Nunca vas a comprender
Que yo te quise
Nunca vas a comprender

Nunca vas a comprender
Que yo te quise
Nunca vas a comprender

The Lumineers are an American folk rock band based in Denver, Colorado. The founding members are Wesley Schultz(lead vocals, guitar) and Jeremiah Fraites (drums, percussion, piano). Schultz and Fraites began writing and performing together in Ramsey, New Jersey in 2005. Cellist and vocalist Neyla Pekarek(cello) joined the band in 2010, and was a member until 2018. The Lumineers emerged as one of the most popular folk-rock/Americana artists during the revival of those genres, their popularity growing in the 2010s. The band's stripped back raw sound draws heavily from artists that influenced Schultz and Fraites such as Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan and Tom Petty. They are known for their energetic live shows and several international hit singles including "Ho Hey", "Stubborn Love", "Ophelia" "Angela" and "Cleopatra". The band has become one of the top touring bands in the United States and is also popular in other countries.
The Lumineers have released three albums on American independent label Dualtone Records(Dine Alone in Canada and Decca/Universal worldwide). Their self-titled first album was released in 2012 and peaked at Nº 2 on the U.S. Billboard 200. It has been certified triple platinum in the U.S. and Canada, platinum in the U.K. and Ireland, and gold in Australia. Their second album, Cleopatra, was released in 2016 and debuted at Nº 1 on the Billboard 200, and also on the Canadian and British album charts. It is currently certified platinum in the U.S. Their third album, titled III, was released on September 13, 2019 and debuted at Nº 2 on the Billboard 200. The Lumineers have publicly campaigned to ban mobile phones at their concerts, providing a locking pouch for people to hold their phones in during live performances.
"Cleopatra" is a song recorded by American folk rock band the Lumineers. The song serves as the title track to their second studio álbum of the same name.
"Cleopatra" was released as the album's second single on March 25, 2016.

I was Cleopatra, I was young and an actress
When you knelt by my mattress, and asked for my hand
But I was sad you asked it, as I laid in a black dress
With my father in a casket, I had no plans, yeah

And I left the footprints, the mud stain on the carpet
And it hardened like my heart did when you left town
But I must admit it, that I would marry you in an instant
Damn your wife, I'd be your mistress just to have you around

But I was late for this, late for that, late for the love of my life
And when I die alone, when I die alone, die I'll be on time, ah, yeah

While the church discouraged, any lust that burned within me
Yes my flesh, it was my currency, but I held true
So I drive a taxi, and the traffic distracts me
From the strangers in my backseat, they remind me of you

But I was late for this, late for that, late for the love of my life
And when I die alone, when I die alone, when I die I'll be on time

And the only gifts from my Lord were a birth and a divorce
But I've read this script and the costume fits, so I'll play my part

I was Cleopatra, I was taller than the rafters
But that's all in the past love, gone with the wind
Now a nurse in white shoes leads me back to my guestroom
It's a bed and a bathroom
And a place for the end

I won't be late for this, late for that, late for the love of my life
And when I die alone, when I die alone, die I'll be on time, ah.

LOVE IS A HURTIN THING

LOU RAWLS
SONGWRITERS: BEN RALEIGH & DAVE LINDEN
COUNTRY: U. S. A.

"Love Is a Hurtin' Thing" is a 1966 pop/soul single by Lou Rawls and was written by Ben Raleigh (1913-1997) & Dave Linden (pseudonym used by David J. Luff). The single was his second entry on the R&B singles chart as well as his first Top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 pop chart. "Love Is a Hurtin' Thing" was the first of two Lou Rawls singles to make it to number one on the R&B chart.
For every little kiss there's a little teardrop
For every single thrill there's another heartache
The road is rough
The going gets tough

Love is a hurtin' thing
Oh, love is a hurtin' thing

When you're in my arms I'm a king on a throne
But when we're apart I walk the streets alone
One day happiness
The next day, loneliness

When love brings so much joy why must it bring such pain
Guess it's a mystery that nobody can explain

Maybe I'm a fool to keep on loving you
'Cause there may come a time you'll break my heart in two
But I want you so
I want you though I know that

Love is a hurtin' thing
Oh, love is a hurtin' thing.

Williams left the band in 1995 while the four remaining members completed their world tour and released a final single before splitting up in 1996. After filming a 2005 Take That: For the Record about the group and releasing a new greatest hits album, a four-piece Take That without Williams officially announced a 2006 reunion tour around the UK, entitled The Ultimate Tour. On 9 May 2006, it was announced that the group were set to record new material together once again; their fourth studio album, Beautiful World, was released in 2006 and was followed up with The Circus, in 2008. The group achieved new success as a four-piece, scoring a string of chart hits across the UK and Europe while selling over 45 million records worldwide. Williams rejoined Take That in 2010 for the band's sixth studio album, Progress. Released on 15 November of that year, it was the first album of new material to feature Take That's original line-up since their 1995 album, Nobody Else. It became the fastest-selling album of the 21st century and the second fastest-selling album in British history.
In 2014, the band recorded a seventh studio album, this time as a trio without Williams and Orange. The album, titled III, was released in November 2014 and became the band's seventh number one. It was preceded by the single "These Days", which became the band's 12th number one single in the UK.
In 2011, Take That set the new record for the fastest-selling tour of all time in the UK with Progress Live, beating the previous record set by their Circus Live Tour in 2009. At the 2011 Brit Awards they won Best British Group. In 2012, Forbes named them the fifth highest-earning music stars in the world. The group performed at the London 2012 Olympic Games closing ceremony, playing "Rule the World" while the Olympic Flame was extinguished. In the same year, the Official Charts Company revealed the biggest-selling singles artists in British music chart history with Take That currently placed at 15th overall, making them the most successful boy band in UK chart history. Four of their albums are listed in the best-selling albums of the millennium, with three of them among the 60 best-selling albums in UK chart history

The album has been certified two-times platinum in the United Kingdom
Love, once you've tasted love
Love, once you've tasted love
Love, once you've tasted love
Love, once you've tasted love

Don't be sold a dream
Remember how the past has been
Don't be led to believe this one's for you
Calculate your needs
I see there's room to plant your seeds
Don't decide |til you see how the others have grown

Once you've tasted love it is just the beginning of a new world
Once you've tasted love there's no way you can give in, oh no
Once you've tasted love

Still too early to know
Give them time and they will grow
Don't believe that the first's the one for you
Most will grow to be tall
Others will break and fall
Keep your eye on the strongest head of them all

Once you've tasted love it is just the beginning of a new world
Once you've tasted love it is just the beginning
Your head is spinning
Once you've tasted love

Once you've tasted love
Once you've tasted love
Once you've tasted love
Once you've tasted love
Once you've tasted love it is just the beginning of a new world
Once you've tasted love there's no way you can give in, oh no
Can't control your mind and your head is still spinning, oh yeah
(Once you've tasted love) once you've tasted love is just the beginning
Once you've tasted love

You've tasted love, you know it's good
Come taste my love
You know you should

Came into my world and the badness disappears
Take my hand, don't be afraid, I'm gonna work off all your fears
It feels so nice to be with you
Us two, we fit like a glove
When I see your eyes I realize you too have tasted love

You've tasted love, you know it's good
Come taste my love
You know you should.
