over the course of his career he played in various groups and performed an eclectic range of music including blues, hard rock, heavy metal, and jazz fusion.

           Influenced by Peter Green and Eric Clapton, Moore began his career in the late 1960s when he joined Skid Row, with whom he released two albums. After Moore left the group he joined Thin Lizzy, featuring his former Skid Row bandmate and frequent collaborator Phil Lynott. Moore began his solo career in the 1970s and achieved major success with 1978's "Parisienne Walkways", which is considered his signature song. During the 1980s, Moore transitioned into playing hard rock and heavy metal with varying degrees of international success. In 1990, he returnd to his roots with Still Got the Blues, which became the most successful album of his career. Moore continued to release new music throughout his later career, collaborating with other artists from time to time. Moore died on 6 February 2011 from a heart attack while on holiday in Spain.

          Moore was often described as a virtuoso and has been cited as an influence by many other guitar players. He was voted one of the greatest guitarists of all time on respective lists by Total Guitar and Louder. Irish singer-songwriter Bob Geldof said that "without question, [Moore] was one of the great Irish bluesmen". For most of his career, Moore was heavily associated with Peter Green's famed 1959 Gibson Les Paul guitar. Later he was honoured by Gibson and Fender with several signature model guitars.

          Still Got the Blues is the eighth solo studio album by Northern Irish guitarist Gary Moore, released in 1990. It marked a substantial change in style for Moore, who, prior to this album, was predominantly known for rock and hard rock music with Skid Row, Thin Lizzy, G-Force, Greg Lake and during his own extensive solo career, as well as his jazz-fusion work with Colosseum II. As evidenced by its title, Still Got the Blues saw him delve into an electric blues style.

           The album features guest contributions from Albert King, Albert Collins and George Harrison.

         The title track was released as a single and reached Nº. 97 on the Billboard Hot 100 on 16 February 1991. To date, it is the only single of Moore's to chart on the Billboard Hot 100.

          The album reached Nº. 83 on the Billboard 200 on 16 February 1991, then was certified gold by the RIAA on November 1995. This was the most successful album both in sales and chart positions from Gary Moore in the US.

          João Penca e Seus Miquinhos Amestrados foi uma banda brasileira de rockabilly, doo-wop e surf music

        A banda foi formada nos anos 70, inicialmente com o nome Zoo, mas foi no ano de 1982 que eles surgiram para o estrelato acompanhando o cantor Eduardo Dussek. O bom humor era uma das características principais, bem como as roupas e topetes dos anos 50 (inspirados em astros do rockabilly e do rock and roll, como Elvis Presley e Chuck Berry). Além do trio de vocalistas dos álbuns da banda: Selvagem Big Abreu (Sérgio Ricardo Abreu), Bob Gallo (Marcelo Ferreira Knudsen) e Avellar Love (Luiz Carlos de Avellar Júnior). Teve como um de seus integrantes o cantor Leo Jaime.

        Algumas das músicas mais famosas da banda foram Calúnias (Telma, Eu Não Sou Gay), Lágrimas de Crocodilo, Romance em Alto Mar, Matinê no Rian (tema de abertura da novela O Sexo dos Anjos, 1989-1990), Papa Umama, S.O.S. Miquinhos e Popstar. A banda também criou a abertura do programa Milk Shake, que era apresentado por Angélica na extinta TV Manchete. Em 1996 o grupo gravou uma versão do Hino do Clube Atlético Mineiro para um CD que foi lançado pela revista Placar. Ao longo dos anos 80, fizeram parcerias com alguns cantores voltados pro público infantil, como Xuxa e Mara Maravilha, e também estrelaram o filme juvenil Lua de Cristal junto com Xuxa, Sérgio Mallandro e grande elenco.

          Os músicos eram uma turma de amigos do Leblon, a maioria do mesmo prédio, que formaram a banda "João Penca e seus Miquinhos Amestrados" no início da década de 80, com o nome mais ridículo que conseguiram pensar e dentro do espírito irreverente que caracteriza o brasileiro e, em especial o carioca. Eram nove: Bob Gallo, Avellar Love, Leo Jaime, Selvagem Big Abreu, Leandro Verdeal (ou Leandor), Cláudio Killer (Cláudio Knudsen, irmão de Bob Gallo, morreu em 1983 envenenado por gás no banheiro), Del Rosa, Guilherme Hully Gully e Mimi Erótico. Léo logo saiu para fazer carreira solo. Na época ele disse que a turma não levava a carreira a sério e ele estava a fim de tentar carreira porque precisava de dinheiro.

          Na época Eduardo Dussek estava numa fase rock com temas engraçados, daí os Miquinhos participaram de seu disco Cantando no Banheiro (de grande sucesso) e do disco seguinte, Brega Chique, que também teve participação d'Os Paralamas do Sucesso. Em 1983 lançaram o disco "Os Maiores Sucessos de..." (que na verdade não era uma coletânea) e depois mais 5 discos: "Okay My Gay" (1986), "Além da Alienação” (1988), "Sucesso do Inconsciente" (1989), "Cem Anos de Rock ’n Roll" (1991) e "A Festa dos Micos" (1993, coletânea, 1º CD da banda) – além de vários singles. Em 2000 saiu uma coletânea em CD da linha "Hot 20".

           A Festa dos Micos (Portuguese for "The Party of the Apes") is a compilation album by Brazilian new wave band João Penca e Seus Miquinhos Amestrados. It was released in 1993 by Leblon Records. It was the band's last release prior to their break-up one year later.

        The compilation contains some of the band's most famous hits, ranging from their 1983 debut album to their latest release, 1990's Cem Anos de Rock n' Roll, as well as some re-recordings and previously unreleased tracks.

          Robert Clark Seger (/ˈsiːɡər/; born May 6, 1945) is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. As a locally successful Detroit-area artist, he performed and recorded as Bob Seger and the Last Heard and Bob Seger System throughout the 1960s, breaking through with his first album, Ramblin' Gamblin' Man (which contained his first national hit of the same name) in 1968. By the early 1970s, he had dropped the 'System' from his recordings and continued to strive for broader success with various other bands. In 1973, he put together the Silver Bullet Band, with a group of Detroit-area musicians, with whom he became most successful on the national level with the álbum Live Bullet (1976), recorded live with the Silver Bullet Band in 1975 at Cobo Hall in Detroit, Michigan. In 1976, he achieved a national breakout with the studio álbum Night Moves. On his studio albums, he also worked extensively with the Alabama-based Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section, which appeared on several of Seger's best-selling singles and albums.

            A roots rocker with a classic raspy, powerful voice, Seger wrote and recorded songs that dealt with love, women, and blue-collar themes, and is an example of a heartland rock artist. He has recorded many hits, including "Night Moves", "Turn the Page", "Still the Same", "We've Got Tonite", "Against the Wind", "You'll Accomp'ny Me", "Hollywood Nights", "Shame on the Moon", "Like a Rock", and "Shakedown", the last of which was written for the 1987 film Beverly Hills Cop II and topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He also co-wrote the Eagles' number-one hit "Heartache Tonight", and his recording of "Old Time Rock and Roll" was named one of the Songs of the Century in 2001.

           With a career spanning six decades, Seger has sold more than 75 million records worldwide, making him one of the world's best-selling artists of all time. Seger was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004 and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2012. Seger was named Billboard's 2015 Legend of Live honoree at the 12th annual Billboard Touring Conference & Awards, held November 18–19 at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York. He announced his farewell tour in September 2018.
